  1. A very nice condensending answer from you. It's what I expected all along. You are not turning the corner I see!
  2. You are right and I am wrong. I hope that ends it.
  3. There just might be more then one family member. You just never know!
  4. It's nice to hear from you. You finally decided to fight for yourself. Good for you! I know Clumby works very hard to keep those numbers up to date. And he does a very good job. But many times he has been wrong and has had to correct them. It is a fact that the NFL does not release the teams contract numbers. Most of the time the contract numbers are taken from articles or agents etc. If one article has them wrong then they all have them wrong. But Clumby does do a very good job trying to keep them up to date and it is very hard to do that. The point is that K- dog was just trying to have some fun and I was wrong to jump on him. Like I said I should have never answer the post.
  5. As usual you have your facts wrong again. That is not me you are refering to. So Since you are wrong you should take it back.
  6. He offered those fiquers, I challanged them. He is the one to come up with the proof. I added my post and told him I felt he was wrong. It's that simple. He told me I was wrong. What lurker does all over the board to people is not add anything at all. He just chanlenges and runs away. As far as the pot calling the kettle black - you have to be kidding go all over the board and tell me one other person that does what Lurker does. As far as I'm concerned nobody has the correct cap figures. I have never seen one site agree with another site on cap figures. Everytime you think you know were a team sits on the cap they sign a player that we all feel they can afford and all of a sudden the cap that had been reported was wrong. I said the fiqures were wrong because when K-Dog came up with a site I was going to come up with another site that said differently. There all over the place. I do not believe any cap figures on Eric Moulds until he gets traded or released because there are all sorts of hidden issues that we do not know about all the time. As far as going around and picking players like your at a super market is not my style. It's K-Dogs style but it's not mine. I'm happy for him. Not one of you guys will call lurker out and ask him why he does what he does. Because what he does is garbage. If he has something to say then he should say it. Personal for me I'm not going to bother with him unless he starts to add something with some meaning behind.
  7. If you have anything at all to offer feel free to jump in. Stop pulling these drive bye's and chicken shot post all the time. Speak your piece.
  8. I'm not even going to bother. You act like--- I don't know what you act like! "If we don't get this guy then we can just get that guy and so on and so on and so on" I have never heard such garbage. You are a person who is not held responsible for what he says and does. Your just throwing names out just for the sake of a name. This is a waste. I should have never started an answer to this post. You sound like a woman in a supermarket.
  9. OK what ever you say. Your the man and you know it all. Just remember to tell the coaches. I can assume that this is your pick based not on talent, brains and heart - because Holcomb has none of that. This is based on all the money that JP has received! You my man are one clever person!
  10. Well then I guess you just have it all fiqured out! Except your fiqures are wrong. You are wrong on the cap - on Moulds and you are wrong on the amount of dead money. You also have no idear with all the teams having more money to spend what players are going to get. You also do not even now if these players fit the system that we are going to use and you don't have a clue about the problems Bryant would bring with him. If you are going to suggest something at least understand that it's not as easy as you have made it out to be.
  11. Who said anything about throwing JP away. This is the crap you guys do when you know your wrong. All anybody has said is that he should earn it. And I disagree with you that the QB position not being up for grabs. It is up for grabs and Holcomb will most likely start the season. IMO- and it will have nothing to do with egonomics. You are the one who believes that JP will start without proving himself first. And you are the one ready to do what was done last year. Nobody is suggesting that JP be thrown away or traded or anything other then him proving himself first. And as far as Holcomb having heart, that is his biggest strength as a QB. You better start watching the games before you report on them.
  12. So now you already know how much it will cost us to sign all the players you have suggested! You have decided (just because you say so) that there will be no cap problems in the future? If you are going to throw out statements like this pleases tell us all how much money YOU have decided that ALL of these players are going to sign for. You seem yo know everything - let's come across with some hard fiqures to back up what you think all the agents of the players are going to agree too!
  13. Bull - This is exactly why TD was fired. - He believed that investment crap also and threw JP on the field too early. JP has to prove he belongs on the field. Mike Williams should have been pulled off the field earlier and just maybe he would have been a better player. Egonomics deciding when and were players play is how you become a bad team not making players earn the postions. It's how we became a bad team. TD insisted on his Drafted players playing even if they did not produce.
  14. Yea - and if you anticipate spending that dead cap money this year then you wont be under the cap enough next year to make your team better when some of your signings don't work out. You can't just sign players just to sign players. There is a reason most F A' are out there. In most cases it's about over paying for production.
  15. There is no doubt in my mind that Holcomb starts the season! J P gets in if Holcomb doesn't produce or get's injured but that's about it.
  16. You have to take Ferguson. There are other TE's in this draft - maybe not with the impact that Davis should have but they should be dam good. Anthony Fasano ND comes to mind and should be there for the second pick. He should be as good as Heath Miller and has played in a pro stye offense. Ferguson is the only true LT in this draft. IMO
  17. Now - you see I can deal with that reply. You could very well be right. I just feel that Mario has moved himself up because of his showing at the combine and we all know that Houston also needs a pass rusher as much as a LT. I just think that most people are over looking that this kid is the only true Pass Rushing DE with this kind of size and speed in this draft. That means if you have a need in this area then you have to think about this kid as a top five pick in this draft. I just don't think that if Houston keeps this pick that Bush is a slam dunk. You really have to look at Williams or Ferguson both fitting the real needs of this team before FA. Because everybody in the world has decided that Bush is the first pick I'm not so sure. I think there are other options and good one's
  18. The Board has spoken. Once again- thanks for clearing this up for me.
  19. Thanks - I would hate to loose this kid.
  20. this is what I know about RFA's --- A -- He has received a "qualifying" offer (a salary level predetermined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the league and its players) from his old club. He can negotiate with any club through April 15. If the restricted free agent accepts an offer sheet from a new club, his old club can match the offer and retain him because it has the "right of first refusal." If the old club does not match the offer, it can possibly receive draft-choice compensation depending on the amount of its qualifying offer. If an offer sheet is not executed, the player’s rights revert to his old club on April 15. If the offer is not high enough for another club to worry about loosing draft choices and we do not match it or can't match it because it puts us over the cap then we will loose Peters. Some Teams are way under the cap right now and this is possible.
  21. The union is getting a cut (56.2) of a bigger pie and the owners are killing the goose ?? The cap goes up from 85mil in 2005 to 106 mil in 2006 once the CBA is signed --and the Owners are killing the goose!!!!! Do the Math - the players are getting a big increase with this contract. Big!
  22. You mean Houston does not need the best Pass Rusher in the Draft. You really think they are going to pass on a kid that is projected to be a player like J. Peppers?? What part of the football world do you come from if you don't think this is a possiblitiy 6 '7" 295 and runs a 4.65 and is productive as a pass rusher and a top five pick! Think before you post
