  1. I wouldn't rush him back, i'd handle it just like the McGahee injury. Besides, I think Euhus is gonna prove to be a steal for us when he's back, his hands are as good as any WR's we have.
  2. You got em, hope everything turns out good and you get well soon.
  3. The dog is in the way, I can't see the child. j/k Congrats from another dog lover. He's a handsome little fella. Here is my little girl.... http://www.dogster.com/?64505
  4. I love that quote, that pretty much says it all about his attitude.
  5. Yeah, I noticed that thats the main reason people are complaining, because people cheese online. Alot of complaints I read were direct snap the whole game to the RB, putting offensive players on defense and vice versa, throwing hail mary bombs all game. I mean if they want to bombs away, well then let's bomb away baby, but it doesn't make for a fun game. Last season I played this guy who was USC and he took Leinhart out and put his best CB at QB and just ran the ball all game. It's not fun playing anyone online unless you know the person. I had some great games online with my cousins and friends, but I refuse to play anyone I don't know, atleast not more than once.
  6. Living only an hour away from Tulane, and seeing more of the Greenies than I care to recall, I can assure you, every one of those clips were JP throwing the ball.
  7. Ok man, no problem, you'll need the practice time anyways! j/k
  8. I'd love to see Verba signed. He's 32, but I really think the goal this season is to keep JP Losman alive so he can get some game experience, where we can be a serious contender for the next couple years. Verba will help out the cause from the LT position.
  9. I'm available pretty much the same times. I work early mornings during the weekdays, so nights are perfect. If you read this message today(Sunday), how about logging on tonight at 7pm? I'll look for you if this is a good time.
  10. As much as I love the Bills and the NFL, I much prefer college football for a couple reasons..... 1) Longer and better rivalries Doesn't matter who you are, you have atleast one rival that goes way back to before the NFL was even thought of. Most of the NCAA rivalries have trophies, flags, ect that the school takes home with them. I enjoy watching rivalries face off from Michigan vs Ohio St., down to Army vs Navy, and all the way down to Southern vs Grambling. 2) Traditions You don't really see many traditions in the NFL that teams are known for. In NCAA you have all kind of traditions. 3) School Bands To me, nothing gets a crowd pumped up more than a band playing the school fight songs. Also in during timeouts and between plays, the band playing is alot better than hearing Jock Jams greatest hits like in the NFL. 4) Conference Championships I think it's great that the two best teams in some conferences get to face off for all the marbles. 5) More Bowls There are 119 division 1A teams, and lets face it, teams like North Texas, Army, La. Tech, and Buffalo will never win a National Championship. With all the bowls, it gives every team something to play for. Then you get in a bowl game, and you play for the championship of that bowl as if it were your own Superbowl. 6) Playing for fun 85% - 95% of NCAA players dont have a shot in hell at playing in the NFL, so these guys are not playing for contracts and signing bonuses, they are playing for the fun and love of the game. Unlike the NFL where money rules.
  11. A simple question, but list your reasons why you think one is better than the other....

  13. Wow, how did they ever catch him without running DNA tests?
  14. The best wings are the ones that are made with cajun spices!
  15. What a piece of trash that guy is.
  16. For those who want to see a tradition at Tiger Stadium, here is a great video link of the Golden Band from Tiger Land marching down the hill towards Tiger Stadium during pregame. http://lsumaryland.org/LSU%20BAND.WMV
  17. Hey man, when is the best time to find you online? I haven't signed up on 06 online yet, but I have lots of free time tonight if you're interested in a game, let me know a good time to find you. EDIT: My username is "im4lsu43"
  18. I once played that one for about 3 hours straight. Absolutely hilarious. Now that's a real woman!!
  19. Yeah, the right analog stick controls the jukes on PS2 also. Will take some practice because I automatically want to hit L1 and R1 for jukes like on 05. I find the gameplay alot faster, a reverse actually works, and one thing I noticed that really is an improvement is a player continues his momentum in the endzone after scoring a TD, unlike previous years where he would unrealistically stop on a dime right after crossing the goalline. Looks great. I agree on the stadiums. There are flaws that the diehard fans like you and I will notice, but the stadiums look more 3D. The crowd actually looks and acts like a crowd, not a wall painting that hardly moves. I could go on and on about how much this game has improved over 05, just too many sweet things to mention.
  20. I just picked up my copy after work today. Only played one game and already I see some huge improvements over 05, which also was a great game. Looks like EA really concentrated on the gameplay this year because it's outstanding. The player movements are alot smoother. Alot of different cut scenes. What do you all think of the game? If anyone gets it and wants to play online on PS2, post in this thread.
  21. We are overdue for one, and it looks like we are gonna dodge another big one. Stay safe!
  22. It may be biased, it may not be, but I gotta go with my LSU Tigers. I really don't think there's another place in the country like Tiger Stadium on Saturday night. People begin tailgating on Friday night for a Saturday night game. A sea of RV's flow across the parking lots while thousands of fans throw tailgate parties bigger than the democratic conventions. Right before gametime, the Tiger band marches down the hill towards the stadium. Apon entering, awaits 90,000+ hyped up and drunk BBQ smelling cajuns. Then the band enters and starts playing the pregame tune as goosebumps stand an inch high on your skin. They park Mike the Tiger's cage right in front of the visitors locker room, so the only way to the field, they have to run around this huge hungry Tiger. It's just breath taking, I invite anyone to pay a visit to BR for a night game in Death Valley, and dare anyone to find a better atmosphere for College football. Here's a cool link with actual quotes from visiting players and coaches who visited Tiger Stadium. http://tigerstadium.com/quotes.htm
