  1. Bulaga is injured, but Justin McCray (RG) is listed as doubtful. Their whole right side looks pretty weak.
  2. If our secondary can really step up (the biggest "if" IMO), and we can continue last weeks trend of pressuring the QB, we might hold the Packers to a modest score. I doubt we're going to get the same kind of turnovers this week, as we did vs. the Vikes. Bulaga, McCray, and Graham being dinged up helps that cause a lot. If McCray doesn't play, they will be left pretty thin on their O-line. Speaking of which, I think that a lot will hinge upon how our own interior O-line performs. Pettine has been on record as favoring an interior pass rush. Even with Wilkerson out, their remaining three D-linemen aren't scrubs, and look for Clay Mathews to cut to the inside. The trio of Miller/Bodine/Ducasse makes me more nervous vs. Pettine's pass rush than what we faced vs. the Vikes.
  3. At the very least, the entire team got a shot in the arm vs. the Vikes. And, it did look like Benjimin was better in the second half (granted, Daboll took his foot off the gas at that point). But, maybe that enthusiasm will help get Benjimin's head back in the game? That would be the optimistic take.
  4. For me the most impressive part of that game was the opening drive. We had a perfectly balanced offense that just moved the chains. And then, Allen's Superman dive to the pylon! That opening drive completely shut down their defensive scheme for that game, and gave our defense something to play for. Man, that was fun to watch!
  5. That's how I interpreted it, as well. But, that begs the question: Why would leopards be looking for a carcass? They're predators, not scavengers.
  6. I think the O-line is getting a more even attack this year. Last season, with Incognito, and Glenn/Dawkins on the left, and Tyrod being as mobile as he was, I think defenses tended to attack the right side of Mills and Ducasse quite a bit more. So, I think the left side is getting a lot more pressure this season. Subsequently, Dawkins is struggling a bit more, and Mills isn't looking half bad. He held up pretty well Sunday, I thought, and was a decent run blocker, as well. Hate to say it also, but I think Bodine was an upgrade to Groy. At least, he stayed on his feet.
  7. All pretty mild criticisms, imo. Illegal formation penalties notwithstanding, the Bills showed more discipline regarding penalties than they have in a long, long time. And, at least a couple of their penalties were utterly bogus.
  8. F**k THAT! I'm beating my chest NOW Mutherf***er!!!
  9. I think Benjimin is pissed that Peterman, with whom he had good chemistry, was benched. I think he's been intentionally throwing the game so that they will be forced to put Peterman back in.
  10. Correlation ≠ Causation
  11. I'm not generally given to schadenfreude, especially when it comes to non-division teams (and I kinda like the Vikes-- always have), but THIS IS GOLD!!!
  12. Nah. Not to me. Nothing else today touches this. This was one of the most enjoyable games to watch in years, imho. Never have I sat down to watch a game with lower expectations that were exceeded by such a huge margin. Even as they entered halftime, I figured that somehow they would lose this game. The difference between last week and this is mind-boggling. It was the difference between an undisciplined team, and a disciplined one. I feel like that long incompletion was on Allen. Under-thrown, and maybe should have been an int?
  13. I also feel that, to some degree, our O-line is receiving a more balanced attack this year, rather than so much being thrown at our right side.
  14. Would that "power" be named Incognito?
  15. You always have to be a little suspicious of the choker. That could be hiding an Adam's apple.
  16. He got banged up a couple times, but was back out on the field right after. I think Hyde/Poyer were well positioned to help him out, also. And as another poster said earlier, a good pass rush elevates everyone. But, I will maintain what I said in another thread: Ryan Lewis was an upgrade to that other guy he replaced.
  17. I'll guess that the Packers are going to be preparing for next week with a little more intensity than the Vikes did for this week. Right now, the Vikes are wondering what hit them!
  18. Ryan Lewis was an upgrade to that guy he replaced.
  19. You can question it. I was a little disappointed they took their foot off the pedal. But, I certainly understand it. Run the ball, and the clock, down. Don't turn it over. Simple, and it worked. Lewis wasn't bad, was he?!?!
  20. Hughs, Milano, Lorax, T. Murphy, ON FIRE! Nate Orchard contributed, as well. And, I don't care about his RTP penalty. Cousins couldn't breath out there.
  21. This team showed discipline today. DISCIPLINE!
  22. Pretty cool War Chant the Vike fans have.
  23. Are they moving Groy to RG? And if so, will he have an easier time staying on his feet?
  24. Josh missed a lot of reads last week. If he improves in that regard, and I suspect he will, that would make me feel better about things. If the defense looks more like they did in the second half of last week than the first, that would be good. Really, any sort of pleasant surprise would be OK. If they just cover the spread, I'll be pleased. Is a 16 point, or less, differential too much to ask for?
