  1. I went onto a Pats* fan forum to see what they had to say about this incident, fully expecting them to call out poor fan behavior, and show some empathy for Mahomes' girlfriend. And son, was I wrong. http://patriotsfans.freeforums.net/thread/9136/patrick-mahomes-gf-tching-pats
  2. Landry, and Edelman are definitely my top two. But, also Derek Carr. Can't stand that guy.
  3. Also, regarding "why the Bengals?," really the question would be, "why not the Bengals?" It would be an odd set of circumstances if, after the entire season, the Bengals were the only team they spied on. If they've been caught in week 14, they've been doing it all season. And, as bad as the Bengals are, it isn't a meaningless, December game. There are many implications for the Pats* in this game, and the will leave no stone unturned.
  4. Apparently, the Pats* disagree with you. From their own statement: "WE understand and acknowledge that our video crew, which included independent contractors who shot the video, unknowingly violated league policy by filming the field and sideline from the press box."
  5. I was at the last two Bills games in Los Angeles, @ Rams in '16, and @ Chargers in '17. Both opposing teams' fans were very polite. And intimidated. There were lots of us.
  6. I'm a big Duke Williams fan, but I don't think he's that guy either, although I do think he can make catches that no one else on the Bills can. That being said, there wasn't a single player on our offense yesterday that the Ravens were uncomfortable putting single coverage on. I suspect they might have felt the need to double-cover Duke in the red zone. But, your point is well taken. We need a true playmaker, whether that is WR, TE, or even RB. And, I take the QB out of that equation. It can't all be on Josh.
  7. The "big playmaker" That we all know is missing from this O.
  8. Ya know, the thing is.... nothing in this game surprised me. We all knew the flaws in the offense. We can all be proud of the defense. And, we can all be hopeful, and confident that we are moving in the right direction. On to Pittsburgh.
  9. After how the Dolphins played today, I can't imagine the Pats* losing to them at home. Andy Dalton is back starting, isn't he? How much would Bills Mafia donate to his charity if he beat the Pats*?
  10. Actually, I just watched the Dolphins/Jets game on Gamepass, and... yeesh... the Dolphins are bad. Ryan Fitzpatrick is carrying that team, and that is the weirdest thing I have written in a while. Their RBs managed just 53 yards in 19 carries. Fitz was their leading rusher with seven carries for 65 yards, and that is the second weirdest thing I have written in a while. And, he threw 21/37 for 245 yards, but nobody could get it into the end zone. They scored 21 points on field goals only. And, their defensive secondary is a joke. Brady* could throw left-handed and pick them apart.
  11. The Pats* were just held to 16 points by a worse defense than the one that just held us to 17. Jus sayin'...
  12. From what I have read, it goes: 1) Head to head 2) Division 3) Common opponents 4) Conference wins Not sure where we stand with common opponents.
  13. Were that the case, I assume he would be on the injury report.
  14. I don't know... It seemed a little cheap-shot to me at the time, but on the other hand... anything that makes the game a little less predictable (other than officiating consistency) may not be a bad thing.
  15. Beasley also couldn't get separation today-- something he is also good at. Neither could Smoke, or Motor, or McK. The Ravens played tight, tight coverage today. That's why I kept thinking of Duke-- big, strong, and an ability to fight in tight coverage and come down with the ball. That is his wheelhouse. Ya hear me @GunnerBill!
  16. There's plenty of tape on Duke Williams to know his strengths, and weaknesses. Reliable hands are surely one of his strengths. But, it's pretty weird to say that he won't be able to catch a fast ball because he is tall.
  17. I agree. I believe they missed holds on our guys, as well. I don't think they had any particular bias. I also think they tend to "let the guys play," so to speak, during nationally televised games.
  18. These guys were awful. I don't even pay attention to this sort of thing, but even I saw a few holds they missed. And the missed PI was ridiculous. I think McD should have challenged, but it does seem that the league has been loath to overturn the PI calls.
  19. Duke Williams catches everything thrown his direction.
  20. Is it me, or did the refs miss a lot of holding calls today? (not to mention that obvious PI call?)
  21. We may have limited Jackson better than any team in their current winning streak-- remember that it was pouring rain vs. the 49ers. Our defense is amazing. On that note: Star, White, Shaq, Lorax, Hughs, Oliver, Edmunds all had great games today.
  22. No one should be freaking out about this loss. It highlighted some of our known weaknesses on offense: Pass protection, lack of a playmaker, Knox's inexperience, dropped passes, WRs getting separation, Allen still progressing, no long ball, etc, etc... But, the bottom line is that we just lost to the best team in the NFL, and did exactly one FG worse than the 49ers. And, we fought to the last play.
  23. I agree, too. I wouldn't even bother replying on the other "disgusting offensive effort" thread. This team made plenty of mistakes to be sure. But, they fought to the last play.
