  1. Good game, but I can't help but wonder if the world league was played in the US, would it be more popular? Most Americans don't seem to take a liking in sports going on overseas, because no team is concidered a home team, but I think if these teams were like farm AAA NFL teams playing in the US, the fan base would be alot higher.
  2. NCAA Football NFL Football NHL Hockey NCAA Baseball NBA Basketball NCAA Basketball The rest is just wasting time
  3. I moved in with my GF who is now my wife when I was 20 y/o, five years later we just made our 3 year wedding anniversary in April. I learned quickly that alot of things change after you move in. You'll have your personal possessions like TV's, computers, ect., but for the most part, everything is "ours" now. Also personal space is a must. If you two think moving in with each other means you'll get closer, you're wrong, you never appreciate freedom until you lost it. So give each other some free time to do hobbies, ect.
  4. I grew up on fried bologna sandwiches from my grandma before I even knew it was a WNY classic.
  5. My job sucks because I know more about the business than all my managers and supervisors except one. I am crossed trained to work in any department, where some of my managers who get paid twice as much wouldn't know the first thing about. The only reason they are ahead of me is because our district manager is a dick and believes that "years in the business" is more important than "knowledge". The last supervisor position that was open, everyone pretty much assumed I had it because of my credentials, but I was overlooked by the DM for someone with 3 more years exp. who's attitude sucks and doesn't know anything. It's frusterating having to take orders from someone you have to teach various things to. It sucks, but the pay is not bad. I just tell myself that one day someone will take note and these people will be working for me one day.
  6. We haven't won schitt with them, so it's time to rebuild this team around JP, McGahee, and Evans.
  7. I'm actually hoping he takes about a 2 week break from it all before camp to ease his mind a bit and let the information sink in. Like every college student, if you study way too much, you'll be so worn out by the time the test comes that your mind will be running 150 mph and you're more likely to forget some things. February was a long time ago, a 2 week break will only help.
  8. other than the blue color, they look nothing alike.
  9. He's got bad luck with jersey's I see. For the sake of the Bills, please don't buy him a Takeo jersey!
  10. I wish they were brave enough to come out in the old Oilers uniforms, that would fire up crowd. If we have a road game in these, if not SD, I hope it's @ Tampa with them wearing those God awful orange uni's.
  11. The only difference I see is the numbers are on the shoulders on the throwbacks, but on the sleeves on the original. Which is cool with me because I think it looks even better concidering the current uniforms sleeves aren't as long as the old uniforms.
  12. My God those are friggin awesome. As much as I love the new look, I would be pumped if we went back to these permanently.
  13. Nice report Steve. Is your friend from Texas or something? No one pronounces it "Lous-man" unless you are using some kinda Texas accent. Failure definitely is not an option for JP, I really think this guy will be the real deal.
  14. I agree. It sounds fun, but not for that kind of money. I'm not one to go "ooooohhh and ahhhhhh" when it comes to things like this. They are only human like us. I don't expect any Bills players to pay $800 to take a tour of my job and watch me work.
  15. Oh Geez, why does everything on this board have to turn into a political debate. Shaq is a guy who has never been in trouble, and has always done things for the goodness of heart, he doesn't need to do these things to get good PR, his game already does that for him. Why can't some just see that he just did something great out of respect for a man he admired, and just leave it at that!
  16. FYI, the Mikan family accepted Shaq's offer... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2005...tory?id=2075294

  18. Shaq is definitely in a very small class in a league full of thugs. Right now during is off time, he's helping police track down children sexual predators on the internet. Here's an article. http://www.lsusports.net/index.cfm?md=news...667&category=MB
  19. That's friggin awesome, let's hope the white helmet is worn with them.
  20. There is nothing a on DTV that would make me give up my digital cable, not even Sunday Ticket. Wwovince has been trying to convince me for 3 years now, but it isn't working.
  21. Great pics Rich, looks like a great time. Just wish I didn't feel like I just got through looking at a Steelers merchandise catalog! Oh well, going back to staring at picture #2.
  22. If Price were to return as #3, our WR group would be unmatched by anyone in the league. It would be pretty interesting, but i'd rather the Bills use the money to lock up WM, NC, or find a better backup to WM.
  23. Nah, being nice doesn't work with punk teenagers. I once bumped this kid who was walking in the middle of my lane in a small neighborhood expecting me to swerve my car out of his way for his convenience. This was after honking the horn a couple times. I'm just going by what HelloNewman said in his post. The kids were playing games with him, and apparently thought it was funny. It would have probably been hilarious to them had a vehicle came on and hit HN head on. A little attitude adjustment wouldn't have hurt.
