  1. I'm more than happy to weigh in on this: I was at the Saints game, and that was the worst quarterback performance I have ever seen, in over 40 years of watching football! Things started off bad for Peterman, from Benjamin going down on the first play, to a dropped/tipped ball going the other way, to horseshit line play. The coach took a shot, and it didn't work. I give him credit for trying. If you think for a second that Taylor starting would have made any difference, you are dilusional! Taylor is average at very best. He won't throw over the middle, won't throw on rhythm, won't throw into a tight spot, won't throw a guy open, and checks down way too often, all the while running around Helter Skelter looking for a guy stationary, wide open, to toss to in the flat. I'm sick of watching horseshit quarterback play, and that is what we get with Taylor. Can't wait for the season to be over, and see him gone! Hopefully we can acquire a FA like Keenum or Cousins, or draft a kid that can come in and start. As for Peterman, he deserves another chance. I still believe he will end up being a much better NFL quarterback in time than Taylor will.
  2. It really isn't going to matter at this point who plays QB. This team is rotten, with way too many holes to fill. Any playoff talk at this point is purely dillusional. This team will be lucky to win more than one more game.
  3. I have been faithfully watching this team since 1973, but resigned myself today to not watch one more game Taylor starts! He is as bad as any starting quarterback in the NFL, and has no more business starting for the Bills than any of us do! "He doesn't throw any interceptions," says the all knowledgeable Mike Schopp. No ****, Schopp, He won't throw it five yards down the field! Done with this assclown, DONE!
  4. Get his ass off the field! Enough is enough of this clown! 3rd season of him killing any chance of having any type of offense!
  5. He is no better than average. He won't throw a guy out of his break, won't put it up and let a receiver "go get it," checks down too early, misses open guys too often, and can't or won't throw down the middle. I have nothing against the guy, but his shortcomings are going to ruin another great defensive season, where we could at least make the playoffs. I have zero confidence that he can take team down the field and win a game. Too bad they didn't look harder in the off season. In hindsight, that #10 pick on Watson would have been a great one.
  6. This season is going to be a duplicate of St. Doug's final season: A Super Bowl caliber defense, and a quarterback that can't throw with any consistency, and likely another year watching the playoffs, all because of horrific quarterback play. I realize he doesn't have top notch receivers to throw to, yet, they are still open, and he either misses them, or simply chooses not to throw it. The first drive we got a field goal on should have been a touchdown, but he made yet another bad decision with the football. I want him to do well, but have more than seen enough. He is what he is, and isn't going to get any better, and I don't think it would matter if he had Jerry Rice and Steve Largent to throw to, he still wouldn't pull the trigger.
  7. The main reason the run game didn't produce is there was zero chance he was going to throw it deep, and the Panthers knew it! They had 9 guys on line of scrimmage, daring, begging, Taylor to throw it past the line of scrimmage, and he couldn't, wouldn't, didn't. This was the worst quarterback performance I have ever, ever seen. We need to park him now, and see what Peterman can do. It can't be worse, no possible way.
  8. Great topic! Here are my choices: Collinsworth is terrible. Phil Simms was as bad as anyone, glad he's gone. Fox studio crew Solomon Wilcots - I swear he thinks the alphabet is A B C T E F G. Although I loved him as a player, Steve Tasker is bad. I love Sal, he is far and away the best on WGR.
  9. I think you give the ball to the kid and see what he can do. He has actually moved them better the Tyrod, and did so last night. Chances are we aren't going anywhere this year, anyway, so why not let Peterman start, and play, and by the end of the year you should know if he's capable or not. What if he starts to play extremely well the last month, and they come on and play for him? Can you imagine the rapid improvement you can have next season if you don't have to pick a high round quarterback? Only way to know is to let him play. We know what we have in Taylor, and it's no different than what we've had for 20 years.
  10. Does anyone know how to get tickets for Friday's practice? I looked on the Bills website, and didn't see anything, unless I overlooked it somehow. Please advise if you know. Thank you.
  11. Agree. If Watson is there, take him! This kid has all the intangibles you could want. Physically he's extremely gifted, comes from a winning conference and program, and has won huge games. Strongly disagree. That thought process is exactly why we haven't had even a decent quarterback since Kelly retired. There is no more pressing need than QB for this team.
  12. Oh my, could go on for days! In any particular order: Maybin, Manuel, Tony Hunter, Tom Cousineau, The WR we took instead of Russel Wilson, Mike Williams, RB Terry Miller. We certainly have missed on a bunch of guys, where a good pick could have made a huge difference. The bypass of Russell Wilson is one of the most befuddling moves this team ever made! You needed a quarterback in the worst way, yet don't take a guy who would have immediately made you a playoff team.
  13. You guys can rip Sully all you want to, but, he is usually right! Look at this team, this organization, and the results for 2 decades! Kids that will graduate high school next spring, have never seen this team be even remotely good! Now, when it's time for a relatively new owner to wipe it clean, get rid of ALL that is left from the 2 decades of futility, hands the reigns over to the GM who spent 2 # 1 picks, and a #4, of a WR that has been on the field about half the time he has been here, and still has not done ANYTHING to address the 20 year old issue of having a good quarterback! I have been a fan for 40 years, and it's maddening that people fail to see the truth! Sully points out the facts that they are as dissfunctional as they can be, yet will move forward by "hiring within," all in the sake of "continuity," Well, you will have your continuity, as this team will suck AGAIN the next few years, until Whaley and Brandon are finally, mercifully, shown the door! Keep up the good work, Sully, some of us appreciate the truth!
  14. There is no way he should be getting paid, at all! When he got suspended, he should NOT have gotten paid, and shouldn't now, as he hasn't done a damn thing but keep the Anchor Bar in business! Trade his ass for a bag of footballs, and get him the F#$K out of here!
  15. No, my point is he's another good looking young QB that we passed on. Aren't you tired of seeing all the others, and now him, look great, while we still are stuck with a 2nd rate at best quarterback? I really thought Tyrod was going to join the elite this year, sadly, I and many others, was mistaken.
  16. That is a great question, it is kind of hard to believe he would.
  17. As Jimmy Garoppolo carves up the phins secondary, looking very Brady like in just a game and a quarter, it appears another great quarterback was missed. I was on this board pleading with the Bills to pick this kid, but we didn't need him, we had E.J. Good job, Doug, you and Buddy have put this team in the position its in, simply by passing by quality quarterbacks. Neither of you two would know a quarterback prospect if he hit you in the nuts with a football!
  18. You're probably right, Barley, but if given the season, he may be ready by the end of it. I really thought Tyrod was gonna produce, but I'm seeing nothing from him. But, in his defense, this offense is a freaking joke! WTF is Roman calling half the time? When it's 4th and short, and you use McCoy as a power back, you are an F-ing moron, and I would tell him that to his face! McCoy has never been, and never will be, a power back. He would have been better off throwing for it, but it probably woulda been picked off anyways.
  19. Laugh at me all you want, but it's time NOW to put Cardale Jones in and see if HE can play. It's painfully obvious that this is a 5 win team at best, so just say F&*K it now, and see if the kid has anything. I cannot explain how dissapointed I am in Tyrods play. I thought we had an answer finally, but, like many others realize I'm painfully mistaken.
  20. I think you need to go one rung higher, and broom Brandon, also. He is the one constant in this near two decade old playoff drought. He needs to go, too.
