  1. If you have such a minimal level of education on a topic, you really shouldn't be cluttering up the thread with meaningless comments.
  2. You're obviously not following the current health stats. The Southern states are, indeed, the ones experiencing spikes, especially in regards to the latest delta variant. Lost in this discussion also is the fact that as much as 10% of people who get Covid will experience long-term health effects, including lung damage-- and there is no correlation in these cases to pre-existing health. Cole beasley-- or the person he spreads the variant to-- could easily acquire these health issues, regardless of how healthy their lifestyle is.
  3. And yet, the people screaming the loudest about "getting back to normal" are the ones not willing to take the simplest step to get us there. You are the problem.
  4. In other news: The Bills are currently incredibly deep at wide receiver.
  5. If the front seven is getting consistent pressure on the QB-- giving him less time in the pocket, forcing him to throw sooner, limiting his reads, forcing him out of the pocket, etc.-- it shortens the field, causes the QB to not see open receivers, less time for receivers to get separation. That certainly makes the CBs' jobs easier. It's a lot easier to cover a receiver for four seconds than ten seconds, right? This is basic stuff. I feel like you're trying to make a different point.
  6. I thought the same thing.
  7. Looks like Gentry might be the "dark horse" this season? A lot of hay is being made of his chemistry with Allen, and if anyone watches Allen's highlight reel from Wyoming, you can see why. Really can't wait to see how the P/KR position pans out. Between that, RB, and Dlm there are some really intense competitions this year.
  8. If you were saying that I'm making assumptions of what the Pats* '21 season is going to look like based on what is happening in June, OTAs, I'm not. I'm making assumptions based on what has happened since Brady* left the building.
  9. June? No. "The Descent" is a long, painful process. It started when Brady* walked out the door. It continued when Cam Newton was plucked out of a bargain bin. Drafting a low-velocity QB in the first round is one more step in that process. And as a Bills fan, it's fun to watch.
  10. ... and also in January.
  11. Well, I'll go ahead and say it: If it seems like we're talking about the Patriots* more than we're talking about the Jets, or Phins, it's because it's really fun watching the Pats* descend into purgatory.
  12. You could also watch pretty much every game of Cam throwing last season.
  13. Good to know that Cam is "way ahead" of where he was last year, in June, when he was first handed the playbook.
  14. The weird thing will be when Mac takes over for Cam (which strikes me as inevitable). How much does their scheme change when they go from a tough, rushing QB, who throws wildly inaccurate fastballs to one who, while apparently quite accurate, has poor velocity (watch his college highlight reel!), lobs floaters that drop from the sky, and will likely get crushed if he has to escape the pocket? Just... weird...
  15. Have you met Schadenfreude? Schadenfreude, NDIrish. NDIrish, Schadenfreude.
  16. He plays for the Pats*. Is that not enough?
  17. Mac & Cheese looks like he's throwing a water balloon that he doesn't want to break.
  18. According to their roster chart, #50 is... defensive lineman Chase Winovich... he looks a little light... Honestly, this is some of the weirdest NFL footage I have ever seen. Other than Cam, and Mac throwing to those receivers, it looks like the entire rest of the team is standing around watching with their hands in their pockets. Bill Belichick* must be a genius!
  19. Spencer Brown looks like he could run a marathon.
  20. I wonder if Daboll might design a few trick plays that include Trubisky? He's currently the second best QB in the division. It'd be pretty cool to see Josh and Mitch on the field at the same time. And Daboll does love his trick plays.
  21. Obada is my dark horse. I suspect he is going to make an impact, and flourish on this team. And I'm a sucker for a compelling story.
  22. Well, this is PFF, and something must have accounted for Allen having a good season.
  23. It's pretty amazing the quality, and pedigree of players that are being considered "dark Horses" in this thread. In fact, numerous "dark horses" in this thread are last years starters-- a year that we went to the AFCCG.
  24. Trent Edwards. D. Jauron's "No Huddle, No O-line" offense did him no favors. He didn't arrive in Buffalo as "Captain Checkdown."
