Jets' draft ammo is crazy right now
machine gun kelly replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
98, I don’t disagree with you Miami is the bigger threat. I’ve written it several times in other threads. 1-15 to 9-7 is pedestrian? I’d say not, then builds on it to 12-4 the next year. It took us which I’m proud and grateful to mcbeane for doing it in four years. There is a reason why Parcells has a gold jacket. He won two SB’s in the Giants, went to another in the Pats, went to the championship game in the jets two years after 1-15. he didn’t take the fins very far as GM, and Jerrah kept getting in his way with the Cowgirls. He is a well deserved HOF coach. we’ll agree to disagree on this one. As far as Miami, they have another 10 picks before all that maneuvering. They also have a little bit of $. We’ll see how good Flores is this year. I think they will give us a little more competition this year. -
Jets' draft ammo is crazy right now
machine gun kelly replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So a team that was 1-15 in 1996, he took in 1997 9-7, 12-4 in 1998, made it to the championship game, and then 8-8. His problem after the Giants is he would get bored and moved from team to team. He also previously took the Pats to the SB with Bledsoe. We’ll see what Salah does as he was a good DC. Sometimes these guys make the leap like McD, and sometimes not. I think he will in time turn that team around. Douglas needs to hit on that drat capital. As it stands he has 21 picks over the next two years. Miami had the same between last year and this year. Miami spent a ton of $ last year and had 11 picks. They went from 5-11 to 10-6. If they would e let Fitzy continue, they probably would’ve won another game and make the playoffs. They now have 10 picks. The AFCE will become more competitive over the next couple of years and I welcome it. -
Darnold to the Panthers
machine gun kelly replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish nothing but the best for Darnold. The Jets ruined him, and made so many bad personnel decisions most importantly who they hired previously for a coaching staff. I’m not sure what will happen in Carolina who is trying to rebuild their team. -
We pick 30th and will pick late next year so a hard no Atlanta would never do that deal. As far as Watkins, we didn’t give up two 1’s. We swapped 9th to 4th and gave up 1 1st round pick the next year, plus the other stuff.

Bills fact people might not now
machine gun kelly replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks Ethan. I’m glad he is ok. -
He seems like a good prospect, but I believe more GM’s than not match need with BPA. Also, smart GM’s make something you do well better, meaning we have a strong offense, so why not make it better. RB or TE makes us better as long as it’s a speed RB. If we go defense the obvious need is edge rusher. I know CB is important, but Dane and Wallace or decent. I’m guessing if Jaelan Phillips is there or Ettiene, one of those two may be our picks. One might fall to us as I’ll bet at least five QB’s will go round one and LT’s will go on a run. Then there’s Pitts, a couple of top WR’s and Harris. There is a chance we get one of the two. Both would be adds. one interesting topic is on WGR now about maybe a trade for singletary. With Braeda here for speed and Miss, if it looks like we could get Ettiene, there are teams who might want Singletary to move up a slot or two to get him. He did have a good rookie year, and several teams without a RB. it’s all speculation at this point. Happy Dimgud Day guys.

In many ways shredder, the center has to be very smart and having great coordination, he has to be able to snap both directly to the QB or shotgun, his body is in a far different position than a guard. Sure they are both in a three point stand, but he has to snap which changes body positioning, make call outs to line prior to the snap, and is the QB of the line. If it’s a pulling play, meaning he drives with the LG and LT to the left whereas the RG and RT pulling to the right to create a cut back line for the RB is just a small example. Morse is an excellent pulling center. The G more times than not is on an island. The RT is usually pushing to the outside and driving to the right. Lastly, when the Guard and Center stunt, meaning the RG moves to the left and the C moves to the right as a confusion to the opposing defensive line is organized more by the center. This is one of the reasons I like Ford for LG. Feliciano at RG is smart. He is very bright and can handle players on his own. Ford can simply maul people on the left and I believe he can do that. With all that said, I need more coffee so I’m sure others can speak more to the topic. I was a RB, and LB in football, but coached the defensive line when my sons were younger.

