I disagree with a lot of what Vivek Ramaswamy says here, though there’s some uncomfortable truth there, too. But here’s the thing. I don’t want to throw Vivek out of the America First movement. I’m not mad because he said some things I don’t agree with. We’re building a new coalition and we’re not all going to agree on everything all the time. We need to act like adults and debate things, even uncomfortable things. We’re not leftists. We’re not gonna cry when somebody says something we don’t necessarily agree with. We’re gonna figure it out. And that’s why we’re gonna win.

Ward Clark The United States federal government is one of, if not the, largest debtors on the planet, currently holding $36 trillion in debt. That's a "T" followed by a "rillion." The United States federal government is also one of, if not the, largest landowner on the planet, currently holding over 615 million acres through various agencies, like the Bureau of Land Management, the Forest Service, various national parks and monuments, and so on. Thomas Sowell, economist, economic philosopher, commentator, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution, professor of economics at several major universities, and one of the smartest people on the planet, has proposed a way that one of these things can be used to help address the other. In short: Sales of federal land could be used to pay down the debt. We aren't talking a few hundred acres, either. The Western states in particular include a lot of federal lands. Nevada is 80 percent federal land. Utah, 63 percent, Idaho, 62 percent, and Alaska (amazingly) is in 4th place, with 60.9 percent - although we have far and away the greatest total amount, with over 222 million acres held by the federal government; that's about a third of the total amount of federal landholdings. Congress Must Expose the Senility Coup by Daniel Greenfield At some point in the last four years, the president ceased to be. We do not yet know the date at which the man holding the office became incompetent to carry out his duties. What we do know is that his entire administration engaged in a concerted conspiracy to cover up his incapacity. This conspiracy was not just one of the many lies told for political purposes: it was a coup. As America’s political class grows sicker, we have witnessed the spectacle of members of Congress who are institutionalized or so decrepit that they no longer know where they are, ‘sponsoring legislation’ and ‘casting votes’. These are not just deceptions: they are crimes. The United States has a representative government of elected officials who are the only ones entitled to wield their powers. Voters do not elect staffers and staffers are not empowered to wield legislative power only to provide advice and assistance to qualified elected officials. Staffers who not only cover up the mental decline of an elected official, but who act in his or her name, are seizing power from the people and acting on their own behalf. This is a coup. Under the 25th Amendment, Vice President Kamala Harris and cabinet members were required to notify Congress once they realized that President Biden was incapacitated. They did not do so. Another downward revision in the Biden jobs numbers and it's a doozy Monica Showalter Ahead of President Trump taking office on Jan. 20, Bidenomics is still with us. Joe crowed about all the 16 million jobs he'd 'created' in his speech five days ago, patting himself on the back. It was stolen valor. Turns out his jobs numbers look like this: No net new jobs at all? Job growth negative, jobs lost left and right? And what a coincidence, it happened just as election was on -- phony numbers for a political purpose -- right about when they had a plan to elect a Democrat. This isn't the first time they've revised jobs and other economic indicators downward after first reporting them as impressive, indicating signs of growth -- which is politically advantageous to Biden. Back in July and as I recall, September, Biden was doing the same thing -- fake numbers to get a market boost, then, months later, the real ones. Now the revisions are in and suddenly Biden's record is not so hot. Why anyone believes any of his numbers at all when they come out at this point is a mystery.
