  1. Bzzzzzt, wrong. Old Ralphie would be spending that $120 on at most a shirt, maybe just a tie....
  2. Nah, they're headed across the Peace Bridge to partake in some...ahem...Canadian Culture....they need someplace with private...er, conference rooms...
  3. I thought you were just saying you were non-violent...?
  4. Sorry, it's looking for a password. Can you give me your paypal password too? I'll send the money once I get it.

  6. Happy Birthday! Does this make you OGTTwelve now? Crank it up!
  7. Do you mean there aren't scientists right now at Los Alamos talking about a phenomena sighted near "Cuddle Bunny," and a potential planet encircling "Schmookie Poo?"
  8. ...and all those things are what they list as the caveats....
  9. Can't find that place listed on any of the reseller review sites over in the consumer forum (have both bizrate and resellerratings in a pinned thread for consumer help over there...), and I can see what you mean about the price. Even the standard OEM versions are twice as much using a pricegrabber search. Unless you have $50 to burn, I'd say let the buyer beware....
  10. Nahh, he's living in the revitalized Lafayette St area. Of course that could lead to an injury trying to practice while hungover.
  11. Nope. After the Super Bowl, the standings, stats, etc are all reset. Books are closed on the year. Winner for this year is decided. Pro Bowl is an exhibition game. If the Pro Bowl performance is actually factored into a player's stats for the year, then it might be part of the year. And RJ didn't even bother renting an apartment. He stayed at a hotel. That's what people were getting on him about. Losman? He's actually living in downtown Buffalo. Not a lot of players you can say that about....
  12. Though our season ended 1/2, the official NFL off-season didn't start until the Super Bowl was over. The other spin is that he's the first Bill that doesn't winter in Buffalo to show up....
  13. "dumb" a beer? What, does she have a curse for turning beer to Budweiser?
  14. Holy Rockin' Recursions Batman! Every time I click "right here," I come back right here.... Nice to know the merge feature actually works.
  15. March 22, 1989. According to the News article I linked above, the trainers actually had their hands inside his neck trying to stem the bleeding.
  16. Per the bio here: http://hockeygoalies.org/bio/malarchuk.html (1st result typing Malarchuk into google), severed jugular. A good story from the Buffalo News here: http://www.emkeonline.com/malarchukbuffnews.html About not only the accident but his struggles....
  17. Yeah, I had to read that last name twice...my brain put an extra "h" in there the first time.
  18. Maybe he's been hanging around the other boards....
  19. I believe you've now realized that, in order to capture video from external sources, there's not only a software component but a hardware component. There needs to be some sort of video/"TV Tuner" input in order to make the magic happen. Either it would be an S-video connection (best for optimal image quality from VHS) an RCA plug (usually colored yellow), or, if it has a TV Tuner, a coax input. If you don't have either on the computer, you'll have to go buy a video capture card. What model Pavilion?
  20. Why is it that I can picture you with a whole list of "This is why I drink before I...." reasons? "....this is why I drink before I go to bed." "....this is why I drink before I eat dinner." "....this is why I drink before Lost comes on." "....this is why I drink before 3rd down."
  21. I've seen more ignorant statements made here, so it's tough not to take it seriously. Next time, use the "Darin Smiley: "
  22. Do you really think he'd be able to recover from cross-winds like that if he were drunk?
  23. Well, actually Cleese did, and it caused quite a stir among the other Pythons, as it was the first they had heard of it. I kept up with Pythonline at the time, when some of the Pythons actually participated in the forums (Idle in particular) and that was an...interesting time.... Their performance at the Aspen Comedy Festival (complete with Graham's urn) is available on their Monty Python: Live box.
  24. Yes, that would.
  25. Many do. My old Denon that I have doesn't do composite video, but does S-Vid and RCA. The new ones do composite...
