  1. Sorry buddy, my wife and I will say a prayer for him. May he rest in peace.
  2. Not knowing the whole situation, but from reading the recent threads, I don't think NBF cried because he retired, it was the passion of seeing a legend who he looked up to give it one final go. If that's the case, then call me names for crying when Steve Tasker played and got tossed out of his final game because I cried like a baby.
  3. I don't know how extreme Stars Wars is because i've never seen an episode, but despite popular belief, I always think it's a bad idea to shelter kids from certain things because when it comes time when they are on their own and must face the real world, they usually don't know how to handle it and become out of control.
  4. Wait until he finds out what happened to the Twin Towers!
  5. I still have a feeling Campbell/Euhus will be ready in time for the season.
  6. i'm just gonna look for a jersey of one of the old Bills, Tasker, Kelly, Bruce, Thurman, Reed, Ect. Those things will never expire.
  7. "No kicker, McGahee's health, Travis, new inexperienced qb, no offensive line no defensive line and no money to help ANY OF IT" Wow, does Buffalo even have a team anymore? Apparently they went bankrupt and have no players left.

  9. You're only forgetting one thing, Travis Henry doesn't want to be here and will sit out if he is in September, Anthony Thomas probably would concider it a privilage to still be in the NFL. I'd take a subpar RB over a disgruntled RB who doesn't want to play anyday.
  10. Here's a great article on him. One quote that stands out that can make you like this guy instantly.. "Obviously, it would be exciting to be drafted, but I am not banking on it," he said. "I'm one of those guys who would play for free if they let me. I just want to get into a camp and show what I can do." http://www.boston.com/sports/football/arti...s_at_nfl_draft/
  11. That's the first time i've ever seen someone's neck bigger than their head
  12. Good, hope it gets done, then Henry can ride the bench if he's still in Buffalo in September. two 1,000 yard seasons in 4 years. His durability is a concern, but we already have a star RB on the team, AT would make a pretty solid backup. He should come pretty cheap too.
  13. I'll second that, I don't know if I can stand seeing another 11 on a Bills jersey again.
  14. all good points, but I don't see basic mechanics as something that would scare a team off because every single rookie to enter the NFL needs to adjust mechanics a bit to adjust to a different game. What if this was said about a QB..... "He doesn't throw a particularly great deep ball, is not very mobile. He seems to have good pocket presence, but at times doesn't appear to see the blitz coming." "Deep throws lack speed and must improve his accuracy down the field. Lacks the quick set up or ability to immediately get the ball off on a three-step drop. Does not display pinpoint pass placement coming out of college." "Not known for his deep ball and takes too many sacks. Definelty not fast by any means and will be strictly a pocket passer." Does that sound like a top 10 pick? Those are all scouting reports of Eli Manning.
  15. Actually, his arm strength is probably JP's greatest skill right behind his athletic ability to run. He was concidered by many to have the strongest arm, and a more accurate deep ball than any other QB in last years class. The only reason JP was not a top 10 pick was because he came from a not so great football program at Tulane, and JP supposely has an attitude that rubs people the wrong way.
  16. haha, wow, constantine going home! Anyone else's wives bitching right about now?
  17. Awesome video for the sports fan... http://www.netexpress.net/~sblum/montage.wmv
  18. I give the Bills an "F", as in FUG all the naysayers. After reading the boards over the past weekend, you'd think we drafted the 7 dwarfs. Let's forget the fact that these guys were all one of the best players and team leaders on their teams playing major College Football.
  19. You might be able to find it locally around WNY for cheaper, but here it is at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/188...6216988-9214465
  20. Love or hate Doug Flutie, he made the 98 season the most exciting since the Super Bowl era. That was the first time i've ever seen a high school style offense work in the NFL.
  21. I heard a FFL football radio show a few days ago that said in most league drafts(Yes, some leagues have drafts this early), Willis is going 4th or 5th overall.
  22. Sounds like a hell of a special teams player.
  23. Welcome back buddy, glad to see you made it home ok. Get some rest.
  24. I broke my glove in my oiling it down, and putting a baseball in the pocket, and placing it under my matress for a couple nights.
