Even if all the starters play on offense, how is it any good if they're playing against 2nd stringers? How is that beneficial at all? We obviously know they can score touchdowns against 2nd stringers. What we also know is they are YET to score a TD against the 1st string defense of our opponent.

There's no way to be positive until the season starts and we start winning. I'm all alone in my household now (as far as rooting for the Bills). I tried putting my GF onto liking my team and she liked it at first (especially the year we beat NE and even cried) but she dont even watch games with me anymore. She says it's too painful and to just save the games on the DVR if we win so she can watch later. It also didn't help that when we went to MetLife stadium for the season opener 2 years ago I believe, we had to leave the stadium in the 3rd quarter cuz it was THAT bad... We're going to the home opener at the Ralph this year and if we have a decent record leading up to the TNF game in Miami, I plan on going to Miami with her to watch the game also. Here's to my DVR being a little more full this year and my bank account a little shorter. Wait. Is that positivity?

It's kind of like a "go with the devil you know" situation a little bit. Palmer clearly isn't starter material based on his moving around the league (and even playing arena football for a year) and doesn't have any NFL stats or game tape to show that he CAN even be good. But neither does Thad. But my choice would still be Palmer because, I'm not planning on him being the starter anyway and since Thad was looking the way he did all summer, a look at someone else is good by me. Plus, I'm sure he's picked up something (football knowledge not physical attributes) from his brother Carson. Plus his name is Jordan. I mean come on. Jordan!

I agree with your last sentence yet I understand. If you worked at a Nissan car dealership for 10 plus years selling cars, I'd expect you to have some knowledge (well not some but a great deal of knowledge) about Nissans.
