  1. I don't like it when Bills players are questioning their coach. It's a little early for that.
  2. He's been here three years. Instant gratification?
  3. Various sects who are a tiny portion compared to the majority. Would you really argue that the WBC or some other loonie toons group is indicative of all Christianity? You do realize a large portion of faith is a belief in holy scripture, right? So you say you think they should be allowed to govern, but you wouldn't vote for anyone with religious beliefs? Have you ever voted?
  4. You stopped too early.
  5. Jesus, I said "you can do better," not worse.
  6. The second. I don't think you know what sour grapes means.
  7. I think that's actually worse.
  8. It's also reasonable to assume that a belief system passed down by countless generations may be a little more ingrained in a culture over one that was invented in the 1950s. Oh and it's not the one that's a cult.
  9. So it is your contention that Rex was hired by the Pegula's completely independent from Whaley? He had no part in it? They didn't consult him? That they walked up and said, "Rex is your coach now?"
  10. If the owners would go against a firm negative from their GM, we are in a world of trouble.
  11. Does Rex's scheme match Whaley's talent? And Whaley was on board with the Rex hire. Do you think Pegula hires Rex if Whaley says he doesn't want him?
  12. Like I said, the idea of trading up is absolutely benefited by hindsight, which makes it all the more frustrating. I would've taken Mettenberger with 109 though. Guaranteed. We are now lucky (or unlucky) enough to not pick in the top ten for the next 2 years IMO. And with those first or second picks, I would take QB's.
  13. What's the definition of insanity? I was thinking trading back up, using some hindsight however. The main reason I think drafting back-to-back rookies is a good idea is because by the end of the second season, you have some ideas on your old rookie QB. Then he can either be A. the starter for the next season or B. compete with the rookie who has been getting acclimated to the offense as the #2/#3 in the offseason and year before. This eliminates the "grow into the position" AKA guaranteed 7-9 or worse year. Wouldn't it have been great to have another young QB who rode the pine the entire year before in camp this year? Or a kid who we could've had a future with to put in when EJ crashed and burned in 2014?
  14. Of course the Bills had QB's on their board, but they didn't draft one. You don't get points for thinking about it. There's no such thing as having too many rosters in the hen house. Nothing matters til we get a QB. We should draft one every two years at least. Almost all Superbowl winning teams haven't had to use back to back firsts because they found their franchise QB's John.
  15. I campaigned for a QB in the draft. I had no idea that Teddy, Manziel, and Carr would fall in the draft like they did, until they did. And I wasn't in the draft room fielding calls. Had I been, we might've had our franchise guy on our roster. How often do most teams win Superbowls John? Should we really be following the models of other sucky franchises? Carolina used a second on Clausen, then used a first on Cam. Seems to have worked out. The Browns have never done that though, better follow their lead.
  16. Except I campaigned for drafting a QB in the 2014 draft all the way leading up to it. Thank you.
  17. I would've drafted Carr or Bridgewater. Boom.
  18. I thought the catchphrase "asleep at the wheel," (one commonly posted in a joking manner referring to Buddy Nix overreactions on the first day of FA) would've be indicative enough. My theories aren't crazy though.
  19. Oh man, talking about the Bills GM once in the box and making a single topic about it. Crusade alert!
  20. Agreed. I just reject the notion that we had to take Geno in the second if we didn't take EEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeJ. That whole class was really bad though.
  21. It started out as a joke. But most of the posts I've made in this thread are for real.
  22. Oh, that was a joke.
