I know people will talk about Beane not being GM yet but him and McDermott have their fingerprints all over the 2017 draft. Just off the bat , these drafts were 'Franchise Changing'. We're going to have 8-10 starters from these drafts entering week 1 of the upcoming season! And most these guys are high end starters. That's pretty amazing. Milano - Edmunds Tre -Taron - Levi Totally rebuilt the D in 2 years, that's incredible. 5 legit starters that all played a huge part in the #2 pass defense. Harry Phillips plays a key role and can only improve. Siran Neal is okay depth but again , he can only get better. Even minus Neal , we added 6 legit contributers on defense in 2 years. Dawkins - Teller (?) Allen Foster So there's 3 legit starters , including Franchise QB . Then you got Zay , Teller , Croom as good depth and should be major contributers. That's 6 legit contributers on offense going into next year. In that 2 year span we averaged 4 starters and 6 impact players. That's amazing when you think about it. These 2 drafts already have and will continue to have a huge impact on this franchise. This is how you build a team and set them up for long term success. If we can continue to draft this well , we'd have long term,. Sustainable success. I've been saying that since they were hired . I've just had this gut feeling about them . 15 wins with their rosters is extremely impressive. Both seem to have the exact same vision and blueprint and work well together. Calculated, intelligent , patient . Big things are in store for this franchise.

Tackle at #9, Dawkins to LG
JerseyBills replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very good chance we'll have the chance to choose the #1 OL on their board. If they are very high on a specific player , then pull the trigger. Set up a potentially elite OL. Just get the best 5 out there, Jawann Taylor - Dawkins - Morse - Long/Teller - Ty You also have excellent depth and versatility . Ty, Dawkins, Long can each play multiple positions. At the same time , I want BPA if they are significantly higher on their board -
Trent Murphy probably not going anywhere

Lorax is by far the 2nd best DE -
Ryan Fitzpatrick to sign with Miami

Who would have been the 6th best QB last year's draft. I'm telling ya we struck gold with Allen -
Jonathan Harris I think? Him and Long . Jet fans hate Harrison, he's rated very poorly on PFF. Jet fans thought with all that $ they'd address this.

Their current C is worse than Bodine!! Imagine if they got Morse , and we're stuck with Bodine/Groy ?? Huge implications for both franchises , and it's in our favor with this one, big time , C is a crucial position, especially for a young QB . Beane and Co have crushed it. Bell had one of the best OL for basically his whole career , as well as AB and Ben. He's going to have some tough times behind that OL

OT Ty Nsekhe (Redskins) to the Bills
JerseyBills replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This dude is the real deal . Performed at a high level at Right and LT. Can give Dawkins a run for his money. -
I hope Lorax moves to DE permanently. Him and Hughes were the only edge defenders in the top 10 on the same team per pff
-
So far Cole , Brown and Ty (OT) said Allen was one of the first to call. That's a franchise QB. He has the whole package
-
Plus Lorax, a top 10 edge defender per PFF Last year. Shaq can also go inside. Deep DL. Crazy depth

WR John Brown (Ravens) to the Bills
JerseyBills replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like a perfect weapon. Defenses have to prepare for his speed, plus Foster ! I could see Brown looking like he did in Arizona early on -
We should find out soon. That'd be crazy, I always liked Ziggy since a rookie. He has that freakish African build. And was overall very productive in Detroit. Why not ? Kick Shaq inside permanently. Have Lorax and Murphy spell Ziggy and Hughes? Sick rotation.

The Browns will self-destruct on October 21, 2019
JerseyBills replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo has legit leaders that are heavily respected by their teammates. Lorax. Shady . Frank Gore. Hyde/Poyer/Tre going into year 3 together. Dimarco. Hughes Besides Tre , we're not relying on any young guys besides Tre and Edmunds to be leaders. No divas , no outlandish personalities , no crazy media distractions. Who does Cle have that resembles this type of leadership besides Baker. Beckham was not liked in that locker room. He dissed his QB . Was a media ***** and nowhere near a leader or respected as a man. -

They expect a rookie HC and two new coordinators to control these personalities? Alot of turnover,no culture,no process , JUST A COLLECTION OF TALENT.Beane and McDermott built a TEAM. I can just see this blowing up, all the media attention , a rookie regime , this team hasn't had a winning season in years . I could totally see them implode. This isn't the NBA -
KR/WR Andre Roberts (Jets) to Bills
JerseyBills replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow. That's vvery impressive. Murphy had 13 returns and led the team with 24.9 yards per . No player had over 10 yards per punt! As a team, we had ZERO punt/kickoff returns! This is a helluva mood to get a guy that consistently produces and he instantly improves both units. Kick/punt TD or inside the red zone are potentially game and momentum changing plays. If you can get 5+ for the season , that could have a huge impact on your final record -
What if Rosen Ends Up In Miami?
JerseyBills replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think McDermott and this defense overwhelm him , kinda like we have with Tannehil basically his whole career -
McCloud and Miller not feeling too happy right now

I was really high on Ray Ray coming out as a gadget, do it all type player but he never . Down the stretch McKenzie totally took over his role . Hopefully he puts in some work and proves his worth but salute to Beane for adding 2 quality vets at WR , question mark in Duke Williams and potential rookie(s). Totally revamped this WR corps. I think Foster and Brown outside and Cole in the slot is the 1st string right now. Zay , McKenzie , Ray Ray , Duke , Roberts , Rookie? , Not too shabby depth. PS. - I'm very very very high on Foster. 6'2 with blazing game speed and reliable hands . As an UDFA rookie he could only get better too. I love his upside. Feel he could be a legit #1. -
This has to be worse than the Bills opening day WR roster. Wow.
-
He's trying to build what Beane has built in Buffalo. All bussiness , everybody is 1/11 and instill that culture . OBJ has been a locker room problem for the Giants . I feel his hands were tied but I don't understand the extension if they were planning this.

Not sure it's even a necessary move after our additions to the ol but he'd be an instant high end starter at RT but I really like the guy from Wash even though he's 33. Schrader can be the long term solution .
