  1. "My best worst mistake."
  2. We had Sammy, Shady and Karlos out that game. Seems to be the outlier here.
  3. 1-0 after bye weeks in 2015.
  4. I don't think JR was nitpicking, only saying it would've been nice to see TT show his aptitude in that area. I'm sure he's pleased with the win and thinks TT played well. I also would like to see TT go through his reads more when necessary.
  5. I thought he meant you didn't say what the comments were. Most topics like this put the comments in question in the OP, and your own comments were ambiguous enough to look like what was actually said.
  6. He only had to throw 12 times and completed 11 of them. When your first read is open 8 times, you don't really have to progress. Woods had one target. Sammy should always be the first read unless there's a criminal mismatch.
  7. We didn't all see the comments, so no one knew what you were commenting on.
  8. Talking about good deep passes, not counting this game, TT has a passer rating of ~132 on passes over 31 yards, and is completing 45% of them. That's money.
  9. Of course they made some good plays. Point me to where I said they didn't?
  10. Bailed out by the Dolphins' stupidity.
  11. As I'm sure most of you noticed, we ran some "tricky" plays with Tyrod carrying the ball at the end of the game today. I know some expressed concern with having TyGod running when the game was basically over. Anyone else get the impression they were getting those plays and formations on tape for next week? Personally, I think we'll see both of those formations again early next week, but the call will be different and we'll get big gains. The slight risk to Tyrod will be worth it.
  12. The WR actually didn't even catch the ball because Hughes was right on him. It was 3rd and 5(?) and Hughes broke up the play to force a punt.
  13. No one knows what is happening here.
  14. Gotta get him the ball in space to keep him effective.
  15. Everyone on offense except Woods and Hogan.
  16. He didn't get his 10 targets. I'd be pissed.
  17. Why wouldn't we have been? He was being shopped all over the league.
  18. This is when you know hope is dwindling.
  19. That's why I say the narrative is overplayed. There's truth to it, but it is taken to crazy extremes.
  20. Those organizations are not elite, no. But they are a few of the many examples of teams who didn't get the memo that RB's are devalued. Like I said, there isn't one organization who doesn't invest a decent amount of resources into their RB situation whose QB isn't Peyton or Brady. It's overplayed in the sense that folks act like no other team invests in the RB position. It's tiresome to read these posts that act like the Bills are the only team giving RB's big contracts. We aren't. We don't have a great QB, which makes virtually any RB effective. We need a great RB to drag this team to the postseason like AP did with the VIkings and we took a shot on one. Even if the Shady trade blows up, and Shady sucks, if we don't find a franchise QB, does it even matter? We swung for the fences and that's that.
  21. Jonathan Stewart was selected 13th overall too. Really it's just the team with a HoF QB and a HoF coach that don't invest much in the position. Lacy was a 2nd rounder. Chargers took Melvin Gordon. Todd Gurley is dominating. Even Shady was a 2nd rounder. The "RB is devalued" narrative is the most overplayed angle in sports.
  22. Yes. He won't be expensive and he's our #2 now. I still draft another WR high next season.
  23. But his contract was still eating at our cap.
  24. Did you see this one from week 15 2013? 25/37, 312 yards, 3 TD's 0 INT's including a game-winning drive in the 4th Q.
