For me it has to be Vernon Davis- he will put points on the board. You can get a run stuffer later in the draft or FA -and if we are playing a 2 deep Zone system then there are a lot of Safety's in this draft that can impact right away. Bullock the kid from Nebraska has talent almost equal to Huff. also the kid from Penn St ETC. We don't have to jump on Huff if we are going to use a two deep zone.

Just to refresh everyone memories this post is what started it all and until Simon is man enough to say that he should not have jumped all over this kid for a statement that was not serious enough to respond to in the first place then this post shall go on. This kid has nothing to apologise for. He did not call anybody any names and he did not disagree with what was said. Simon is the one who should apologise. He did not even ask about the meaning of the post. He just started calling people names and then expects that he can get away with it. I'm sick of this guy going around and doing that to people and then leaving the board. He has no right to call somebody the names that he called this kid over a post that was an answer to nothing in general. If the moderators on this board can't controll themselves from thinking that they can do and say whatever they want to - too whom ever they want to then we all have a problem. Simon is the problem not this kid. Because he is a Vet on this board it does not mean he has the right to bully new people to the board.

It is strange how you had to check with your wife before you answered the post. Also - you seem to have a problem with calling people names when you can't answer a post with a reasonable answer. You also have a habit of reading into the original meaning of a post and then not admitting to it. Is there something that you are not telling all of us? Did you come from a worn torn country so you now have the knowlege that we all lack in understanding what these too lucky kids have gone through in their past? I got an idea! Lets draft all sleepers from small schools and pass on all the players from big schools with proven records and a better chance of making it at the next level. Man that would be cool and we would really outsmart everybody else. I can't stand crap like this. I know it sounds cool but really! Both these players have good potential but looking for them instead of bigger and better players from bigger schools cuts down the chance of falure.

Oh - Since you have been to this area all of a sudden you are right and he is wrong. I don't think so! Because there are places that sell things to people it means the area is safe? I too have been down to that area many days and when you ride your bike or go on foot down there in the dark instead of the day time maybe you would not be so quick to tell others what they feel or don't feel. When you get held up with a gun to your head after dark maybe that - oh so safe feelling about seeing a Checkers or a White Castle will leave you real fast. Nobody be-littled anybody that I saw and I read all of the post. You reacted to what somebody was suggesting- that this story means nothing in the scheem of things that are going on at the combine. If anybody belittled anybody it was you. The post suggesting that it was a story that they saw in Life magazine was (I think) meant as a --- what does that matter post. Not making fun of anybody. I think it was meant to say everybody has a hard luck story and just when you think you have heard a bad one somebody else can come along and top it. At least that's what I got from the post. You owe the little weasle white lawyer kid an apology for flying off the way you did. That's just my take on the whole thing.

These guys might have been less fortunate at one time in thier lives but they certainly are not now. Feeling sorry for what they might have gone through is like me telling you my sad up bringing and having it matter at all. There are plenty of people with tough up bringings that do not take things for granted. These kids are not much different then a lot of kids that go through just as bad situations in this country. I know kids that have lived through drive bys and they still are not as lucky as these two kids are. They don't go to a nice college and have the chance to make big sums of money. You should feel sorry for them. These two boys are moving on with their lives and going to do very well thank you very much.

At # 8 it's all about getting an impact player on either side of the ball. That is the most imprtant thing. It's nice to get an impact player at a need position but you have to be open minded to all possibilities. Vernon Davis going down the slot on third down opens the whole offense up. His potential impact on our offense would add for a bigger output of points on the score board. That helps a defense as much as anything else. We have had no impact TE since The K Gun days. Our offense sucks as far as being able to score from anyplace on the field except for Evans. Davis would be a great addition. We can get DT's later on in this draft along with LB's but speed like this in a kid that is 265 lbs is rare. This kid is an impact player just on speed alone.

How does that make any sense at all? He either has great hands or he doesn't. You guys have got to think after you read these profiles and ask yourself if it makes sense. That profile does not make sense. If he drops balls it does not matter if it is down field or not. All that matters is that he drops balls. The yardage does not mean a thing. As far as I know he is very sure handed. The only time I have seen him drop balls is when he wants to take off too soon before he catches the ball. That can be addressed with out a problem.

Yea for the second round. There all just putting out feelers. Greenway is not an impact player. He is not a top ten player. He is a top fifteen or twenty but not a top ten.

Because you want them to trade with the Bills not in front of us. Again we are drafting #8 we will get a good player no matter who falls to us unless teams don't take the QB's. If they don't take the QB's you want to be ready for a deal. Remember Brady Quinn is comming out next year. You just might be trading back a few spaces this year and picking up a first next year that could put you in a position to pick Brady Quinn! So you want teams to trade with you. Not in front of you with another team.

If he falls to the 2nd round it would be a great pick. Or if we move back in the first somewhere around the teens but not at #8. I'd take Michael Huff at #8 before I would take Greenway.
