  1. I don't believe that Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb would have done anything without Tom Brady's blessing. The Deflator, in my opinion, would not take it upon himself to deflate footballs (especially footballs used in a playoff game) unless he knew that he was doing what Brady wanted him to do. Just my two cents.
  2. Makes sense. As I recall, Rex let Nick Mangold go to the Olympics to watch his sister compete.
  3. True. It is like they have an army of Patriot fans assigned to PFT. It reminds me of an article I read a few months ago in the NYT about how the Russians have a team of people assigned to adding their (pro Putin/Russian) comments etc. to Western media websites. Maybe this is what Robert Kraft got from Putin in return for the Super Bowl ring.
  4. I am glad that I am not imagining this. The whole thing is very, very odd. I also commented on his article about Mort. I think that one was removed as well. It is funny how Florio suggests that all of this resulted from Mort's report and then spun out of control. I never had that sense at all. As an aside, I printed the transcript of the hearing. I have only read bits and pieces thus far, but Brady's testimony makes for entertaining reading. I also enjoyed the cross-examination of Brady's expert. He was particularly testy.
  5. Thanks. Did you get this on Pacer or is it linked anywhere? It is interesting. If Brady and his attorneys really were interested in not providing his phone to Wells, they could have hired this guy to do this search before March 6 (the date of the interview and destruction of the phone). Yes, I am crazy. I always have enjoyed PFT and have read it even before he aligned with NBC. I have noticed that Florio seems to be carrying Brady's water - he seems to draw every inference in favor of Brady. I noticed that some of my posts pointing out discrepancies etc. started to disappear. I have no idea why Florio (or whoever is in charge of monitoring the comments) would care. I started taking screen shots of my comments before they had time to remove them. Somebody over at PFT has got a serious man crush on Tom Brady. There is no doubt that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick know every rule in the rule book. In Tom Brady's own words (after the Ravens game): “I don’t know,” Brady said. “Who knows? Maybe those guys gotta study the rule book and figure it out. We obviously knew what we were doing and we made some pretty important plays. It was a real good weapon for us. Maybe we’ll have something in store next week.”
  6. For the past week or so, I have had a number of posts that I have posted on PFT deleted. The only ones that have been deleted were ones questioning Brady's case and/or PFT's coverage of it (PFT has a habit of drawing every inference in favor of Brady). A few days ago, I started to take screen shots of these posts. I have tried to contact Florio to find out whether I am violating some policy of theirs. Very odd. Have any of you had this problem?
  7. Exhibit 6 is the supplemental declaration of Brad Maryman. With any luck, that attaches the report or sets forth the pertinent information. Presumably, there is an original declaration. I have not seen the exhibit number yet.
  8. That is so funny - and not surprising.
  9. Do any of you guys know when Brad Maryman (Brady's computer forensics expert) was hired? Do any of you guys have copy of Maryman's expert report or know the date of the report? The reason why I ask is that Maryman was hired to search the phones for electronic information responsive to Wells' requests. As has been confirmed, Brady's phone was destroyed on March 6 (the day he was being interviewed by Wells). Wells' request had been propounded prior to then. Even though it was Brady's (supposed) practice to destroy his phones when he got a new one, the prior phone (the one used through November 2014 was available for the forensic expert. Interestingly, in part of his testimony, Brady testified: "So I have always old the guy who swaps them out for me, make sure you get rid of the phone." Transcript at 91 (emphasis added). Yet, when he had the subject phone destroyed on the day that he was being interviewed and after already receiving the document request, he had his "assistant" do it. Transcript at 105-06.
  10. Great. Thanks. I had not received anything from them yet. I thought maybe I missed it.
  11. Did your rep give you the code or whatever it is you need to get it?
  12. I totally agree with you. People are WAY too quick in their assessment of QBs. It takes time. It is the toughest position to play. I have not given up on EJ. Even if he ends up not starting this year, I have no problem with the Bills continuing to develop him.
  13. Thanks. I remember being excited about getting Willis and the, of course, he got picked just before us. As an aside, I was watching the NFL Channel last night. They had the Steelers practice on. As I was watching Big Ben being interview by Mayock, I kept on thinking (as I always do) just how different the Bills would have been if Tom Donohoe had been able to get his man. (As I recall, we really wanted him). P.S. The Steeler QBs (and their OC) also were doing the garbage can drill last night. They were having a lot of fun with it. Ben had the day off and was the guy near the cans awarding guys points.
  14. Perhaps you know the answer to this: I always had the sense that the Bills really wanted Patrick Willis who was taken one pick before Lynch. Any idea whether that is correct?
  15. Joe B does seem to do that. There are a few players that he does not seem to be objective about. One is EJ. Another is Seantrel. I used to really like Joe B and thought he was a cut above everyone else. Not so much anymore. He can be good, but I would not say he is much better than everyone else.
  16. FYI - At the end of the story, Revis talks about how much he loves Rex.
  17. I am not surprised. The only thing that surprises me is I wonder if they gave any consideration to having Richie on the right side to help out/mentor whoever our young right OT will be.
  18. That is one of the things that concerns me. I really hope that he has a monster year. We gave up a great young player and are paying McCoy a lot of money. He better be the real deal.
  19. Yes and no. Because of the internet and twitter etc., these guys do not have the last word. When they are being ridiculous, there is push back. They hate that. As I mentioned before, these guys love to dish it out, but have extremely thin skin themselves.
  20. Sully completely embarrasses himself with his comments about the Pegulas (in much the same way that Bucky did with his misogynistic comments about Kim). Sully has written some ridiculous things about the Pegulas (including suggesting that Terry was simply lucky in business). It must hurt guys like Sully, Bucky, and Harrington that the Pegulas have built up so much goodwill in Buffalo that people realize that their comments about the Pegulas are BS. Somebody once told me that there are people in this world that take all of the risk (professional, financial, and otherwise) to make the movie, and there are others (like Sully, Bucky, and Harrington) who do nothing other than critique after the fact. Sully, Bucky, and Harrington are the keyboard jockeys who never accomplished anything in life other than being critical of others after the fact -- and even then they get it wrong much of the time.
  21. As always, thank you.
  22. I am not defending McCoy, but it was a very predictable article by Sully. He basically is mailing it in - as he did with his articles about Mario's fridge, the Pegulas, and wanting to cut Marcel. It is a shame because he does have the ability to be good. I thought it was funny how Harrington took to Twitter to defend him. It is funny how Sully, Bucky, and Harrington love to dish it out, but seem to have the thinnest skin. Just my two cents.
