Williams was second time all pro in 2017 so his resume was stronger than what we had. Toss in he played OG for the Panthers in 2019 he looked like a low risk high reward signing. At worst he would have been a backup at best he'd return to his All Pro form. He became somewhere in between. Personally I keep him over Milano since to me he's a better talent and think Milano is easier to replace.

I would have mentioned Mike Peca but I just looked at his wikipedia page and appears he isn't part of the organization anymore, he's working for the Capitals as a player development coach.

Brown's a cut candidate and McKenzie and Davis are UFAs. I wouldn't be shocked if we get a kid on day 3. -

Beasley getting cut mid season would make him higher on my list. -

If we don't bring Ty Nsehke back I'd like to see us take a chance on Le'Raven Clark from the Colts, as he has played both guard and tackle for them. He might never be a full time starter but think could be valuable backup piece. -

Free Agents We Should Be Looking At

Hughes isn't getting double digit sacks like he did earlier in his career and for much of the early season he seemed a step slower. He's good but not great. I don't mind keeping him for leadership and he can get to the QB on occasion. He's similar to Addison and I might be in minority but I keep both and then sign an UFA and draft a kid in the mid rounds to maybe compete. The UFA I like the most is Dawuane Smoot as I don't think he'd break the bank but think he's starting to come into his own. Don't forget to include Dawuane Smoot in the lower cost option guys who could be worth adding. -
Kyle Van Noy cut by MIA, should Bills target him?

He'd definitely be on my short list as he's a good player, at least he has been for New England and Miami. -
Ngakoue to me is undersized and over valued. I was doing more digging of UFAs and a name that could be a very affordable option and productive was Dawuane (DJ) Smoot of the Jaguars. https://www.si.com/nfl/jaguars/news/should-the-jaguars-re-sign-dawuane-smoot as he's had 11.5 sacks combined the last two seasons after having 0 his first two seasons. If looking for a 1 tech that could be had in the lower rounds to me the guy to target is Bobby Brown III. I think we could get him in the 5th round and coule be good value.

Thoughts on Curtis Samuel

John Ross? Phillip Dorsett has a better resume. -
Carl Lawson likely won't break the bank and has youth on his side yet is he a good enough pass rusher to start? Maybe not if so then Romeo Okwara likely the best young guy out there IMO. Yet he might be out of our price range as with use on his side some team desperate for pass rush could sign him, I could see New England getting him if Patricia liked him in Detroit. I agree as think he could be a replacement for what we lost in LorAx so put him at SLB, keep Edmunds at MLB and play Klein at WLB.

An affordable John Brown type might be Phillip Dorsett. -
No but he was scene at the Buffalo airport carrying George Seifert's luggage.
