  1. I'd be just fine with MW from what I've seen of him. I bet he's a great rebounder when he plays basketball.
  2. You are in too deep. You are trying to argue with someone who generally likes the kid. Sorry that none of these kids are worth the 10 th pick but they just aren't based on history and past performance. I'll just leave the other part alone that I don't know what I'm looking at ...
  3. Omg people. Please please please stop thinking that Russ has anything to do with football draft decisions for the Bills for the love of all that is good! It is just.....not.....the....case.
  4. Ah ok you didn't need to put the rest in the post responding to me but its all good. I thought you all were talking 2016.
  5. As for 2000 yds from scrimmage... Shady was less than 400 yds away... Not 800. Not getting in on any other aspect of this argument but yeah he was over 1600 yds from scrimmage.
  6. a long retired David Carr (taking turns with Mahomes) did it with ease - hit the receiver in the hands every time and was only 2 to 4 mph slower than Mahomes on most of the throws. Again, I don't want to make it seem like I don't like the kid a bit because I do... Just not a rd1 guy. Mitch T has the accuracy that Mahomes lacks, but then Mitch is a one year player so... we'll see. I don't like any of the Qb's for rd 1, but especially at #10
  7. That wouldn't be a bad plan B ;-)
  8. Compared to all the college Juniors and Seniors who are high potential NFL prospects I've watched in my lifetime... Most notably though were his out route throws at the combine, his throwing for timed speed throws to a standing target at another event, along with some majorly underthrown and mislead deep throws from his games this season. I'm intrigued by the guy but typically if they don't show a certain level of accuracy coming in, they don't achieve it. I'd still take him after rd. one so it's not all doom and gloom in my world.
  9. He really seems like a good kid with lot's of athleticism, upside and arm strength. BUT unfortunately his, dare I say, mind-blowing lack of accuracy even throwing "on air" at times is a massive massive red flag for drafting him any earlier than round 2.
  10. This is exactly what I was trying to get at earlier. You said it better.
  11. This is likely how the team is thinking. Like the move or not ( I'm in the Not party)...this does make sense based on how the Bills value# must look for the backup rb position. It is not random or clowny. I'd have preffered the 2nd round tender still.
  12. You aren't alone in this thought. Well put.
  13. One reason is because the air raid players are not adept in 3,5 and 7 step drops and how they coordinate with routes and route distances. That's not to say there's only one way to get it done, but there are some physical advantages to throwing out of that natural weight transfer as the qb plants off his drop back.
  14. 100% agreed that's how it went down.
  15. This seems unlikely but I'd be thrilled with Adams at 10.
  16. You are potentially the worst poster I have interacted with in my long time on this board. Your takes are groundhog day. You are the largest crusader the board has seen since ice. You call fair and balanced posters who present facts or speak from experience playing and/ or coaching the game of football "tyrod lovers" or something just like that if they don't agree with your 3 or 4 takes you have on the guy. Show me my Tyrod lovers post. You and the other 5 people that agree with your wrong takes keep on slapping your dicks all over every thread that includes TT in it! Its a great look! Quantity is quality. And black and white opinions only please! Either a guy sucks or he is great right? If I caught myself calling TT an elite qb I'd rip myself a new one. But I haven't done that have I? Nor have nearly all the posters you attempt to argue with day after day. You are the biggest tool on this board in the past year or so. You act like you're a 'welcome with open arms' regular but in reality most feel the way I do about you.
  17. I recall one crusader being dealt with on this board. They walk free and without fear of repercussion.
  18. TE's are blockers and Wr's typically. That's Clay. He's a killer blocker and his staff the past 2 seasons has praised that more than once. He's also an above average receiver as a TE and has done everything the team wanted him to, often in an outlet receiver role. He has missed some time with injuries and played through some other injuries. Last season he was missed by TT on some open opportunities early on... He and TT finally seemed to develop a connection in the last 3rd of 2016 where he showed more down the field ability.
  19. That's exactly right about character that coaches mean. Bad part about Gordon is he has demonstrated no football character by simply not being able to resist a nonaddictive drug for the game he loves like what 6 times? I dont think anyone cares about the weed use... Its the lack of control and thus his lack of love for the game displayed that keeps him in doubt.
  20. Stop slobbering all over TT with such comments! :-)
  21. It's neither here nor there that it's what you expected to hear. Certain guys stress certain things for a reason. It's not all a playing with the minds of sheep agenda out there. Rex cared to never really mention or stress having players of character that I can recall. Marv did, as another example. Sometimes you are too "clever" for your own good.
  22. For me, somewhat yes (not the faith based part but him valuing high character, versatile players. It's a perception derived from the things the coach has mentioned at the forefront of his direction for the team, along with the Pendulum swing the organization may take in this aspect), considering under Rex they took some extra chances on troubled type guys. Can't speak for the other poster, but most every thing I "Come up with" is due to the clues and facts provided along with logical assumptions based on all the available information.
