Yep, we probably could have had this conversation after Week 2, and then we pulled off 4 straight. But yeah those were wins that weren't against the right teams. Our AFC record is 1-2. Hardly unable to overcome that with 8 AFC games remaining.

SNF--Seahawks at Cardinals--terrible game
What a Tuel replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hilarious Watching the individual expressions of the people behind them is entertaining too. All I needed was the Cardinals to punt that ball away. It's unlikely that Lamar Miller gets 18 points tomorrow, but with the Cardinals defense playing against David Johnson and Haushka, I just needed them to punt and win the game 3-0. No, the Seahawks had to block the punt and proceed to make it a 40 point difference instead of a 18. No way Miller gets 40. Freaking seahawks. I'm glad they tied. -
Yep those Chiefs have had some success alright. If we had the Chiefs playoff history from the last 10 years, you would be saying the exact same thing. For sure be upset that we loss. Do not make the mistake of assuming I am not pissed off that we lost a game we should have won. But so have all those other teams. Pittsburgh lost to Miami Chiefs lost to Houston Denver lost to San Diego Hell even the New England got shut out by us. Sure maybe they recover, maybe they don't, but the season isn't over for you to make that claim. This is a recurring theme with Bills fans, and I find it annoying. We did the same damn thing after we lost to Miami and Kansas City in 2014. People gave right the up. Said it was impossible at 5-5 to make the playoffs. But, we very nearly did. Now maybe we don't play the game, and so it doesn't matter, but Bills fans are so beaten down that at the slightest bit of adversity they give up. We are 4-3. The season is not lost. We didn't make the playoffs in the first 6 weeks, and we didn't get eliminated in the playoffs in the first 7. That's why they play the whole season.

It's painful the way people have BBFS these days. We need to break this streak and get them some help. There are only 2 teams that have a better win percentage than us right now (Ignoring playoffs seeding and not accounting for byes) I wonder if Steelers, Chiefs, and Broncos fans are melting down this much at 4-3. And if they are, then the Dolphins, Ravens, Bengals, Colts, Titans, and Chargers fans must be suicidal at 3-4.

It kind of flipped. Our line used to the ones to terrorize Tannehill, I seriously believe he feared us. That running game let him settle down and just make the passes he needed to. We need Dareus back.

Monday Night Football Texans @ Broncos (I guess I'd say Texans here right?) The good news: Steelers lost to the Patriots (At this point, I don't see them losing 6 games for us to compete with them for the division) Ravens lost to the Jets Not sure yet news: Titans lost to the Colts The bad news: Bills lost to Dolphins ( fish) Browns lost to the Bengals Saints lost to the Chiefs Jaguars lost to the Raiders Next Weeks Matchups Jaguars @ Titans (We want the Titans to lose) Redskins @ Bengals (Clearly want the Bengals to lose here) Chiefs @ Colts (I think we want the Chiefs to lose here) Raiders @ Buccaneers (Clearly want the Raiders to lose) Lions @ Texans (Clearly want the Lions to lose) Patriots @ Bills ( ) Jets @ Browns (Not sure it matters much) Chargers @ Broncos (Starting to think Chargers might be a wild card threat if the ball starts bouncing their way - This one is too close to call) So we have a lot to root for next week. Our current closest competitors for the wildcard are: Chiefs at 4-2 Broncos at 4-2 However this can easily change from week to week. One week at a time guys. Just like 2014, we aren't out until the season is over, so quit your whining.

The place to repent for McCoy Doubters
What a Tuel replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I suggest you read up on Ajayi. He was a 5th round pick for a significant reason. http://www.thephinsider.com/2015/6/1/8695651/are-the-concerns-about-jay-ajayis-knee-real-or-imagined Right or wrong about the knee, he fell in the draft. As for McCoy, he was freaking limited. You say you aren't a doubter, but you come to gloat when he is limited and practically a decoy (bad coach game plan) and does poorly? -

How quickly they come out of the woodwork to spew nonsense towards the Bills. -
Not Rocket Science - 67 yards rushing leads to Loss
What a Tuel replied to mesaboogie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, if Shady was truly limited and he was just a decoy to keep the Miami defense honest, they weren't fooled, and the better play was to let Gillislee get into a rhythm from the start. -
Yeah, I agree. I thought it was a very reasonable contract for a starting QB. He even gave us an out. If he was lighting it up this year, and we didn't lock him up, the fans would be going "Whaley asleep at the wheel, now we have to pay top dollar for Tyrod"

Should Whaley make a trade for a WR?
What a Tuel replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You guys are hilarious. The guy had 3 catches for 28 yards. -
But 27.5!!!!

I'm glad you made this thread. Contain the nonsense and whining to one part of the forum.

There was like 700 uncalled holding penalties on their "amazing" line. I don't understand why they weren't calling it
-
Give it a rest
-
I'm not saying I want the hype. I am saying we shouldn't have an asterisk next to our wins because we are Buffalo. That's stupid.
-
So it doesn't have to make sense? Got it, but I think that's what we are saying.
-
Not to mention how they gush over the Patriots who have faced: Palmer, Tannehill, Osweiler, Taylor, Whitehurst, Dalton
-
Or Flacco (258 and 1 td) Not awful but the defense held them to 13.

Bills show interest in vet WR Andre Roberts.
What a Tuel replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is signed with the Lions, so I don't know what the OP is referring to. It would have to be a trade wouldn't it? -

I'm not reading this whole thread, but has anyone mentioned the Bears are 1-6 and do not want EJ for the same reason you want to trade him. He isn't the future of their team. Their season is lost, they are not desperate for a QB, they are likely desperate to draft one early next year. Why wouldn't they be fine playing Barkley over EJ the rest of the year, and saving their WR?? Not to mention Cutler is coming back eventually. -
6 carries for 5 yards so far for .8 yards per carry. Don't shoot me for putting my bets on Gillilslee 17 for 117 at 6.9 yards per carry.

Kaepernick and the National Anthem
What a Tuel replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So you are both right, he has felt mistreated but aims the protest at the people who don't have a voice. I am more inclined to disagree with his repeated reinforcement of the false narrative in which he states the police are targeting black people. http://ninerswire.usatoday.com/2016/08/28/transcript-colin-kaepernick-addresses-sitting-during-national-anthem/ -
You can't tell me when Goodwin caught that pass that you didn't say "That is awesome, but the defense is going to wear down after that 8 minute jets drive", but the defense surprised with only allowing another FG. Then the Bills offense went 3 and out in 1:38 seconds, and the defense went out on the field and allowed a TD. TOP at the point 12 minutes 35 seconds for the Jets and 3 minutes 3 seconds for the bills at that point. Pegula is right.
