  1. I guess the interesting question would be, was he a total douche before his motorcycle accident? If you had a host of people lining up to say "BR was the nicest, most courteous person I've ever met and that changed after his wreck" I'd say there could be some merit to the notion that he suffered some amount of brain damage which caused a personality change.
  2. Isn't that why we have PPP?
  3. This. Probably what angered me most last year was a security guard and an Erie county Sheriff being total dickwads about making sure people literally had the tips of their toes inside the line while at the same time they were smoking outside of the lines. People will put up with a lot of BS, but when you are flagrantly breaking the same rule you are attempting to enforce it tends to get folks a bit riled up.
  4. Quite a bit different at the Ralph. You aren't allowed to smoke inside the stadium at all, and the smoking areas are fairly well away from the flow of pedestrian traffic.
  5. Last year at a game, I spoke with one of the a$$hats herding people into the the designated smoking area which was a tiny yellow box spraypainted on the ground. He mentioned that this year the Ralph may go 100% smoke free. Has anyone else heard this?
  6. So back on topic: Anyone think a treson charge could stick?
  7. Personally, I don't know why you guys are engaging such an obvious fraud. We all know the Irish have no souls...
  8. If Tim were alive today he'd probably be saying "Help, Help let me out of this box....". Awful I know, but someone had to say it.
  9. There goes the ol' submariner joke: Sub duty; 150 men go down, 75 couples come back up.
  10. For those not into walk-a-thons, etc, you can always donate to the local pet food pantry as well. And congrats on joining the pooch club Fez!
  11. I was gonna take a stab at a joke, but you beat me to it...
  12. Link good sir? nevermind.... this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFcecMcS6bA&feature=fvw
  13. I was at SUNY Fredonia when that happened. IIRC she even did their dishes the next day, which was one of the things that got those kids off the hook. What rape victim sticks around the day after and cleans your kitchen?
  14. Sorry to hear that Dean.
  15. Sorry to hear that.
  16. Simply put, her antics and rants could be easily misconstrued by the tin-foil hat brigade as a reason to not answer the census at all. To be fair, I'm not sure if the completeness of responses has any effect on the count and it subsequent effects on funding, etc.
  17. For it to be partisan rhetoric, one would have to think that some level of her constituency would believe such a thing, no? Is it such a leap to conclude that she might believe it as well? Just like with the knucklehead who may or may not have actually been worried about an island sinking, how are we to know what these people actually believe anymore? She may not be stupid, but it is certainly dumb for a congressperson to suggest their constituents shouldn't fill out the senate at a time when Minnesota could lose a seat or two in Congress if it were undercounted. Incidentally, she ceased her anti-census rhetoric when that came to light, so maybe she isn't a dummy after all.
  18. Ha! I don't have to prove squat to anyone on this forum, especially those who think the current changes to our nuclear policy represent some threat to our national security. You can continue to go through life thinking Palin and Bachman are not idiots. That doesn't really matter to me - unless you vote in Republican primaries!
  19. So being concerned about the Census being used to round us up for FEMA concentration camps isn't proof enough? Obviously either of them could try to fix a plugged in toaster with a butter knife and that wouldn't be enough to sway you as to their lack of intellect, so I'm not going to bother trying myself.
  20. I'm a registered Republican actually. But I see you are one of the folks so blinded by partisan politics, that any critique, no matter how valid, must be coming from the enemy. No wonder my party is in complete shambles. www.google.com Have fun.
  21. Gladly: She has encouraged her supporters to fill out as little of the 2010 Census forms as possible, believing that the information could be used to set up FEMA concentration camps. She is "anti-socialism" and yet her family farm has reaped over a quarter million in government subsidies (OK - maybe not dumb, but it sure makes her an !@#$). Sounds like a high priced welfare queen to me. I'm not going to dig all day and put up her numerous quotes that grossly misrepresent the Constitution or how she thinks God is on America's side, I'll let you do that if you are truly interested in learning about her. But trust me they are out there. If you choose to ignore them, that's your prerogative.
  22. Yes. I don't care if you support a position I don't agree with. You can still be an intelligent person. These two are clearly not. If you go back and read my post, you'll see that I said I had seen the quote, not watched the video, so without any reference or context it was difficult to determine if it was a metaphor or stupidity. You'll also note that I didn't completely discount either possibility, although I had a hard time believing he was that dumb. I'm certain Bachman and Palin are stupid, as I have a much larger body of their work with which I'm familiar, and therefore am able to draw a conclusion based upon mountains of evidence.
  23. Maybe she meant the hot air that she emits? Then again, at her age, that still might be considered a fossil fuel. On another note, you can call it partisan sniping all you want, but Palin and Bachman are !@#$ing retarded.
