Good read. Thanks for the link. Imo, the biggest takeaway was the quote from the AFC exec who said even though Metcalf is limited in the routes he can run, that may be enough for some team. I get that sentiment, but I don’t agree with it at the NFL level where superior schemes and athletes on defense make one dimensional receivers even less effective. -

I never much cared for Torts until I saw the Rangers featured in the HBO series “24/7 Road to the Winter Classic” vs the Flyers years ago. I’ve been a fan of his ever since.

Fair point. Same was said when he was at Alabama, first as a walk on and later as a scholarship player. He was the CB offenses targeted given all of ‘Bama’s other DB talent and he just kept getting better. My money is in Wallace to stay on the trajectory he’s on.

I had the same three in mind as well. Risto, Skinner, and Eichel (when he’s inspired) can all play with the required edge for sure.

Well, trees are 90% air, so it shouldn’t be a problem getting out of the woods. Question on sine I haven’t played or followed golf closely in a while, why is it ok to leave the pin in when putting from the green?

On a team full of suckitude, Montour is the last guy to point a finger at. His metrics since his arrival were near elite status for a defenseman. He’s an offensive force that drives play from the blue line. What this team needs are defenseman that can mix it up and clear the front of the net to pair with guys like Montour, Pilut, and Dahlin.
