Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer arrested (Suspended 6 games)

Dismissed. Wow. It is funny how the state attorney released this on the day and time of day that people release this type of thing. It sounds as though (unlike the Patriot footballs), this was overblown. P.S. Reading the latter part of the press release, I wonder if some payment changed hands. All of a sudden, the parents want to move on. -
RIP Way too young.

Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court
Peter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What reason could there be? I am sure that this is about the last thing that the NFL wanted to happen. Brady is the NFL poster child. Why would Goodell want to gratuitously take down Brady and blemish his reputation. Oh, by the way, this is the same commissioner who did the Patriots and their fans a favor in the way he handled spygate and destroyed the tapes. -
This was wrong in so many ways. I happened to see the Jimmy Kimmel show when he said what someone else posted earlier. Well done Jimmy. I have a feeling that this guy is not going to have much of a dental practice when all is said and done. As an aside, I also happened to see yesterday that there is only one male northern white rhino left in the world and he is being protected by armed guard. Very sad.

Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court

Brady is certainly a HOF QB. He is a great QB. This whole thing is Nixonian. He did not need to break any rules. He also did not need to try to cover this up. He should have come clean as best he could and he probably would have received a slap on the wrist. The whole thing would have blown over and no one would be talking about this. Instead, he took a different path . . . . He has no one but himself (and his advisors) to blame. -

Tom Brady the week before (after the Ravens game): "Maybe those guys gotta study the rule book and figure it out," Brady said. "We obviously knew what we were doing and we made some pretty important plays. It was a real good weapon for us. Maybe we'll have something in store next week." -
Questions regarding Seantrel Henderson - IDK?
Peter replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seantrel will be playing offensive line for the Buffalo Bills in 2015. -
I am glad he is doing well. He certainly is a better artist than NFL football player. A few comments: It is curious that he did not seem to take any responsibility for his career. His comments about the combine being a meat market are correct. Yet, it was that meat market that led to him making millions together with his one year when he racked up sacks against middling competition. You may recall that there were concerns about him being underweight. He - somehow - added weight for the combine, which he was unable to keep on his frame. I remember hearing rumors that the Bills had buyer's remorse almost immediately when he showed up for mini-camp. I also remember rumors that he would not return the Bills' calls when the contract was being negotiated and he was holding out. He basically disappeared. Again, I am happy that he is doing well. He actually is a very talented artist. The problem that he faces in the eyes of Bills' fans is that he had no business being selected in the first round let alone where he was selected in the round. I understand he does not have good things to say about the Bills. I get that. Yet, at the same time, he should be very thankful. Without the Bills' (foolish) decision to pick him where we did, he would not have made millions, would not have been able to retire his parents in SC, and would not have all that money to support his lifestyle. Just my opinion.

Shady trade will really set this team back
Peter replied to enlightener's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course every situation is different. That does not mean that we cannot try to make our own evaluations (right or wrong). Players are compared all the time - especially on this board. I also have read people on this board make criticisms on this board that state or would suggest that CJ is not a quality NFL back. CJ is going to be playing for another NFL team. We shall see whether they are correct. We also will see what kind of production he will have and can look back at the end of the season and ask ourselves whether would have been better off with Kiko and CJ (at their lower collective cap hit) or Shady and his higher cap hit. I also will be asking that question when we are trying to re-sign Marcell, Cordy, Stephon, and Nigel. Just my two cents. -

So will the Bills offensive situation from new guards, new coaches, and new offensive scheme -- for the better. Yet, even though the Bills interior line has been horrendous the past few years, that never stopped any of CJ's detractors from being critical. In any event, I think CJ will do well for NO. I also think he would have done well for us. I also think that I would rather have two (CJ and Kiko) for the price of (less than) one - Shady. Time will tell. We shall see as the season progresses. -

Not only do you have a great name and great taste with respect to EPL teams, you are correct in what you say above. -

As an aside, given the publicity, I wonder how many girls will try to go to the party. I also wonder which enterprising female reporter (or source) will try to attend the party - undercover as it were - to report about the party. What is going to happen at this party is definitely going to come out - confidentiality agreement or not. -

I do not know what Chip was complaining about, Shady sees a hole and tries to hit it . . . . What can go wrong??? I wonder whether his first press conference back will be as awkward as the one when the gaggle of reporters were asking Shady about his Chip Kelly comments. P.S. The way I read the invite, it requires girls to provide a photo and social media information -- without any guaranty of being able to go to the party. I presume that is so that Shady (and whichever guys are in control of the party) can decide whether they want them at the party. RSVPing for the party does not appear to guaranty being able to go to the party. Only after sending your photo and social media information will anyone get a confirmation email disclosing the drop off and pick up location. I suppose that those girls that are not deemed "talented" enough (in the eyes of Shady and his friends) will not get the confirmation email. P.P.S. Fred and CJ certainly have a different approach to life compared to Shady. -

I have not read all of the posts in this thread, but, as I previously commented: At the end of the day, I will evaluate this trade by comparing: Shady and his cap hit and performance v. Kiko and CJ and their lower collective cap hit and their performance. -

NFL Coach says RG3 is "done" as effective QB
Peter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I remember when people were complaining that the Bills did not trade away all the picks that Washington traded in order to get RGIII. -
I am down here in Miami. You mentioned the Marlins. I have been planning on going to a game, but have not gone to the new stadium yet for a game (I was there for a non-sports event once). I am looking forward to a day when the team has new ownership.

I have no idea how to respond to this news until we hear something from Kromer and/or find out what the Bills have in mind. If he ends up getting fired, those beach chairs ended up being very expensive chairs. -
You two need to get together and go to some Warriors and A's games.
