  1. Agreed. He looked good doing non contact drills yesterday so hopefully it isn't severe and doesn't linger but def a concern. We need him in those pre season gms getting those reps with Allen
  2. I totally agree.. I was surrounded by mainly Giant fans on draft night. They all wanted either Josh Allen or Oliver at 6. I was just happy/shocked he was available at 9. Can't believe Set went with Hock at 8. We lucked out getting Oliver at 9 , like really lucked out , he was a top 3 player imo. I totally see alot of Dareus traits in Williams. Think he'll have a good career but not elite . Think sky's the limit for Oliver
  3. Thanks for the recap OP. I saw on Twitter that Oliver said having Kyle there was like a cheat code and he was just absorbing as much knowledge as possible. I loved that metaphor though. I really like this kids attitude. I'm not going to sugar coat it , I HATE the Jests. Born n raised in North Jersey I'm surrounded by Jet fans , so maybe that's swaying my opinion , but I just think Oliver>>Williams . Just their demeanors , the way I envision them practicing . Williams strikes me as a guy that doesn't enjoy the grind n was just physically dominant in college and was able to play great doing the minimal. That's not going to work at this level. ... Oliver strikes me as a true alpha , who's going to compete n try to improve everyday. We shall see! So siked I get to watch the boys live week 1 , there's some interesting story ines and it's a big game imo
  4. Appreciate the reviewI I'm not mad at their assessment at all. Don't agree with certain aspects but seems like a respectable take. If anyone knows if I can listen on demand if possible . Please post
  5. Against by far the best pass defense last year that lost zero starters and upgraded. Tough task.
  6. He's listed as a starter but that DT group is nowhere as good as when he first went to Jax. Good luck to him but good riddance. Just doesn't fit what we got going on here
  7. He was elite once he was named starter last year and obviously isn't having a hangover like Foster. This secondary is SICK. Johnson and Gaines would be depth right now ?. I like Siran Neal to have a big role as the 3rd S as well. We're stacked back there. Impressive that the O is keeping up and even taking it to the best pass defense from last year which only got better. There's literally optimism at every position group right now besides maybe TE but all 3 injured TE look like they'll be back sooner than later. Even heard Kroft is out his boot!
  8. I like the edge he plays with. I think he lands the last roster spot over McKenzie and becomes our gadget WR. End arounds , Jet sweeps , screens , etc . Just get him in space
  9. Ehh. Wayyy to early. This is day 3 in pads of his rookie season. I'd give it at least a couple weeks to get worried
  10. Ya and it's well known of his ridiculous on field i.q. Great speaker . Can't go wrong having him in the mix. Only thing I'm probably reading too much into - did McD and Co specifically ask him out there because they aren't satisfied with Oliver thus far?
  11. I agree. This is a deep , versatile line. They can really get creative on passing downs w/ Hughes, Murphy, Lorax, Shaq (Can play DT) , Oliver , both Phillips . I think Harrison is really good as well . That's a deep, talented unit!
  12. Warm take (cause it's actually a solid possibility of happening) John has a better year than Antonio Brown, leading us to the playoffs. Allen is going to make Brown look really good , and vice versa. Phenomenal pick up. Beasley/Smoke >>>>>AB I disagree about Brown. Dude can legit run the whole route tree. It's all about his health. Even in Arizona he was more than just a speedster but this is another deep positional group. We don't need a bonafide#1 imo.
  13. Was on Twitter last night , can't recover tweet right now but it was a national football media guy. Said Bills have deepest OL he has seen , 11 options , continued raving about their talent and depth . Thinks we are at least legit WC contenders. Interested what these guys think. I feel the national media is going to be shocked at our talent and depth.
  14. Ya I remember being super super disappointed for that one. With this defense though , they're going to be so easy to scheme for, I guess cause I listen to nyc sports talk and fans ,media all agree the team is absolute dumpster juice on O and D.
  15. Mia x 2 , Giants and Bengals looking like 4 Gimmes . Cupcake schedule compared to last year.
  16. I envision us destroying them. Like ugly. Showing we're on another level
  17. I'm born and raised in North Jersey . Been going to the Meadowlands with my buddies since I'm 18 , 10 years . I guess cause we roll pretty deep and I'm literally the only Bills fan in the group , I've never had issues but have seen other fans get into it. The tailgating is nowhere near Orchard Park. Hey fans seem to cause alot of issues in the stands, I've actually approached two groups , with my buddy Jet fans and told them they're with us and they laid off. I'll be there week 1 & 2 if anyone has questions, want to meet up or have any Bills tailgating sessions please hmu!
  18. Yea. That's what an elite front office has brought here. This is a DEEP team up and down , especially OL . And i love how these positional groups have a nice mix of vets and young guys. We're legit contenders imo. I doubt Beane and Co have any interest in Trent
  19. The last time we saw a fully healthy Murphy (2016 I believe) he was definitely a game changer. We shall see though. The talent is definitely there and with a pretty deep and talented line , should see plenty of 1 on 1 situations
  20. No Poyer either. Sad. The list in general isn't nearly as popular as it was though and it's cause a joke . Clowney was in the top 70 I believe.smh
  21. Big Baller Beane!! That video puts a smile on my face. Two guys I predict will be Bills for a long long time. Both just getting started on great careers
  22. True but their core players were together for 3-4 years before they got really good and developed that chemistry. I think there's way more examples of teams with big egos and troubled players crashing and burning than succeeding. Great coaching and leadership is crucial for them , going to be a tough job for a Rookie HC. They look good on paper but very top heavy imo , not much depth either.
  23. Same here man! Very well said. Beane and McD SHARE the same vision for success. They followed a very specific blueprint while building this roster after gutting it 3 years ago. They've carefully chosen FA and draft picks , placing a huge emphasis on character and leadership and not just talent alone. They also are damn good at what they do , I said it from day 1 and many times after , we struck gold landing both these guys. This roster is deep , talented and very very well coached. McD and Beane have built a team , I feel the Browns are just a collection of talent and like you said , I also feel people will see the difference when we go to Cleveland!
