  1. I still can't imagine why 5 refs couldn't get together and say "let's get this right". Especially assuming Rex was making his case to them. I know they shouldn't be swayed by players or coaches, but a "hey, he's got a point, let's talk about this" should be in order right? I feel like they do it for intentional grounding...
  2. Didn't see that part. What did he tell Lisa Salters?
  3. I think it was a joke about how it would coincide with the unfairness theme. He should be pissed. They stole this game from us.
  4. Super accurate robot refs would make the game fair but unwatchable haha.
  5. Ah, I see. That was it.
  6. No because I believe they threw a pass to get closer and had to get ready to kick with the regular ball quickly. Just going off of poor memory though.
  7. After the game, Ryan relayed an exchange he had with Sherman following a third quarter interception. "He's mean-mugging like he's always doing and whatever," Ryan said. "It was a ridiculous play, no question. Then he's over on the sideline basically taunting us, so I had some words. I think I said 'You're too good a player to act like an ass.' "
  8. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2016110700/2016/REG9/bills@seahawks#menu=gameinfo%7CcontentId%3A0ap3000000735899&tab=recap 1:20 seconds in. Not sure if it has the angle you want. Here's a better one: http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/11/8/13560260/richard-sherman-bills-illegal-contact-walter-powell
  9. This is infuriating. "If there was a little time left, then that's probably a mistake on my part in terms of not pumping the play clock back up. But, I was not aware that it was that far into the play clock" WTF. You couldn't stand around and talk about it with your god damn buddies and say Ref #1 - "Gee that 25 seconds went by rather quickly...." Ref #2 - "Yeah, it did I just barely got enough time to place the ball" Nope. Ref #3 - "Delay of game Buffalo"
  10. Yeah after your other response, I reread what you wrote. Contact ok until ball in the air after going out of the pocket makes sense, I just think labeling Powell was a penalty. Not sure the rule for contact to be okay was meant for punishing a WR by launching yourself at him.
  11. Everyone is talking about contact. I am not sure leveling the guy counts as just contact.....
  12. Ball wasn't in the air. Tyrod was holding the ball. You can see Woods closer to Powell still running his route.
  13. Contact maybe. Laying them out. Unlikely.
  14. Seahawks fans sure think the roughing the kicker was a good play by Sherman. "He touched the ball so it's ok" http://www.seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=130991
  15. Half hearted apologies from officials after they screw us over don't get us into the playoffs either. They screwed up awful several times, but at least 2 game changing calls where they could have stopped and thought about it and gotten it right. That's not a moral victory, that's getting hosed.
  16. He had to know he was offsides. Noone else was moving by the time he got to the kicker. Whistles blowing. He did it on purpose.
  17. Don't worry! the one watching the playclock was! They can't !@#$ing stop and think about this for a second.
  18. He looked like he clearly knew he was offsides too. !@#$er.
  19. A couple passes he didn't seem to layout for the pass like he normally does, and it looked odd because it seemed like it was right after Bortles overthrew him on a different one that he did lay out for but didn't come up with. Almost like he was tired of it. Could always be poor angles and my imagination. Plus I heard Robinson was slamming his helmet around. Maybe this from Roto set this in my mind. Who knows. It was an blowout against the Titans that week. Worthy of being upset. All of Robinson's production came in garbage time. Dealing with unacceptably-bad wobblers from Blake Bortles, Robinson's frustration boiled over. He was visibly upset multiple times on the field, and caught by the camera launching his helmet on the sideline. Robinson has had struggles of his own this season, dropping far too many passes and running some shaky routes, but Bortles has been his biggest issue. Robinson will remain a low-end WR2 against the Chiefs in Week 9.
  20. Yeah, I agree. Play McCoy! As long as he is active and they are saying he is nearly healthy then he is your guy. Definitely! Although did you watch the game? I get the nagging feeling something is up between him and Bortles. Maybe I'm just imagining it.
  21. Right wishing we could trade our losses out of the AFC is legitimate. Where it becomes ridiculous is to cap the wins and say a win against Seattle hurts our chances for the playoffs because we can only have a limited number of wins. Winning against Seattle does not mean we lose an AFC game. They are independent of each other.
  22. And we are sick of seeing you say you are sick of seeing these posts. Its freaking football get over it. 15 other AFC teams are doing the same damn thing. Stay out of the thread if you don't want to talk about the playoff picture.
  23. Eh, I just like talking about it.
  24. Not downplaying what Dak has done in that system, but don't you wonder if we had taken Dak Prescott, and the Cowboys took Cardale Jones then we would be saying the exact same thing? Maybe, maybe not, and we will never know unless Cardale Jones plays in that system that set Dak up for success. I can agree with this point.
  25. Eh, now that I look at it, San Diego probably has to win 6 of next 7 too. Its rough going for them. But if they do go 6-1 in the next 7, then they give at least the Dolphins, Raiders, Chiefs, and Texans a loss. Not much margin for error there. Raiders have Chiefs, Chargers, Colts, Broncos, Bills left. Chiefs have Raiders, Titans, Broncos 2x, Chargers, These teams will beat each other up in the next 7 weeks.
