If WE were scared of Miami... Then why did Bills beat New England? In hope that the Jets and Steelers won? 😆 We would have just lost to Pats* if Bills were scared! That would have eliminated the Dolphins! Pats* and Jets (have Jets not been eliminated) have better defenses. Selah was right... He said after 2nd game "we will see the Bills again this year." He was right about it being a Divison team. We actually got the best draw. Least scariest. AND the way Steelers D has been playing lately, not sure I want to see them... A Tomlin led team in playoffs. Basically, Bills beat Tua "twice." The game down in Miami was a fluke because of the heat stroke emergency only our team was suffering from. AND was Poyer-less in Miami... -
WWTDD? I mean Joe Biden is currently POTUS... How hard would it have been for Joe's attorneys to just give him the documents. I mean, he's still POTUS and still has security clearance. Stick them back into the fold. No doubt that's what The Donald would have done. At least there's transparency with Biden.

Awesome I'd love a Sabres ticket on my birthday too. 😉 February 11th is the day God blessed upon this world!😊 Years ago... My sister got me tickets to a Nordiques game... At the Aud, on my birthday... Right behind the benchs. She worked at the Aud Club at the time.

Well... Maybe the League saw the Bengals were playing dirty with the attempted Allen leg roll and Johnson head ram... ...The Hamlin/Higgins play was clean... BUT Higgins did bury his helmet into Hamlin's chest. After all the animosity the Bengals were feeling because they are defending AFC Champs and Bills were stealing their media thunder BEFORE the Hamlin play... I would say Karma caught up with them. Cincy did redeem themselves the way they handled the Hamlin near death... Well basically death, he was brought back from the dead. There you guys go again... Didn't karma catch up with you before?

I think CPR is every year? Standard First Aid is 3. Through the years CPR has changed so much... Used to be so technical, endless practice on "Resusci Anne".. Now it's basically just get compressions and air in and hope for the AED... All new cars should have AEDs in trunk, etc...

Not sure... We got like a 52" Samsung Plasma circa 2010. YET... The screen went out about a year in and had to be replaced under warranty... Tech came in and changed the screen right in the house. Maybe I transported the original wrong? Anyway... Still going strong 13 years later.

Here's the Chuck Hughes game... Where they couldn't revive him. The tragedy begins at 8:30. An AED probably would have saved his life. 1971: Buffalo connection with Chuck Hughes, from Wiki: "Hughes had suffered an injury in an August 1971 preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, which led to him collapsing in the locker room. He was hospitalized, but doctors were unable to diagnose what was wrong (suspecting a spleen injury) and he was released, despite never fully recovering. Hughes, who would suffer from what he believed was acid reflux and other maladies for the remaining two months of his life, insisted on continuing to play, saying that the pain he was experiencing was "not that bad." "His widow filed a $21.5 million malpractice lawsuit against Henry Ford Hospital in 1972 for not diagnosing his condition after the Bills game. The lawsuit was settled on October 3, 1974, for an undisclosed amount of money." That's weird...Bills connection... He was 28 and having heart issues!

Is the trauma with players coming from the ones that formed a circle around the incident? They saw the paramedics bring a dead player back to life. Lot more Bills formed that human wall (to keep the cameras away)... So they are affected more. Just judging the reaction of players like Allen... They seen the whole deal... And it's never pretty. A bit different from an accident. These players are then expected to go in and possibly cause the same thing again where in an accident, they are not expected to induce this kinda *****... Lot easier for the Bengals players because many were on that circle around Damar...

What if the Bills refuse to play the Patriots?
ExiledInIllinois replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is probably why the Bills team is so stunned. They were the wall around Damar. Nobody else could see what was going on... He was surely going to be a dead man had they not brought him back to life! Why... They couldn't play... -

This is NOT the first time a player died on the field. Actually, Damar would have died had they not brought him back with treatment and modern technology. Damar was no doubt saved by the AED. Happened in 1971, Bears/Lions game... Lions player, Chuck Hughes, was taken off field on stretcher... They say he died later, but he probably died right there like Damar would have without modern emergency attention... https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/widow-of-nfl-player-who-died-on-field-very-emotional-over-damar-hamlins-collapse/ar-AA15Y5Z6 "It was a similar scene to when Sharon's husband, who was a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, collapsed on the field on Oct. 24, 1971 during a home game against the Chicago Bears. Chuck had suffered a fatal heart attack due to a blood clot that was dislodged after he was tackled. He is the only NFL player to ever die on the field." "During the 1971 game, the Lions were down 28-23 and Chuck had just caught his first pass that season. He was tackled. Then, several plays later, with 62 seconds left, he fell to the ground while clutching his chest. After multiple attempts, the medical team could not resuscitate him. The stunned crowd watched as his body was wheeled off in a stretcher."
