  1. Oh wow didn't see that. You can delete. That thread should be bumped
  2. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/comp-pick-buffalo-bills-brandon-beane Alot of talk about comp picks and never looked at it this way but I totally agree and just another reason why Beane is just a phenomenal GM , in total control of this roster. Instead of reducing the player pool when adding talent to Buffalo’s roster, Beane has loaded up on free agents on bargain deals to create a competitive roster, often to the point of a surplus of talent at one position. Take last season for example. To fix the offensive line, Beane inked six unrestricted free agent offensive linemen, including making Mitch Morse the highest-paid center in NFL history. Veterans Spencer Long, Ty Nsekhe, Jon Feliciano, Quinton Spain and LaAdrian Waddle were also signed in addition to investing a high 2019 second-round selection on Oklahoma offensive tackle Cody Ford. Those moves were made with Dion Dawkins, Russell Bodine and Wyatt Teller already on the roster. Just before the season, Beane sent Bodine to the Patriots for a 2020 sixth-round pick and Teller to the Browns for 2020 fifth- and sixth-round picks. No, the Bills were not awarded any compensatory picks for this year's draft, but Beane created his own by building a competitive roster, having a surplus and trading away talent he was going to cut in exchange for draft capital. Just an excerpt , highly recommend reading.
  3. The rest of the division plays em too guys. This whole schedule is so much tougher narrative is overblown imo. Again , there's so much roster change (for other teams) and injuries , that it's just unpredictable.
  4. I feel the same and yes we have alot of young guys but there is also established vets at basically every position group but QB and RB . I see the o and DL taking big steps as well , I think we're legit Contenders in the AFC We have no clue how tough the schedule is! Everyone said this last year too .
  5. Pats lost alot of guys in the front 7
  6. Impressive. Still can't believe we got Diggs and Epensa in the late 2nd . We pick AJ at 22 and nobody blinks. Has him going 28 here to Baltimore.
  7. Yes, some might say he can Smoke 1 on 1 coverage
  8. I agree but McDermott values his leadership very highly . I'd guess around 20-25%. Maybe lower Especially since in the last half of season when Dabol started going 3 wide like 80% of the time
  9. Exactly . Epenesa was widely regarded as the best DE not named Chase Young. Don't think Buf passes on him if Dugger is available too. Much more valuable position and much safer pick
  10. Wow. . They'll be releasing some great talent next year. I'd love to ***** DE Graham
  11. I think Addison Ya I was going to reply the same. He's an elite DE, stops run as well. He's going to be tough to keep off the first unit. But ya , this line is deep and talented. This is the type of DLs u see playing in February. Alot of versatility and nastiness on them.
  12. It's cool but projecting how these rookies adapt to the NFL is nearly impossible and unpredictable. Always Huge busts and shockers , such as UDFA rookies outplaying a 1st rder . That's what makes the NFL and draft so great
  13. I mean , ya never know on development. Some guys , it just clicks , but ya he seems like he'll be inactive year 1 . Maybe be active for defenses they feel they can exploit that matchup on. But I think his ceiling is pretty high
  14. Absolutely. In a regular draft year without such talent at WR , he might have been an early 2. Kid sounds legit . Day 1 impact. Crazy I just said he'd be an early 2 in a normal year lol. The wr talent this year was insane
  15. That state of the art training facility could have been a deciding factor
  16. Geez , if he can develop a bit , that's a matchup nightmare. Especially with Diggs or Smoke next to you.
  17. This WR room suddenly looks really nice and versatile. And Diggs,Brown,Beez are all business and are great mentors for the young guys
  18. I types his name on Twitter and after not going in day 2 , ppl were saying he'd be the steal of the draft. UCF fans covet him and I see all positives about him, really upped my expectations. Saying he plays like Mike Evans
  19. To me it's confirmation bias. I truly believe this is a Superbowl roster. Loved the Diggs trade , 2 rookie WR with high ceilings and upgraded our DL more than ppl are saying , they were weakest unit on defense. Great draft Also Joseph the 4th Rd LB from Florida is basically a rookie too!
  20. I know he gets flack on here but I'd rather have Murphy at his contract then Clowney at his and we're loaded on the DL besides that. I forgot , Hughes lost a step , according to many on here. The same guy that had 3 sacks and 4 hurries in the Wildcard game against the highest paid LT in the league.. This DL is going to be greatly improved. Addison is a big time upgrade. QJeff was an upgrade. Harry is back. Butler is an upgrade . Oliver should be playing at an all pro level . ?. And now AJ , we're loaded and extremely versatile
  21. It was clearly our biggest team fault , WR rarely got yac it seemed and Beane kept saying all off season , he wants TD makers, a guy that can take a 5 yard pass 80 yards. . Well he certainly wasn't lieing , these 2 rookies have a ton of potential. Exactly! This WR /RB group will be a massive upgrade from last year. We have so much versatility with the addition of these rookies. Can't wait
  22. His drop rate was 1.1% ??? Holy smokes. At 6'4 and moving like that , wow that's impressive
  23. I think Roberts is to valuable on ST to not make the team also. I LOVE it. This was the 1 group really lacking depth , Foster/McKenzie/Duke get to compete . Steel sharpens steel. Love the approach, may the best guys win .