McShay Mock Draft 4.0
machine gun kelly replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
GB, I agree drafting one later that is a speedster would be nice, but not at 30. If we can get a decent Edge Rusher, that would be fantastic. The sad thing is I don’t see a top flight TE at 30. TE is definitely a need. Part of the reason we went 4 wide so often was the lack of talent we had at TE, and really our running game. Daboll went with our strength and it worked. Bolstering TE and the running game will make it easier to do 12 and 21 personnel balancing with 10. -

716, he’s 329, was rated in 2019 as one of the worst RT’s in the league, but played Guard his whole life. Do you’re homework as the avg. Guard is 312 lbs.. took me three minutes in research. He also was rated by the team is the best option in the beginning of the year at LG. I don’t know what leads you to believe he’s not powerful enough at Guard. He doesn’t have the hands and skills to play tackle. As I mentioned before, he is much more of a road grating interior lineman than a tackle. You’ll find out this year. It doesn’t mean anything until they get through camp as hell compete against Bates and Boettger. I’ll bet you a whole plug nickel (whatever that means as it’s my dads phrase) he’ll be in place to potentially be our LG. Now I do not think he is miracle answer at all. That’s silliness, but he should help the line.

McShay Mock Draft 4.0

This is who Kirwan picked in his first mock draft with Mills on MTC last week. Seems like a solid pick as I like Ettiene, but he may not be there. If they do get Phillips with those long arms 6’5”, 260, Epenesa should beef up like college and be there for running downs. -
Huh? Diggs caught a lot of balls? He had the most receptions and the most yards in 2020. Either you’re trying to tweak Bills fans, or you don’t understand football. He had an oblique injury and every other target except a TE who drops balls, and a RB who was not explosive so they keyed on Diggs in one game. The entire league and pundits know Diggs was amazing last year except you. if you want to say we need more explosive targets ok. I’ll agree with you. A faster more explosive RB, ok. A speed WR who is not hurt after the first few games in Brown, ok, but don’t denigrate one of the most impactful targets in the NFL. It’s just not that easy to find a Kittle, Kelce, or Hill.

Augs, how do you have such detailed info on the 70’s porn stache. 🤪🏈. Things that make you go hmmm. That was too easy Auggster. -
716, he’s, 6’4”, and 329 lbs. Yes he can and is what he’s done his whole life. I respectfully disagree with you. He’s more than powerful enough against DT’s. Guard and Tackle are such different positions. With a natural Guard, they are used to contact on the first step. Tackles especially on pass pro deal with a different type of athlete. They naturally need longer arms, a different bend, and are moving the DE’s in a much different manner. DE’s like Von Miller and even Hughes can be smaller, faster, and takes a different skill set to block. So many people don’t understand the differences between the two roles. I’m not saying you at all. It is rare a guy can play multiple roles. They are built for one vs. the other. Even Center is very different than a G. That’s one reason guys like Feliciano are not common who can be proficient at both G and C.

The fact that a criminal investigation is not good for him. The only thing I care about is if he did something wrong to any woman, he needs to be punished. I don’t care if he was the second coming of Bart Starr. If he didn’t, then I hope these women are punished as well. Either way, now that the law is involved, their burden is higher than a civil suit so the truth will eventually come out (I hope).

Hap, you’re right on predators. I won’t go far enough to say he was one, but in treating court ordered persons, I observed and saw predators try and manipulate me as a therapist. That type of person is smart and calculating. They learn over time how to look for cues to see if they can manipulate. It’s one of the reasons I hated dealing with court ordered persons. They weren’t there for the right reasons. I don’t know what’s going on here, but something troubling to me is why so many massage therapists? That makes zero sense. I’ve been friends with a couple of professional athletes, and was 100 years ago a top amateur athlete (just a middle aged guy now), and having that many massage therapists is just odd. Once they find the right person, they don’t deviate to others. Someone referenced a Barber/hair stylist, and was spot on. I don’t know about you guys, but once I found a stylist I liked who I didn’t have to say anything, I stuck with her for 15 years. I finally once moved went to a barber. The same guy cuts my hair every two weeks and I refuse to go to anyone else. If we add the twenty in his favor to the 20 or so complaining, doesn’t that create a raised eyebrow? I refuse to make a judgment as none of us know anything other than what is being released, but the more I hear, the more I’m confused and skeptical of both sides.

Sniveling, snot nosed punk. I resemble those remarks. Just kidding Chandman. When getting excited for big games, it sounds silly, but I used to play this song. I’m a little envious the Raidas have the coolest football song ever. That man had the best voice ever fir NFL Films presents. Agreed the Sabolls and him should be together busts for the HOF. They helped make the sport. Chand, thanks for the memory. -
I don’t know the guy but as said converting from soccer to kicker and hoops to te are the easiest transitions. Having played and coached running backs, that is a much harder transition. I know there is a lot of support for Wade and I hope he gets there. These two positions have a greater likelihood for maybe, maybe a success. I never thought wade would make the active roster, but hoped he would beat the odds. the tight end we want to be a perfect fit is a guy who is undersized at guard in the nba or college basketball who has some American football experience. If we Get him, I hope he makes it.
