Incredible athlete but is now 31. He had breakaway speed. If he still has some juice, could bring some competition. hasn’t had a ton of return opportunities but the skill set is there. Beane was in Carolina when they brought him in. I’d assume he was brought in to see if he’s able to return

Thanks for correcting me. Sorry that I spread false info. Osborn and Bourne are proven. It’s funny how we never talked about how meaningful 600 yard seasons are until now. If that’s the case- Samuel, MVS and Claypool are also “proven”. Samuel and claypool both have higher YPG and catches per game than Osborn and Bourne. MVS averages more YPG than the average of Bourne and Osborn.

QB- same- but I think Trubisky is better than Kyl Allen RB- while I don’t think the needle moves a ton as Davis is a rookie, I think he’s an upgrade over Murray- better WR- worse with the potential to be as good if not better. TE- better- same players but Kincaid will be better. OL- worse- I think McGovern-Morse is better than Edwards- McGovern. Maybe Torrance and Brown improve and even things out, but they weren’t very good on Saturday. DL- tough call- I think the DTs are better this season. We also missed daquan most of the season. The edge rushers will probably be similar as long as Von can produce some. LBs- better- Milano back, Bernard and Williams with another year. Morrow, Spector and Jones all seem to be decent depth CB- better- slightly- I think elam will be improved and contribute this season. Benford will be improved. Douglas very solid. Losing tre doesn’t count imo. Seems like we have a legit backup for Taron with Hardy S- worse. Bishop could change that, but we don’t know much of anything about him as a pro yet. what will matter more than all of this: OC- tbd DC- tbd the great unknown that will be a great determiner of our success imo.

I actually spaced on Osborn- completely forgot about him. So what’s your point? He’s a better candidate for the Bills roster than NE’s and you think we should sign him?

people can also point to him trying to leave the stadium prematurely after the Cinci playoff loss. That’s being a poor teammate and much worse than just demanding more of teammates. you state that kids need thicker skin, but Diggs needs to have more self control and grow up. Trying to storm out of the stadium is akin to throwing a tantrum.

And juju has a serious knee injury and was just cut by the patriots even though he was the only proven WR on their roster. At this point, Matthews might even be faster than Juju at this point. But sure- highlight the one point and disregard the others. “More proven” is the term you used…..as if that means something. He is “more proven”- and also more broken and more washed up. Players can go from great to retired in a year or two. more proven means nothing

He’s more proven than anyone on the packers roster. He’s more proven than anyone on the chiefs roster. He’s more proven than anyone in the Jets roster. He’s more proven than anyone on the ravens roster. I could keep going. Jordan Matthew’s is more proven than anyone on this Bills roster too. He’s playing for the Panthers. He’s had multiple 900+ hard seasons too! Git er dun somehow you manage to say the same thing in every poast you make. I’m the worst. Yes.

Could be right. I’m not sold on him- the jury is still out. I was just refuting the claim that he’s a proven failure to date.

Pretty much what i expected with the loss of Diggs and not getting anything in return for him in 2024.

Imo, If this also happens in week 2 and 3- then maaaaaybe there’s something to worry about. The Steeler game last year was abysmal- and we got the 2 seed.

You can look at it like that. Shane Buechele and the backup OL were god awful 💯. If you think that this will impact our season, you have every right to be upset. The bears had 6 points with 8 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. 13 going into the 4th. The defense wasn’t terrible for 3 quarters. The depth that matters on D got stops. Zero Tds given up. It wasn’t nearly as bad as the final score- 21 points (7 on d) vs 95%+ of players that won’t be on the team in a few weeks. The giants beat the lions. The titans beat the niners. The jags beat the chiefs. The Bucs beat the bengals. None of this matters. It’s my opinion that the biggest reason preseason games still exist is $. Exactly 👌 Some people just like to cry and whine

I thought the second one was super close- could’ve gone either way, due to where the throw was. If it was out in front of him, it’s an easy TD. Instead, the throw forced Keon into the defensive back. After watching it several times, I think the db plays through the ball. Some contact, but the throw forced the contact imo.

Superstar in the making as long as he gets the proper coaching. He makes throws that only the special arm talents can make and he has great wheels

Correct. Nothing in this game gives us hope….and I didn’t expect anything to give us hope. my only take aways from this game- -the OL could be a big concern. -our WRs are going to be gangbusters blocking downfield. -Shane Buechele is terrible. - most of guys that are going to get cut should be cut. Brady and Babich will make it break our season- that was my belief going into the game and nothing has changed or had a possibility to change after the game. It’s week 1 preseason

I agree- cook will move on after his contract- although I don’t think he’s going to get that kind of money. I think he’ll get something closer to what Miles Sanders got with Carolina- around 8M aav. I don’t see the RB market going up very much

I’m at work- was able to watch the 1st qtr. was the OL 💩? Anyone focus on Edwards/mcgovern? Seems like they got wrecked when we ran left? We’ll need better from the run game.

Juju was a product of Big Ben/AB and Mahomes/reid imo. An above average WR that has been in the right place at the right time for a few years. I know he hasn’t had a 900 yard year yet, but I’d take Shakir over him any day 💯 poor association

Nah- he’ll be TE2 in 2025. 14M cap- 16M dead cap. But he’ll be gone in 26 unless he takes a substantial pay cut
