Schwartz lost Kiko. Rex gained the DROY. Must be tough to put out a good defense with two top ten CB's, two average LB's, and a defense line full of ProBowlers. Just a defensive coordinators worst nightmare! Spikes was also a one down LB. Explain to me how a glorified role player who sucks in coverage helps Rex this year.

Yeah because they didn't suck. Rex loses a safety and sucks. Jim Schwartz loses a safety and doesn't suck. That's why it isn't applicable.

My point is you could make the exact same excuses last year, except last year you didn't have to because the defense wasn't ****. Rex, the great defensive coach lost a safety! Time to pack it in, no way to do anything after losing a safety.

Lol like the 2014 defense didn't lose Byrd and Kiko from the year before? Like Brown, Graham, and Searcy weren't brand new starters last year? Spikes played <30% of snaps. I'm sure he'd be the difference right now. Especially because he's such a great coverage LB. lol.

Well we threw the ball 12 times last game, so the #2 WR not getting involved too much isn't that rare considering the circumstances. He's not a "half-notch" above Easley. That's just crazy talk. He's a guy who can hurt you if you don't respect him/worry too much about our #1 WR. I'd still take another WR high because injuries happen, and 3 WR's is basically the base offensive formation.

He's a #2 guy. I'd take another WR fairly high.
