  1. Maybe Sammy was supposed to run a deeper route on Tyrod's pick and it would have been a perfect ball? Or were you in the huddle and I missed you on the broadcast?
  2. Joe Buscaglia ‏@JoeBuscaglia 3m3 minutes ago I wanted to see if there was something I missed during EJ's second quarter implosion to explain it. Nope. Stared down targets. Easy INTs. 2 retweets 1 favorite
  3. It went straight up in the air after Sammy deflected it. Would have fallen to the ground incomplete otherwise. Yes, I consider the QB to be less at fault when the ball deflects off a reciever's hands. Who wouldn't agree with that? I suppose you believe Brady made a huge mistake when that pick six flew off Edelman's hands last week?
  4. He hasn't posted since midway TC. I miss him as well. I assume he's okay because he was active yesterday.
  5. Deflected off his WR's hands? It's not like he hit a linebacker in the chest twice. Or is this another one of those times where "a pretty pick is still a pick," and no nuance need apply?
  6. The thing I think most people didn't consider was how bad Oakland was last year. Their top recievers were James Jones and Crabtree. Jones is killing it with Rodgers but who doesn't? He got cut from the Giants, he's bad. Crabtree is a #2 guy. Their rushing attack was hit or miss, and their defense, outside of Mack, was poor. For a rookie to have his TD:INT ratio with that team was incredible. Hell, throwing for 20+ TD's as a rookie is an above average year. Especially when you consider then being behind and teams playing the pass more/Carr pushing to attempt comebacks. Now with a legit #1 WR rookie(who is only going to get better) and some more added defensive guys, they are a decent team. And you're seeing growth in Carr along with the team. Which is honestly the best case scenario. They may not make the post season, but if they can add one or two more quality starters through the offseason and draft next year, I see them grabbing a WC spot.
  7. Any comment about the lack of comments in the positive thread go in the negative thread.
  8. I didn't expect him to play like he did against the Jags.
  9. That's what I thought. I thought I could've been confusing it with PB vs the Bengals on the long run. Other players who miss tackles make positive plays elsewhere, haven't seen one from Ik.
  10. That's what I'm saying. If EJ's a backup, he's not even playing at the level of Fitz, a career backup. EJ doesn't have to be Brady.
  11. Let's start with insisting he plays like Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  12. It looked like he was trying to throw the game. That's how awful he was. He made so many terrible, game-breaking mistakes, it looked like he was actively trying to lose. I don't think he was, obviously. He was just scared shitless, and he kinda sucks.
  13. There's a difference between "not being able to get anything offensively," and what EJ did. Two TO's returned for TD's is absolutely worst case scenario, as a starter or back up. Not to mention a third TO right after on our 30? It looked like he was trying to throw the game. Unacceptable. If he throws only 1 pick six, we win easy. EJ played well enough in the second half to get us close. But it was also in part to our defense dominating the Jags in the second half. Goalline stuff 3 times? 4 consecutive three-and-outs, putting the offense on the field at the 50 4 times? A pick-six? Bottom line, EJ lost us that game. Don't throw multiple TO's, 2 of them returned for TD's, on our own 20. That's not what you want in a backup. Bad halves or no, the score doesn't get washed away cause you were okay in the second half. Mistakes matter.
  14. I honestly don't know how many snaps he gets, so he may just be unlucky. I can only remember one from the game, but I don't remember the situation.
  15. Ik Enemkpali. This guy is absolutely terrible. Misses tackles every time he is on the field. He's our 53rd man and he is absolutely putrid. Why is he still here? Why was here to start with? More Rex buffoonery? I honestly don't get it. There has to be some FA vet we can bring in who can actually make an easy tackle. I don't like Ik(e).
  16. I got a couple scenarios. 1. 8-8ish, no playoffs. Whaley demoted under a football czar who coordinates Rex and Whaley. Hopefully playoffs after that, but probably not. Rex canned year two barring a 10-6 tiebreaker no playoffs. 2. 6-10 or worse case scenario. Whaley gone. Football czar with just Rex. Again, same story as above. 3. 10-6 and/or playoffs. Whaley may remain the top dog in the FO, but a consultant will be brought in.
  17. If you want to be elite, you take the bad call and stop them again. We did it against the Titans. That was an elite defensive stop. Wrench in the works but after they did their assignments, made a great play on the ball, ball game. If the defense was elite, we win that Jags game. No doubt in my mind. They aren't but they think they are. Worst case scenario.
  18. Players that safeties and LB's are supposed to cover are not covered and the ball gets thrown to said players.
  19. Poor little EJ made me lol.
  20. Rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue rogue
  21. He has a higher chance than EJ, who has zero.
  22. The losses don't help.
  23. Then he deserves nothing and warrants no more shots.
  24. No he doesn't. He gave up on EJ yesterday, he just loves getting folks fiery.
