  1. beautiful stuff Bills Fan
  2. It is very diplomatic of you to say "I think" when it is really more of a fact than opinion You'd have to be a blatant fool not to give him atleast 2 full seasons worth of work before making a judgment.
  3. I am not necessarily opposed to this potential move, but when did we experts determine that Bennie was the sole cause of our offensive line woes? Given I have seen some attrocious pass blocking from the guy, but I've also seen that from each of the other 4. They seem to take turns. Plus , atleast this season, Anderson has been a very good run blocker. I'm not saying that makes him great but I'm just trying to be careful that we aren't making assumptions here.
  4. Or here's a crazy thought: Play more base 4-3 defense with a much more modest sprinkling of blitzes, thus allowing for much better control of gaps.
  5. Or maybe he's disgruntled, out of shape, not a team player, sucked when he DID play last, and doesn't know our offense.
  6. What is it that attracts you: His piss poor attitude or his stellar play for the Browns last season?
  7. Exactly, according to MM they bring in as many as 30 players on any given tuesday. But let's get our football facts from little blurbs in print.
  8. It's that sort of thinking that could keep us wallowing in mediocrity for eternity. 1- Draft quarterback 2- Determine after @ 11 games that he is no good 3- Cut or trade said player, eat the cap and draft picks you spent on him. 4- wash and repeat.
  9. Did Weiler die when Drew left town?
  10. Reality check. If the Bills win this game each and every one of us should be completely ecstatic and proud. No excuses, no "well the Patriots are banged up", etc. etc. A win in primetime in foxboro would be nothing short of our greatest road victory in atleast 6 or 7 years, if not longer. I don't see this being within the realm of possibility, but as you know anything can happen. If we actually won this game and I came on the board afterwards and saw posts like "well they weren't at full strength" I think I would puke
  11. To be fair I've seen some really good play from him in the run game, while in pass pro he may be our worst.
  12. He DID offer LeBeau the job. As for the earlier comments from others, that was Greg Williams Tennessee defense with a little tweak here and there from DL, not vice-versa...
  13. No but the players changed
  14. I agree on Vilma's future for sure. I know Willis weighs atleast 235 and Vilma standing next to him looks like he weighs more, that's all.
  15. Thurman was LT before LT was even in high school. Willis ain't there yet.
  16. Posey was no help whatsoever yesterday. The thing that gets overlooked with the contant griping about him is that there actually WASN'T a big deal made about him by the team and he has a very reasonable salary that does not hurt us.
  17. Did you see him vs. the Bills and STILL believe he weighs 235? I sure don't. He just seems to be a real "thick body" tpye even for his limited height (which is still taller than Fletch) Plus the Jets are doing a much better job of cleaning up bodies on front of him than our D-line is.
  18. Think of it more like a square peg in a round hole. Believe it or not you can only count on 1 hand the amount of Complete MLB's (or ILB's) playing in the league right now who are adept with both range and size. Ray lewis and Johnathan Vilma are two off-hand.
  19. No, that doesn't make him overrated. He's always been small and quick, and requires a good set of DT's in front of him. He's a diffent type of MLB, as opposed to one who CAN take on blocks but doesn't have the range to go sideline to sideline.
  20. Honestly I'm tired of the hiring and firing rollercoaster. We need better players on both sides of the line. Period. Start to address this in the coming off-season and I will be happy. A new coach or GM isn't going to be able to change anything drastically and will probably hurt at first more than he would help.
  21. NC is still a fine corner. If he wants to be THE highest paid though, he will not be here next year. We need defensive tackles, a defensive end, and probably atleast two good offensive linemen.
  22. Your points have been appreciated and well documented in recent weeks, but if you can't see that our main issues overall have a lot more to do with players than coaching adjustments at this point, then I don't know what else to tell ya
  23. The man in my avatar is the heart and soul of this team. Willis is the engine. McGee is the wheels.
  24. That post is an example of why I'll always value what you have to say, inspite of some occasional journeys into the bazaar Well done.
