  1. I thought this was funny and creative.
  2. Well said - particularly the last sentence. Sully and Bucky write their articles "in advance" to advance their own narrative.
  3. A great life story. Compare Kim and her life story with Bucky's snark the next time he moans about her supposedly interfering (even though she is the owner of the freaking team).
  4. Tyler is an example of a great sports writer. Sully . . . not so much. This article also shows some of difficult circumstances that some of these guys face growing up -- circumstances that many of us who post here never have had to face.
  5. If I recall correctly, his wife is from Buffalo for what it is worth.
  6. I remember when I defended you . . . . You are making something out of my post that is not there.
  7. That is exactly what I meant. I thought it was crystal clear to anyone with even a modicum of intelligence. There was NO reference to race, ethnicity, religion or anything other than Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. The last time I checked, all kinds of people live in each of those cities. Some like to look down on place like Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh and people from there. My only point -- in responding to an OP from Cleveland -- was that it was nice that he stopped by and there is an affinity between and among people from cities such as these. Again, there was no reference to anything other than that. To read anything else into my post would be complete BULLSH*T.
  8. Thanks for posting. Us people from places like Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh have to stick together.
  9. I thought EJ did very well under very difficult circumstances. In my humble opinion, those that are saying he was "horrible" already had their opinion made up before the game and looked at EJ's performance through that perspective. Most often, EJ had NO time in the pocket. The line was horrible. He took the very back end of our roster all the way down the field for a TD and the two point conversion. He was a real leader on that drive and willed the Bills to score. Having said the above, I still do not know who should start. I think each of the three has his own merits, and, after two preseason games, I feel much better about our QB situation compared to the tweets that certain Buffalo media would tweet during practice. I just don't agree with posters and certain media guys who are trashing EJ. He is a classy kid, works hard, has skills, and is not the finished product yet. There is no reason to trash EJ or cast him aside. Even if he does not start this year, I think the Bills should continue to develop him (as was the original plan). Just my two cents.
  10. I am officially going. I just bought my airline tickets. I arrive in London on Friday and return on Monday. I just wish that the NFL would give he tickets to UK Ticketmaster so that I would have mine in my hand. The only other thing I have left to do is to get my ticket for the Arsenal game on Saturday. It should be a great weekend.
  11. Thank you. Much appreciated.
  12. I guess the media was wrong when they (some) complained that it was unnecessary for Rex to pick up IK.
  13. Rivers agreed to an extension.
  14. That must be the spin in New England among the "Free Brady" crowd. Very funny.
  15. If Tom cannot trust Ben Afleck's nanny, who can he trust? What is this world coming to when you cannot trust the nanny to keep quiet when you take her on a private jet to Vegas?!?!
  16. Judge Berman could do all of those things. As an aside, I was thinking about Jastresmki or McNally. There is no doubt that they did not do what they did without Brady's blessing. The Judge even remarked on this. Nevertheless, I think that it is going to be VERY hard to get either one of those guys to appear without subpoena power. That might be one reason they are no longer employed by the Pats. When they were employed by the Pats, the NFL had at least "some" leverage - and even that leverage did not get the Pats lawyers to agree to produce them again after Wells' team discovered the texts. Also, both of those guys live in New England surrounded by Pats' fans. Pats' fans are on an all out crusade defending Brady -- in front of courthouses, on the internet, and especially on PFT (where their comments do not appear to be removed unlike those of us that have a contrary opinion). I wonder whether Jastresmki or McNally are/would be concerned about retaliation from other Pats' fans if they were to testify as to Brady's involvement.
  17. Job description: Do NOT forward telephone calls from other teams to players or their agents with whom Bills are negotiating.
  18. Judge Berman: “It looks like they…deflated the game balls? Why would either one of them do that without Mr. Brady’s consent?”
  19. In addition to some of the other issues already mentioned: Please ask them to allow season ticket holders to sell preseason games on the NFL Ticket Exchange for less than face value. A few years ago, I was allowed to do this, but not for the past couple of years. I am an out-of-town season ticket holder and (as everyone else) have to buy the preseason games as part of the package. Fine, whatever. Nevertheless, given that there is less demand for preseason games, I would at least like to re-capture some of my investment. [Fortunately, this year, I was able to sell the Pittsburgh game for the face value. Yet, it does not appear that I will be able to sell the Carolina game on the NFL Ticket Exchange]. Thanks.
