Never apologize for a win. This is a week to week league. Was it inspiring- no. Was it good football- no. But its a win. Remember, the undefeated Eagles lost to the Jets. The PJ (whatever his name is) led Browns beat the 49ers. Take the win and move on. Are there issues, yes. But it's a win.

This is Josh Allen. He will NEVER change. This is year 6. He is still running recklessly, making throws down field that are merely expressions of hope, and not trusting his oline. The more I see the more I am coming to the understanding that the oline is not as bad as we think, but that Josh runs around before he needs to making it impossible for the linemen to keep their blocks. People don't change. Athletes do not change after 6 years in the pros. For better or worse he is ours. Still a top tier qb and better than anything we have had since Jim Kelly. A new OC will not help. You can't control this guy, we just have to live with it.

Would love to have him back, but you cannot pay them all. If we learned anything it's that more resources (draft picks and free agents) need to be allocated to offense, particularly the O-line and receivers. If someone is willing to pay a non-pass rushing linebacker more that 14 mil a year, let them!

Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
davspo replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Clearly good for the Bills. Either way I thought they would win. This makes it highly likely. Feel bad for Tua. Good guy. It's the right decision- take the off season and get healthy. Re-evaluate your career. I am hopeful that he can resume it. -
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

This team is in no place to play football until they find out what is going to happen to their brother. If he is OK they will play hard. If not, who knows. I say leave it to the players and let the players speak through the captains. If they have no news or are burying there brother for forfeit Sunday, let them grieve with the rest of the community and come back to football the following week if they so choose. There is no fair in this. There is only class and character. I think the right thing to do is to forfeit the game. It really is meaningless to these guys. Cincy was the epitome of class last night. The coach, organization, fans and community. Not putting them in a worse position would show sportsmanship back. -
I have a feeling you will have a different view if Case plays this week.

If he can go, let him go. I think shelfing him to avoid risk is not the right way to go. The AFC is highly competitive and if we are indeed all in, we need to take risk. I have zero confidence in our back up qb. If Josh sits 2 weeks, we are likely going to lose 2 games. Then we are in a dog race for a wild card and some road playoff games. We have waited long enough. Time to take the risks - every super bowl team needs to accept risk to get the reward. Same with Tre' - if we are truly all in, then we need to be all in!

James Cook is going to be a major problem
davspo replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD was right to sit him after the fumble. He is young and a point needed to be made. He will learn from it. He'll be back and involved, not a big deal. -
Could Aaron Donald potentially miss Week 1 due to suspension?

I don't care. Let them bring their best and put them against our best. -

Any news on who was holding kicks?

I listened to the interview and thought to myself, "what I would give to be that articulate", truly remarkable human.

Unfortunately, you are looking like you are right. My apologies.
-
While you may be ultimately right, there is no evidence of this and until or unless there is we should not speculate.

Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St
davspo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember watching him run the gauntlet at the combine and was like "who is this guy", smooth catcher reminded me of how Cooper Kupp was at the combine. I know small sample size, but just what I remember. After that I watched his tape and thought that this kid is going to be good. We'll see. Fun pick. -

davspo replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, but Diggs is at 0 on that list, probably because they are waiting the new numbers. -
Beane anticipates Cole Beasley being back next season
davspo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
As far as I’m concerned all offensive personnel decisions should be up to Josh Allen. -

Bills vs Pats: “pound for pound” teams analysis
davspo replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Matthew Judon is a handful plus! This will come down to mistakes. The Bills make them regularly and the Pats do not! They need to clean up penalties and turnovers. Penalties have been a problem for the last several years as have fumbles. Josh needs to protect the ball when running and throwing. He has has several games with uncharacteristic interceptions. If they make mistakes, the Pats will eat them alive. If they don't they should pull it out.
