If Maroon wanted to "win" so bad, he should have kept the starters in for a series longer like the Giants did. On the highlights they show Eli leading a scoring drive but never mention that it was against our 2nd string defense. As far as Marrone goes with the media, my take on it goes both ways. I like that he's upset cuz it shows frustration and emotion we haven't seen from recent Bills coaches, but on the flipside it shows immaturity and unprofessionalism (don't know if that's a word). It's a tough one to decipher because, how can you get mad at a guy for giving a stupid answer to a stupid question?

Well, you can't cut Thad without having another QB on the roster, so the answer to the OP's title question is an obvious no. If you get a decent backup to replace him? Sure. Side note: Tom Coughlin is an A hole for playing his starters against our 2nd stringers.

I've been watching the training camp highlights and it looks like EJ isn't afraid to throw the ball down field this year. Now is that because he knows it's not a real game that counts? I sure hope not. Love his character as a young man. Let's go EJ...

Are we liking the Watkins pick more and more now? I know I am. I don't care that the pads are not on yet. People thought EJ brought a certain "presence" while entering a room? Watkins just gives me that "feeling" that it's going to be a great season. Or maybe I ate too much I don't know. Either way I'm happy. I'm happy when my stomach's full and I'm happy that we got Watkins. EJ please get this guy the ball!

I didn't vote but if I did, I would give him a B and retain him at his current position. The reason he gets a B is because when he talks on the mic, every time he says words that have the letter S in it, he sounds like he's whistling and it's starting to annoy me...

All of that is understood well and is fine and dandy. Point made, point gotten. But, what does is cost us to just invite the kid to camp and have a look see? Work him out, bring him to camp and get a closer look ourselves. Or any other team also. I believe in people changing in an instant. If something so life changing happens to someone, it can change their outlook from that moment on. Maybe not being drafted or even picked up as an UDFA was that moment for this kid. But you'll never know til you bring him in.

What gets under my skin is when you scroll down, it shows a tweet from Chip Kelly saying, "arguably the best athlete in the country" yet you don't draft him. I say to that, don't tweet at all. I been saying I liked this kid before the draft and I really hope we give him a try (if he hasn't already been invited to camp by another team). Come on Whaley, bring this kid in and I promise I won't speak bad about anything you do for at least a year.

Whaley did his job almost PERFECT. The free agency was great IMO and the offseason is still on and going as we traded a draft pick next year for Bryce Brown (who after reading up on and watched videos on I'm very excited about). Whaley did what we needed him to do and that's make the team better, help EJ out by protecting him and giving him better weapons and defend the run better. This team is EJ's (to win or lose).

I can't wait for the home opener. I will be there. It will be the first game I go to where I don't drink any alcohol. I wonder if I'll enjoy the experience the same. Here's to getting drunk off of TD's.

They look like they were having lots of fun after making the picks. I hope their excitement comes true to light especially with the 1st three picks cuz those are positions we NEED filled right away. Watkins I'm not worried about. If the line can give EJ time and EJ gets better, we're definitely a team to watch for offensively.
