Yes. I think he was held back by Saint Doug as well QB and interior line play. He may well be as bright as (for example) some people think Gase is. At the beginning of the Denver game, we saw some creativity. After getting behind because of penalties etc., the Bills were forced to get away from their game plan. In any event, I hope he gets another chance.

I have no issue with trading him given the circumstances etc. Yet, I thought at the time that it probably was not worth trading him at all for what they got. I presume the Bills thought it was addition by subtraction and that there were issues in the locker room. Who knows? As another poster wrote, ML (while a very good RB) continues to be a headache. It is too bad the Colts GM was not a GM in the league then.

How about both teams should get the ball in OT (regardless of whether one team scores a TD) or play a full quarter? I hated to see that game end without Green Bay at least getting the ball on offense once.

FWIW - I actually think that it is architecturally and structurally interesting. By the way, in case you did not know, the biggest impact on the Bills will be that the stands will be brought closer to the field - in other words, it will be louder.

Have you sat in that stadium during an afternoon game in September? I have, and it is brutal. I have no idea how 300 pound linemen play in that heat. I always thought that the NFL and Dolphins risked a lawsuit if some player dies during a game - especially since they started having 1:00 September kick offs again. Just my two cents.

Funny. I am huge Arsenal supporter (since Dennis Bergkamp) and even a Red Member, but I always have heard about the great atmosphere and supporters at West Ham.

In case you did not know, one of the U.K. Bills fans is organizing an event in London on Saturday night before the game. I have to find the link again. I am going to figure out my schedule once I find out Arsenal's fixture schedule next season.

I bought on the UK website even though I am here in the US. I had to register for an account. It should (I think) work for Europe because it contemplated options for delivery in the US as well as Europe (if I recall correctly).

A few thoughts: Because this involves coach killer and miserable teammate Cutler, people will put this in perspective. Brandon Marshall did. It also does not hurt that what he said did not exactly involve a state secret. It is very impressive that the guy owned up to what he said. In a world and sport where "leaks" happen every single day, this is unusual.

Something tells me that Saint Doug is not getting a job with USC or any other big time program. He probably belongs back in college, but it presumably will be a second tier school or lower.

He and Sexton had to realize that there was no shot of him getting the job -- especially if he is competing against Kubiak.

He apparently is now going about getting another job the way he coached.
