  1. I mean, I get it. The government uses way too much paper at all levels (from municipalities all the way to D.C.) and yes they rely on antiquated and woefully inefficient processes, but with all that being said this claim doesn't really hold water for me. Iron Mountain is just a repository where these documents go to live and in most cases never seen again. No one is processing retirement paperwork down there, and it's incredibly unlikely that anyone has to go down there to retrieve something in order to effectuate someone's retirement.
  2. Are you literally just discovering Iron Mountain?
  3. Now that they are going to turn their sights on the Pentagon, I wonder if the outrage will come down a bit.
  4. Your implications are pretty clear. You're no different than those posting memes about Nazi's experimenting on Jewish prisoners with lethal injections, comparing that to deporting illegal immigrants that are rife on Facebook these days. It's silly.
  5. Yeah being deported and sent back to your home country= being rounded up in your own country and gassed with zyclon B.
  6. Like I said, not advocating for less, it's more of a knee-jeek reaction like "who the hell could possibly not know this?".
  7. I want to be clear that I'm not opposed to continued awareness. I just take exception to the fact that the commercials always seem to imply that no one has ever heard of it. Like it's something we discovered over the weekend. It's just a bit of an offense to my sensibilities. I'm not advocating for less, just want to be clear about that.
  8. I like boobs and I want to make sure people have access to preventative medicine including cancer screening. But with that being said, is there any one with a television who isn't aware of breast cancer? I don't really take exception to these ads, but I'm moderately offended by the notion that there isn't enough awareness.
  9. Considering all the posts I'm seeing these people put up about concentration camps and how the people are "coming for them" I can see why they are freaking out. I mean it's all complete nonsense, but to the true believers it looks like the sky is falling.
  10. True. I also don't doubt we'd find a way to lose to them in the following year. Funny because the wife and I were just having that discussion the other day about who was the fifth team in the NFC East back in the day. Couldn't for the life of us. Remember it.
  11. My biggest fear this season was facing the Iggles in the SB. It would have given us the chance to do a very "Bills" thing - suffer a defeat in the super bowl to every single NFC East team.
  12. Big Balls is WNY's #1 AC/DC tribute band.
  13. One needn't be liberal to understand how insane this is to even openly suggest.
  14. Wrong about what? I never cited any specific instance. One that comes to mind was the Moroccan boondoggle where they spent several million on pottery classes. There were some initial reports that the total amount spent was far greater than that, but that's not the point. Waste is waste. You'll note that I've not said anything about completely dismantling it. But pausing non-critical, Non-Life-Threatening funding seems like a reasonable idea while the organization and its spending is audited. Opposition to that seems a little pig-headed. You seem more worried about being "right" in a forum than you do about how we may be wasting money.
  15. Which specific instance are you referring to? Tons of examples with lots of exaggerated ones too. We can go tit for tat and split hairs over whether someone wasted 40 million or 4, but it doesn't excuse it.
  16. Right, some of us dislike grift, waste, and corruption. You must be the the other guy.
  17. Possibly because of the situation with his own kid. He's also (recently) made remarks about people who are unwilling to use someone's preferred pronouns or just kind of being jerks. You can treat people well and still disagree with the transgender ideology. I also think he's a bit of a douche, so don't take this as a defense of him. Anyone who pays people to level up their Diablo 4 characters just so they can have a spot on a leaderboard has deeper issues.
  18. Has his position relative to letting consenting adults live their lives how they want changed measurably?
  19. 48.2 and gaining... I wonder if (when) The US and Canada come to an agreement later today just like the US and Mexico just did 40 minutes ago if we'll see the market springboard.
  20. Not a peep on the national news so far about this. I stand corrected; NBC nightly had a spot.
  21. We have one elite player, an above average RB and a great offensive line. You could rip and replace just about any other position on the team and I don't think it makes a measurable difference. That's a problem and won't let us a Superbowl.
  22. WGRZ just had an interview with some immigration attorney talking anyhow one of her clients, who is here legally, isn't a criminal, and is going through the process correctly, was upset and very concerned about being deported. Hmmm - whose *****in fault is that? Could it be the media who keeps leaving out the world "illegal" in all of their disingenuous reporting?
  23. I'll be there with that group, should be an awesome tailgate and hotel takeover!
