  1. The Bills could look at bringing Andy and Jairus back when they are cap casualties. We could use some depth at both positions.
  2. There is very little doubt in my mind that Seantrel will be on the first team offensive line when the games actually count (provided he is not injured). This whole thing is reminding me of the people who call sports radio and say we should trade Zadorov after he had his travel issues.
  3. Well done! I never realized that we have a board full of posters who have never had issues while traveling.
  4. The Stanley Cup was delayed getting to Chicago because of weather. I wonder if the weather was the problem with his flight.
  5. Given that Seantrel has been at the voluntary OTA's, I suspect that it has nothing to do with him holding out.
  6. I have not decided whether I want the Bills to spend the money to sign Mathis, but I do know this: 1) Given the questions about our QBS, other teams are going to stack the box. As a result, if the Bills want to be able to run the ball, whoever is on the line better be able to open up some holes. 2) At the end of the day, the Bills better have enough money to extend Marcell, Gilmour, Nigel, and Cordy. Just my two cents.
  7. I wonder how close Shady and Mathis are.
  8. You are absolutely correct. A few of these guys continue to take this approach.
  9. Brandon was on his best behavior and was a great guy while with the Bills. Once he re-signs with the Pats . . . .
  10. You are probably correct. There are couple of guys at BN in particular who have are primarily responsible. Vic is a very good football writer and typically does not write with any particular agenda he wants to advance -- unlike some others.
  11. I like Vic a lot, but lately he seems to be making a living by speculating that certain players will be cut if they are not starters. We shall see.
  12. I would hope that is the case. If not, I have to believe that you would have a great argument with the Bills not to have your rights removed. The Bills and the NFL get a cut of what was paid.
  13. I live in Miami and took over my Dad's season tickets (he was a charter season ticket holder) when he passed away. I did not have the heart to give up the tickets because they had been in the family for so long and I had so many great family and football memories going to games. As someone above mentioned, I also kept these tickets to do my small part to keep the Bills in Buffalo. I try to go to as many games as I can, but it is increasingly difficult with family obligations down here. Before the NFL ticket exchange, I used to take a bath on the cost of the tickets (unless I could go to games or family members could go). With the NFL ticket exchange, I can at least sell the tickets without having to spend a bunch of time doing so etc. I also do not have to worry about offending anyone about asking for whatever price the market has for that particular game. My goal is to at least break even on the season. I make no apologies for that. Bills fans have the same ability to buy my tickets (which are on the 45 yard line, 23rd row) as anyone else. I hope Bills fans buy the tickets, but, as you know, I have no way of knowing that.
  14. If I recall correctly, Rex is there for a charity event to raise money for the NYPD officers.
  15. Notre Dame showed about the same competence and enthusiasm for investigating this as did FSU with Winston. While it is true that he was not legally guilty (it is difficult to bring charges when the only witness killed herself as a result of this), there is a difference between legal and factual guilt.
  16. This is exactly what I was thinking. I remember reading about that girl. When I read that (as I recall), Notre Dame was still keeping his name out of the media.
  17. I had a feeling Tuel's time was over every time Rex made it a point to only refer to three QBs. I wonder if he is on his way to Jax.
  18. And, in some cases, what they write there . . . . I am convinced that a couple of those guys at TBN post here and on the Aud Club board to push their narratives.
  19. It is interesting how some on this board seem to view the world as some in the Buffalo News sports department do: they can always find the dark cloud in the silver lining.
  20. 1) I love Rex. 2) If you have doubts about Bylsma or think his success was only a result of Crosby and Malkin, you should read this interesting piece by Travis Yost in which he analyzes DB's coaching career with the Pens and his record with and without Crosby/Malkin: http://www.tsn.ca/bylsma-can-stand-on-his-track-record-1.293813
  21. It is very simple concept to grasp: If CJ approximates the production of Shady and Kiko plays like Kiko - why wouldn't we have been better off not trading Kiko and signing CJ for a similar contract that NO signed him for -- especially given that (as I recall) CJ and Kiko's combined cap hit is less than Shady's and we are still looking for LB depth at a minimum.
  22. At the end of the day, I will evaluate this trade by comparing: Shady and his cap hit v. Kiko and CJ and their lower collective cap hit.
  23. Nice story. Well done Randy.
