  1. On the other hand, it would’ve been nice to face the juggernaut running team with Hoecht and Ogunjobi.
  2. I’d give the nod to Shakir because he’s a freak with the ball in his hands
  3. It will put a target on the Bills back? Seriously? As if we don’t already have a target on our back. We have the best player in the league and this team is an unquestioned powerhouse. The target is already there. Hard knocks or not. I get why people don’t want to be on the show, but the show putting a target on our backs is not one of them
  4. I get all of that. My point still stands. If it was all about money, I think Beane should’ve paid him. If it’s all about usage, there’s nothing he could’ve done to keep him. If Moore proves to be a key contributor, I’ll be proven wrong. I haven’t seen 11.6M either, so if that is the case - end discussion.
  5. Yes- I know all of this. My point is that IT’s MY OPINION, that we’re going to miss what he brings to the table and he should’ve paid him- because we paid a malcontent that can’t block (or likely play ST) 1M less gtd. I’m happy that we added some speed with Moore. I think Hollins is better for our team.
  6. Standing on the sideline as much? He led our WRs in snaps
  7. As a 31 year old WR on a 2 year contract…. You’d rather join a team with zero percent chance to win the SB over those 2 years and join a bunch of guys you’ve never played with before. 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe he just loves McDaniel and would rather play with him. If that’s the case, no fault on Beane. Whoever it may be- Mack made big plays catching passes and blocking for long gains
  8. No- that’s like being our best WR in our season biggest game. Making plays in the biggest game of the year….. that’s why we haven’t won a SB. Because we haven’t made enough plays in the biggest games.
  9. Nah- he doesn’t have the same blocking capabilities. Gabe is a good blocker. He’s not as good of a blocker. Just because Gabe was a good blocking WR, doesn’t mean that they are comparable in this way. One was paid 13M. The other 4M. Macks play last year was 💯 worth 4.2M. And it would’ve been this year too if he were on the Bills. I’ll bet that we see NE throw 10 passes to Treyveon with Mack out there mauling people. He was also one of our best ST players. How quick? He could’ve went to take a dump, called Beane, told him the numbers and matched or not. or maybe he just didn’t want to come back….. taking everything into consideration, I can’t see that being the case
  10. Heard and was our best WR in the afccg
  11. Disagree- All good Did he say that they matched NE’s offer and he chose NE? My money is Mack took the best offer and it wasn’t Beanes. Can’t blame a 31 year old journeyman WR for taking the most money.
  12. I miss Mack Hollins. 😢 I think Beane made a big mistake not bringing him back. Considering what we paid Elijah Moore for 1 year, Mack would’ve been worth the extra chunk next season. 3.5M gtd. 4M cap hit in 2025. Vs 2.5M for Moore. I have hopes Moore can contribute, I just don’t think he’ll have a big of an impact as Mack. Shakir will miss him more anyone. Or maybe it’ll be Hammer Hawes in there pounding people. Just felt the need to vent.
  13. His point is- Ladd is not strictly an inside guy. You disagree. End story.
  14. If he had 3 more catches he would’ve been #2 in the nfl in yards per reception. Making big plays is what he did in college. He also made big plays last season. He posterized a plus tall and lanky corner in woolen. I expect him to get better. I think that’s fair to say about many players.
  15. I believe wholeheartedly that most people believe that the chances are greater that a 22 year old (as he turned 22 today) #33 overall pick improves from year one to year two. Does that mean he’s definitely going to improve? Definitely not….there’s definitely a chance they are what they are, but I feel the majority expect these type of players to improve. I do in most cases.
  16. I skipped to the last page of this thread- so apologies if I’m ignorant to the conversation in chiming in on. Keon was looking like a playmaker in the nfl prior to his injury. I was pleasantly pleased with his performance. I think most of us were. He looked like dog crap after the injury, so the question mark remains….but I don’t see why we shouldn’t be optimistic based on some of his sample size. He couldn’t get open in college….but he produced. He made big plays. Capable of making big plays in the NFL- regardless of whether or not he’s getting a lot of separation
  17. I heard someone say something like the the last 10 or so champions had a bye week 8 or 9 or later
  18. The value, imo, is fluid. It may not be worth it 3 years in a row, but if we win a SB in year 4- I think it’s worth it.
  19. There isn’t any unknown to Badol. He knows all. Just ask him
  20. 🙄 or maybe he has no intention of paying him anything because paying top dollar to RBs isn’t in his DNA
  21. @ Miami nov 9th. Love it
  22. I could see that in 2026. Rapp knows the system like the back of his hand at this point. It’ll take Hancock some time to catch up. Maybe by the playoffs 🙏🏻
  23. Most media speaking of him as an upgrad to Cam Lewis. Seems like the perfect starting point
  24. You’re suggesting we trade up for a RB in rd 4 and try to stash him on the PS. Even if we were able to stash him, I’d rather have walker and Hancock (the RB would’ve been selected over one of them) than a RB with speed Makes much more sense to draft one next year if cook leaves. We’d get to abuse him for 4 years rather than 3. He’d be RB4 on a team that rosters 3 RBs. Hancock looks legit.
