The Athletic: Expert NFL stadium rankings
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ya I like MetLife. I live in NJ , about 15 min away from the stadium. I was at the opening XFL game there, had field access and it was an amazing experience. You can watch from field, or the stands and have a restaurant/bar right there on field level. Overall I feel it's a significant upgrade over the Meadowlands -
PHI Eagles projected to be $40+M over the cap in 2021

Lol. I meant Brandon Graham , DE -
I see alot of comments very upset and saying they're done with the NFL. Is this further dividing things? I personally don't have a big issue with it but I don't like politics in my sports. Thoughts? https://www.yahoo.com/sports/-nfl-to-play-black-national-anthem-before-the-star-spangled-banner-at-week-1-games-211305337.html

He was on a 3 gm win streak to his and Pits credit. But ya, that was easy $ for this defense. -
2 Tampa Bay Bucs test positive for Covid-19
JerseyBills replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't want a political shouting match , but I completely disagree. I don't see much that can be done to control or contain this virus. If he started a quarantine earlier, cases would just spike when restrictions are lifted , as we're seeing. The virus wouldn't have went away , it would literally be the exact same outcome. Vaccination seems to be the only hope to getting life back to completely normal. -

I'm slowly coming to the realization there will be no NFL season. It's heartbreaking, with the Bill's being the favorite to win the division for the 1st time in my adult life but just a hard truth I'm going to have to accept -

No bail either. Once the inmates find out his charges , and they will , he'll either be constantly fighting or moved to AdSeg , or "The Hole" , where he'll be alone in a tiny cell for 23 hours a day. -
Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
JerseyBills replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True or not , none of us know who Fromm really is , except those close to him. I've joked like this to close friends, especially in my early 20s , but never had a racist bone in my body. I'd imagine it being very hard going through high school and college with a bunch of mixed teammates, as the QB , and truly being a racist. -
Interesting, even his teammate Mike Thomas took a shot at him.. I personally agree with Brees regarding the flag . I also hate that athletes are held to a higher standard on social justice issues. They play ball for a living , and their opinions hold as much weight as yours or mine. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/drew-brees-addresses-nfl-players-kneeling-in-2020-i-will-never-agree-with-anybody-disrespecting-the-flag-164423496.html

Any other teams training together?
JerseyBills replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I Ya I imagine there's more as well. Either way we have an advantage on O and D because of all the returning starters . Especially over teams looking for rookies to make an impact. Diggs , Moss and Davis are really the only guys on O that are new , as well as Maybe 1 new starter on the OL. The defensive additions of Addison , Butler and Norman all played in this scheme. -
It's an interesting concept , I'm sure the coaches have discussed all the possible ways to use Big Ed . I remember about a month ago, Chris Brown saying that he feels they'll even kick Oliver out to DE , because of the depth at DT and the ability for QJeff and Epenesa to kick inside and Olivers explosiveness for his size should give OTs trouble

Allen passing to Diggs connection looking strong already!!!!

Josh Allen is training with Bills receivers in Florida
JerseyBills replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's QB/TE/RB/WR And Dawkins I believe is only OL Missing Zack Moss/Dimarco and a cpl others but ya got almost every skill position guy , which is just great and shows these guys care and want to Win! Observations- *Davis and Hodgins are HUGE WR, would love to see both of them make the cut. *Great to see Croom back and healthy. Always thought he had potential, he's going to be fighting for a spot , love the competition though at #3 TE. *Motor looks like he bulked up ! Looks like a Beast! Wonder if he wants to add some more power to his game? Punish defenders a bit more? *Overall the O should make a massive jump. Compared to going into last year , we have a our new RB1(Motor) , TE1 (Knox) and WR1 (Diggs). All while adding depth at every position , including OL and not losing ONE player we wanted to keep! -
Another list that is completely ridiculous from PFF.. How is a guy like Kyle Williams not on here?!? Their formula and rankings don't correlate to the best NFL players.
-
I don't think missing OTAs is going to hurt him as much as you're saying though. It's his 2nd season , and he's in the same scheme, with the same coaches , so he should be fine. Now Missing Training camp , I would agree. Any young player will benefit from OTAs but they all missed the same amount. I'm sure they questioned QJeff about Clowney , but I'm sure they did a deep dive for a long time regarding his fit and I just don't think he is
-
I mean I agree he needs to improve , as I said , should take a jump , but this is just not a fair statement imo. He only played 20% ish of the snaps , but he flashed potential , but neither of us know what he's doing during the off season this far. Yes it doesn't help any player that they can't use the world class training facility but how do we know Johnson doesn't have a personal trainer and is putting in some serious work? How do we know he isn't studying film as directed by his coaches? We don't know so I just feel that's a bit unfair to make that assumption. Fortunately , with this depth , we don't necessarily need be him to have a role on this line , if he hasn't improved. Addison,Hughes,Murphy ,Epenesa , Jefferson are all likely ahead of him. Just feel he's at least good potential depth in case of injuries
-
I just saw this and was going to post , great article, unlike some sites that grade and rank guys using who knows what criteria , *cough* PFF *cough* Nick Shook explained exactly how he came up with his top 10 and I agree with the criteria he used. White forced the lowest Average Separation Yards at 2.1! "White forced a tight window at a higher rate than the two Patriots above him on this list even though he played press coverage at a much lower rate." "He stashes himself in a receiver's hip pocket and refuses to leave it, and his ballhawk rate (20.2 percent) is close to that of Gilmore, the No. 1 player on this list. Enough said." White is such a stud , it was apparent since day 1 of his rookie season. I can't wait to see him and Diggs in Camp , they're just going to make each other that much better! Steel Sharpens Steel!

