  1. I think criticism of his stats without a decent QB amplifies it though. I am sure he is well aware of that already though, so I see your point. I just don't see how fans railing on him for this stuff helps any.
  2. Fans railing on him for something out of his control pushes him away from us. Our QB situation doesn't help either. So yes, it makes it easier for him to say CYA in 2018
  3. Sure you can be offended, but you can also be rational and know Sammy was just taking a shot at the people who were taking a shot at him. It's easy to be offended, hard to think rationally.
  4. Because in his original post he speaks of them. "To all the people that have a problem with me being injured"
  5. Because we aren't the douchebags that set him off? I am confident with my life, and don't need Sammy Watkins affirmation that I am not a loser.
  6. I don't believe those are the people he is criticizing. It is the people criticizing Watkins on his accounts because he is injured. Sammy posts pic of his family at disneyland. "What are you doing walking around Disneyland with your family? Shouldn't you be training, and working out so that you aren't such a bust? #glasswatkins" = the people Sammy, and the rest of us are criticizing.
  7. I think we heard you the first time. Quit trolling.
  8. Man, we are straight up chasing this guy out of Buffalo because he had unlucky injuries. Get it straight people, you fired first, on his instagram, on his facebook, on his twitter. Sure that happens to all athletes, but when they fire back don't act shocked and appalled because you acted like the douchebags first.
  9. The people upstairs who review TO's, and scoring plays should also be looking for clearly blown calls. The play is already stopped for the penalty so it wouldn't take much time. Of course this should only be on flags thrown, as that is an official interference into the game rather than looking for penalties that should have been called but were not. Either that or like you said above make these penalties challengable under the same challenge limits. Edit: On another note, if these are all "legitimate" flags and the officials are just calling them more (noticeable uptick in flags thrown), then maybe the rules need to be changed. If football was more enjoyable with less flags, and players presumably getting away with fouls 5 years ago that they aren't now, then either change the rules or tell the officials to lighten up. Just my 2 cents, flag football is no fun.
  10. Haha, the patriot fans are having a field day saying Goodell "inflated" the numbers.
  11. I said the same thing (but I likely won't follow through). They better do something spectacular if they bring him out of that alive.
  12. I assume you haven't seen the type of comments on anything he posts on facebook? I don't mind him calling them out because they are straight up ignorant douchebags.
  13. There were a few times I wished Fred was back there pass blocking.
  14. Neither could they. I don't think disagreeing that they will "rip us a new one" is underestimating them by any means. No need to argue though, we will be able to see the actual game in a few short weeks.
  15. Oh yeah, we discount the actual game we played against them, and give tons of weight to the epic wins against the Titans and Texans Every game is it's own matchup. Tannehill is scared of our defense. He admits it.
  16. https://www.facebook.com/NFLonFOX/videos/990655580972582/ Not sure if posted already.
  17. Manuel and a mid round draft pick. Not enough? Then take care of your own problems!
  18. Any link to your grapevine? Rex said he is confident Tyrod will be ready Week 9. And they haven't practiced or anything since then so....
  19. Because there is an argument for the inconsistency of the officiating. If you are going to call pass interference on Robey the play before, then you better damn well call clear and obvious holding on Jacksonville the next play.
  20. Two game deciding calls right in a row. 3rd and 15? Meh give it to them, its our fault we are down. Game winning TD? Meh give it to them, its our fault we are up.
  21. The person I was watching with called it. The officials didn't. How does this happen?
  22. Probably, but Rex has had zero leeway on any front in his first 2 games as coach let alone a season or two to build something.
  23. Agreed. At this point Rex is love him or hate him, and the hate him crowd sees an opportunity to rail on him for every little thing. (Even charging headsets ) I fear it will always be this way with Rex.
  24. These are the types of calls I think a challenge would help. Challenges are limited so it's not like everyone would be challenging every called penalty, but if a coach sees a blatantly bad call, he should be able to throw the red flag for officials to take another look. The officials can still make the judgement call that there was hand swatting, and bumping and whatnot and uphold the penalty, but it would help reverse penalties called in error especially critical ones such as this.
