What do you mean we can’t win even when we have the best QB- we’ve won playoff games with the best QB…… we just lost lost 1 (13 secs). I don’t have much confidence in any team winning when the QB is bad (like Allen in the 20 and 22 losses). If this 2023 team is relatively healthy- I think we can beat anyone as long as allen isn’t bad. So yes, I have confidence that we can win in the playoffs if Allen plays well, but slightly worse than the opposing QB. the rosters we fielded in the 20 and 22 playoff losses were lesser than our opponents imo. I feel this roster is better than every team in the AFC…..when healthy.

Coaching the year before. Coaching, OL and defense the year before that. Josh played poorly in 2 of the last 3 season ending losses

And the talent we put on the field that day wasn’t close to being good enough to stop the reigning AFC champions- stay healthy- the current talent level on our defense is the best it’s ever been under McD. I think our defensive play calling will also be better than it’s been under McD. I expect our overall defensive stats to take dip in ppg and ypg due to the offenses that we’re facing- i also expect a better showing come the playoffs as long as injuries don’t cripple our talent level again

They were enough to beat KC last season. You’re remembering the roster after being decimated with injuries. Not the team we had to start the season. Plus 2 new potential starters on the IOL and a potential top tier TE/ slot. Potential that we hope is realized sooner rather than later. We just need key players to stay healthy and we have as good a chance as anyone

I would say that it’s right in the middle of both of your opinions- partially on McD for blowing that PC. Partially on the media based on Diggs’ sideline rant. Without McDs comment- this isn’t as big of a deal. Without Diggs’ rant and the medias lust for clickbait, this isn’t as big of a deal. It would’ve been something- but the combination of McDs comments and the medias lust made it bigger than I think it should have been

Good points- personally- I’d rather have the draft pick and cap room. regarding the red zone- I don’t think we’ll ever see cook and Hines on the field at the same time.

I’d rather just give those touches to cook. It’s not like he’s going to get overworked. Harris is going to get his carries, there’s no doubt in my mind. Giving cook those snaps you speak of intended for Hines gives us better productivity (imo) and saves us a roster spot. If we think we have other solid options in the return game, I would hope we move on and get a late round pick in return. I was really excited about landing a guy with his speed and explosiveness. I’m down on him based on what I saw him do on offense wearing a Bills uniform. He’s got game…. I just think cook has a lot more and would rather give him those reps

So many memorable moments at the Fredonia training camp. It was like watching real life super heroes as a 7-8 year old.