I guess I still am in the minority with Star and Murphy. I feel both are solid , not game changers but good at what they do and fit the culture. I don't think either will be here next year and this year can groom the young guys on the DL, Johnson , Epenesa , Oliver , Dirty Harry. Having great depth and cap room , we have the LUXURY of keeping two solid vets , that again, aren't going to make the flashy plays , but will do their job , their 1/11th and fill their role. I think we massively upgraded the DL overall. Addison, QJeff and Butler >>>> Shaq/J Phillips. Also throw in Epenesa , a 1st Rd talent at DE, Johnson who should take a jump in year 2 and this is a super deep and talented DL and upgraded nicely imo. . Murphy has been a bit inconsistent but finished the last 7-8 games playing pretty good football. I just don't think Clowney fits the culture and isn't necessary for this roster. We're set on the DL! I'm happy with the super productive, reliable and guy familiar with the scheme/HC in Addison. He's going to really surprise ppl with how good he is.

Rewatching the ravens game tonight
JerseyBills replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With our upgrades on O and how our D matches up with their O , i think it's neck n neck basically. I feel like our defense and Titans defense really exposed them , I mean they were so dominant on O prior to our matchup. You stop the run and make Lamar beat you with his arm and they aren't so dominant after all. And they were throwing alot of Cover 0 and blitzing the heck outta Allen. Add Diggs to the mix and I don't see that happening. It'll be a helluva matchup! -

JerseyBills replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like that Pitt and Hou aren't up there. We were neck n neck with Hou last year but we upgraded and they downgraded imo. And ppl are acting like the almost 40 year old Big Ben is just going to come back and be his old self, after ANOTHER major injury. Pitts defense is still great , but that O is a major question mark. I believe Buff is the 3rd best AFC team right now and I believe the gap between us and Bal is closer than most think. Interested to see if that OL is as dominant without one of the best Gs in the game (Yanda, retired) . We played them super tough. You give us our upgrades in that game and I feel we win. We have the personnel to shut down Lamar and their run game . Feels great to be a legit AFC contender!! -
Not bad . Not good either. Just hope this is an eye opener for him and makes him re-evaluate his decision making , grow stronger , more mature.
-
Luckily we are stacked inside on the DL. Harry,Star,QJeff,Butler and Epensa can all play DT but I had Big Ed pegged to have a huge year. Pro Bowl year. He really progressed nicely last year. 4th NFL player this week. We're talking 20 something year olds with millions in the bank and no responsibilities besides virtual meetings. It's a recipe for disaster. Anyone know the expected suspension time for this type of incident? Should have been at OTAs. ? Coronavirus

Zack Moss runs a 4.52 40 yard dash
JerseyBills replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just have a gut feeling he's going to be an extreme productive RB. He reminds me of Mark Ingram. Singletary, I believe is a stud. I know this is a bit of a stretch, considering he has only played a few games but he reminds me of the great Edgarin James mixed with Leveon Bell. Bottom line, I expect a highly improved Run game overall from the Bills. People always fail to bring up the sub par run game Allen has had as a starter. Meanwhile guys in his QB class like Baker and Lamar have had elite run games to take pressure off the pass. Adding an established #1 in Diggs to the pass game as well and we could easily be looking at a Top 10 or better offense! With the #2 defense behind then , being upgraded as well , watch out!! Moss is going to be wonderful , perfect fit for Buffalo. 4th qtr , defense a bit tired , they might be thinking twice about attacking Moss and becoming a highlight reel!
