Can I get a "windy", Wendy?

A bug in your wine isn't ironic. Neither is this injury. Both are just crap luck (with one being measurably worse than the other).

Tell me about it. Got drunk one time and intended to have sex with my wife. Turned out to be her sister.

An olive beach for those that follow the science…

An olive beach? Sounds simultaneously delicious and relaxing. I'll bring the vermouth. -
Honestly it's possible. Two very good friends (one of whom I consider to be "ultra" liberal) told me last night that they voted but left the first column for president blank. Said they hated Trump but couldn't vote for Harris in good conscience. Miniscule sample, but I'd be willing to bet that scenario is playing out across the country in non-trivial numbers.

I won't say likely at this point, not just yet. Data is still limited and the major population centers aren't reporting yet. -
Election Day/Week/Month 2024 Results

They stuck their heads in the sand and pretended people cared about the issue they wanted them to care about. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. -
Election Day/Week/Month 2024 Results

The Democrats ***** up so badly on the border/immigration and no one trusts them on the economy either. As much of a shitheel as Trump is, it shouldn't be a surprise that he may win. -
Today there were a lot of issues with the machines in Orchard Park as well. I'm not trying to add to any conspiracy theories, but it was notable that a lot of the scans weren't initially going through. I usually vote pretty early when it's not too crowded, although today it was crowded. So perhaps it was just the normal amount of scanning machines rejecting due to erroneous marks and the sample size was bigger today. The poll workers did however give new ballots to those having issues, so there didn't seem to be anything untoward.

Can someone tell me how shins count again? -
My prediction: Harris wins popular and electoral, and we see a mostly peaceful transition.

Sleep walking through the first half again. -
Every one of you, regardless of political affiliation should care about this. It's an absolutely egregious example of government overreach. Yeah this time it was just a squirrel. But remember once it was illegal to be gay too (or at least engage in what may have been loosely defined as *****). Given the same logic, it would have been okay to bust into a gay dude's house and rough him up. It's using some statute or codified law to abuse people. It's anathema to what our constitution and country is about.
