Oh I agree. Don’t get me wrong. I love the trade. Can start on the outside and can play the slot if Taron gets hurt. It would’ve been even better if we could’ve gotten a LB too.

Johnson had two prices and that why he wasn’t traded imo. The bears set a high price and his contract was up + he reportedly wants really big bucks. we traded down 50ish picks and got a solid versatile corner that excels in zone. We traded down 50ish picks for him

Sure hope so. I was really hoping we’d eliminate the Dodson/Rapp pairing by adding someone at LB. Douglas is a big corner, maybe they can move him into rapps spot when they want to go 6 DBs. He can play inside and out. We were one CB injury away from season over. Just a great trade. - been listening to a couple packers podcasts talking about the trade- 99% are either sad (because they think he’s good and wanted to keep him long term) or happy for him (to be traded for a contender). Many said that they loved watching him play. I love that.

No, their D isn’t what it was. Wilks has brought them down a couple notches imo. He doesn’t seem to have a good grasp on when and how to bring 5+. Their pass rush should be better than ever with the additions of Hargrove, Gregory and a 2nd year Drake Jackson… but they’re much worse than last year. Losing Ryans was big

I agree…… I just don’t think there’s any chance of getting a DT that was playing as good as Daquan. Dude was playing at a top 5 level before his injury. He was really wrecking ball this season

The chiefs fans I know couldn’t care less about Tyreek after they won the SB last year. I’m definitely rooting for the Chiefs!! 👍🏻 eager to see what Spags has for the mcdaniel offense. But it seems like he holds back all of his best stuff until the playoffs

Could be wrong, but I feel that most chiefs fans would rather lose to Tyreek than to Josh allen again. They traded Tyreek and won another SB in the first year. I don’t see any grudges. Meanwhile most chiefs fans hate Josh Allen.

I remember some people all up in arms that we took Rousseau over him (Joe Tryon) and Jason Oweh after year one. I’ll take Rousseau over those guys every day

No thanks edit: I replied thinking the player was Jaylon Johnson. Surtain, I see why they want so much. He still have next year under contract plus his 5th year option. Elam and 2nd for Johnson could be a great move long term

Depends on who else lose via FA and sign via FA. We could for sure. This seems like the move imo. would love a LB too though. The Dobson/Rapp timeshare has been putrid to my eye It takes great luck for anyone to go all the way imo.
