The role of Congress is not to act in accordance with the President's wishes; but rather to act as a check on Presidential power. If Congress disagrees with the President, and checks his attempts to advance his agenda, it does not bestow special powers to act unilaterally on the President. The fact that you seem to be making excuses for President Obama, noting a "do nothing Congress", is representative of an actual Constitutional crisis.

Humans have always dealt with the scarceness of resources the same ways: we generate new resources with invention, we go to war over those resources, or we expand into new areas to exploit new resources. The problem solves itself through human nature.

School Ties

We had our BBQ yesterday, we had about 45 people over. I served baby back ribs, steak tips, grilled shrimp skewers, brats, Hummel dogs, Hawaiian style chicken kabobs, grilled vegetable medley, bacon cheese burgers, grilled wasabi tuna, potato and egg salad, pasta salad, taco salad, Rhode Island style clear chowder, and my brothers brought a bunch of sea bass they had caught the night before and we grilled that up too.

I'm curious about what's so objectionable about an incoming administration establishing a channel of communications with other world powers. I'm also curious why folks think it's so unusual for most of our governments communication with other nations to be "secret".

You don't feel that "darker skinned guys" can be high character? You don't feel that "lighter skinned guys" can be talented and athletic?

I think it was a combination of multiple factors. Cyrus can't play RT, therefore isn't a viable option as a swing tackle, and rostering a back-up offensive lineman who can only play LT is a huge waste of a roster spot. Combine that with his injury, and most recently his off-field/personal issues, and I think it just became too much.
