Out of curiosity, who do you think looks better at RT, Nsecke, or Ford?
I think Nsekhe looks much better, but I understand, and agree with McD playing Ford a lot. I think he needs to develop. But, I like seeing Nsekhe out there when the game is on the line. JMO.
I'm going to go back and rewatch the condensed game, but I feel like Nsekhe/Ford looked pretty good. I'll be honest, though, I'm not even sure when it was that Feliciano went out!
Sure. But, in terms of the discussion I was having with KtD, which is greater, the difference between PR, and KR, or the difference between PR, and safety? And, to reiterate my other point: Hyde is too valuable to be subbing as the PR!!!
I think it's worth noting how well the Bills have been playing in terms of penalties. I forget what the stat was, but there have been a lot more holding penalties, league wide, in the first few weeks of the season, as a result of a decided emphasis (supported by owners) on holding calls. And, for once, the Bills have not been shooting themselves in the feet with stupid penalties. This team looks disciplined.
I posted that observation right after that play. If he keeps it up, opposing D's will need to account for that. It takes more than one backfield defender to take that guy down!
Not sure that I agree that Perry is any worse than Yeldon as a RB. But, if nothing else, I would MUCH rather have seen Perry out there returning punts than Hyde. Hyde is too valuable to put into that position, IMO. I was holding my breath every time he didn't wave it off (which I think was maybe only twice?)
Let's hear it for Knox! Gets his first touchdown, finally!
Also, he looked absolutely Gronk-esque on that one catch, and carry. If he keeps it up, opposing defenses will have to put double coverage on him, downfield. A single defender will have trouble getting this guy down.
This is true. But, I think the combo of Gore/Motor/Yeldon is a pretty good trio-- Yeldon for his receiving ability. Kinda wish we had gone with Perry over Yeldon, though.
Totally sucks, and I hope it's not serious, and doesn't put him out for long. That being said, as hypothesized by many on this site, the combination of Nsekhe RT/Ford RG worked pretty damned well.
And why would teams worry about manipulating their cap space if it wasn't a concern? The bottom line is that cap space restricts the amount of assets a team can acquire. If you don't think that's a worry for teams that don't have a lot of cap space, manipulations notwithstanding, then ColoradoBills fan is right-- you don't understand football finances.
He could partner with Vontae Davis, and open up a string of aromatherapy wellness spas (just as long as mental wellness wasn't part of the curriculum).
I think this video really highlights the biggest problem with Zay: His limited catch radius. One of the misses in the end zone, and the ball that was thrown slightly behind him would have been caught by a WR with a larger radius. And, two of his catches would have been caught without having to fall down to secure them, giving a better receiver a chance at YAC. That is my honest opinion, although I admit that my opinion has become colored with frustration.
