Well Tyrod's abilities are clearly sub-par for an NFL quarterback and well below that of a NFL Playoff caliber quarterback. With that being said, he is the best we have at this point. If you are a big TT fan, you better enjoy the next five games because his tenure here is over.

Well, it's too bad they have to play the game. I have stocked up on booze to dull the pain of the beat down we are sure to be getting.

I'm sure when we're down 35-3 he'll put Peterman back in. Switching the QBs we have is the least of our problems. We don't have an NFL qb- that is the biggest problems. We passed on Mohomes and Watson and built draft capital. This capital needs to be spent on a quaterback. Move up and get your guy, even if it takes adding next years number 1.

Does it matter. The team has a lot of needs but one thing is for sure, without a quarterback you cannot win in this league. I think they need to do whatever they can to draft the best possible qb this year. They have a lot of draft capital and they need to bit the bullet and spend what needs to be spent on a qb. They may never have this much capital again, and a qb takes time to develop. Start with that piece and do what you can with the rest.

Sell your sole to draft the best possible quarterback. IT's a qb league without one you will always suck.

Does it really matter. This team is awful. They won a few games early with smoke and mirrors. Everyone knew the roster was bad, but drank the coolaid. It's pretty clear that in the NFL your only chance is if you have a franchise qb. This team does not have even a serviceable qb. That coupled with the defensive line, linebackers, offensive line, receivers and injuries, makes this product unwatchable. Frankly, I didn't vote in the poll because there was no "it doesn't matter" box.

I don't think they want to, but there is no rule against it. I do think Peterman would have to really suck to get taken out. I think the rest of the season is his even if performs below average.

If he is that bad, TT goes back in. I think too much is made about the feeling of the qb- they either work or they don't. I do agree that it depends on the definition of terrible. Is it a rookie making rookie mistakes- then you work through it- if he clearly doesn't have it and won't get it- then you go back to TT. It will more likely be the former. I like TT as a person and he has done some good things, but he is clearly not the QB of the future. So unless he's really really bad, Peterman stays in. I have a feeling he will be at least as good as TT, but have learned to not drink the coolaid.

We know the OL sucked and the DL sucked. Unfortunately, TT sucked as well. Let's face it, he is not the quarterback of the future for this team. Peterman is more decisive and may not be ready, but you need to find out what you have before the draft. I am all for letting him start now, but am pretty sure that we'll be below .500 before the coaches pull the trigger on it.

Just remember we still haven't unleashed Tyrod yet. Remember that article! Look I'm sure Tyrod is a nice guy, but he should not be an NFL starting quarterback. Try the kid, he can't do any worse then TT has done over the last couple of weeks. The players should be writing refund checks to the folks that spent their hard earned cash to watch that yesterday.

If they resign Matthews at the end of the year it would be a great receiving corp for a young quarterback to learn in. A lot of big targets, with veteran experience. THIS IS NOT A TT post, merely an observation!
