A point that I don’t dabble in very much because it’s pretend make believe stuff that will never happen. my point is that Shanahan has choked multiple times, 3 times to be exact- in 2nd half/4th qtr of the Super Bowl. He choked with a 28-3 lead while having an actual MVP QB under center. I’m done here. Have fun playing pretend.

SF was a SB team because he hasn’t been in Mahomes’ conference. Flip the Bills into the NFC and Allen and Mahomes would’ve had at least a couple SB matchups. Put Shanny in the AFC and he has zero appearances. Indeed

Yes- Brock bowers- a much more highly regarded TE (seen as a top 10 or higher talent in most eyes) is better than Dalton Kincaid. I’ve never disputed that. Great comparison. Please find all the poor Brock Bowers/Dalton Kincaid comparisons I’ve made- more crickets. 🙄 here’s the difference between me and some others- I own being wrong all the time. I own being wrong before people call me out and laugh at some of my bad takes. Others disappear- crickets. Kincaid hasn’t impressed this season. Lots to do with being the TE thrown the most uncatchable passes in the nfl- lots to do with his drops. Lots to do with being under utilized. I believe he has the lowest ratio of contested catches amongst TE. That’s a good stat- as he’s always getting separation. He also has a good amount of drops.

The topic at hand is beating Reid and Mahomes. So I would beg to differ. Mcds resume vs Reid and Mahomes is obviously MUCH better. Not even close shanny and lynch were able to make to Super bowls because they didn’t have to face Reid and Mahomes in the conference playoffs. If they would have- they would have zero SB appearances

Fortunate to be in playoff contention. Not just Super Bowl contention. Does he hurt them if he sits on the PS? Micah is a leader of men and has the highest football iq in the safety room. Who knows if he’ll play or not, but I’m positive that he’ll make a positive impact in our locker room and sitting in the safety room each and every day. If we win a Sb, he gets a ring. I hear ya- but he had more talent all around the board at solid QB play- and then his play calling goes to **** in the 2nd half and his teams lose. but I do agree that shanny is one of the best in the business- I just wouldn’t choose him to be “the guy” to beat Reid/mahomes.

Shanny and lynch? You mean the tandem that has never ever beaten Mahomes and has lost 2 super bowls to them? Mcd/beane have at least shown that they can beat them- a bunch of times. mcd/beane get ripped for not being able to beat them in the playoffs- losing 3 times to them- why wouldn’t the same apply to shanny/lynch….a tandem that hasn’t beaten them ever? I’m a big fan of shanny/lynch. But they are lesser to McDermott in not being able to beat the all time hc/qb combo- Reid/mahomes. Belechick/brady. Losing 3 times in the SB because his offense couldn’t do anything in the 2nd half.
