If the 2020 elections go against Trump and he claims that the election was rigged and refuses to accept the results, will you support him in his actions? I understand that it falls into the unlikely category, but replying with a non-answer would be saying you would back him. The only answer that does not endorse a dictatorship would be to reject his assertion and agree that he must leave. I don't recall you posting something similar when DR posts literally thousands of other people's tweets. By the way, it's still true, even if it is copy and pasted.

Yes, I should post things from people I never heard of on Twitter, instead of factual information.

Another poster said Trump had not taken anything away from private citizens. So, the government can steal your property if they think it's a good thing. Yeah, I'm sure you would be fine with that if it was your property.

Through November 15, the Trump administration had filed 29 eminent domain suits tied to border-wall construction this year, up from 11 each of the past two years, according to federal court records. All but four of this year's suits were filed in Texas. Eminent domain is the right of a government to seize private land for public use, while providing compensation.

“If a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment,” said the lawyer, Alan M. Dershowitz. The statement is a template for the establishment of a dictatorship. This means that a President can unilaterally do anything if he believes it is for the public good. Every single dictator in history has operated in that manner. Try and find an exception. America is a flawed country, like all are, but a dictatorship won't be an improvement. The Senate Republicans admit that Trump did what he is accused of, yet voted to not hear from witnesses. As even the biggest idiot in these threads knows, innocent people want witnesses. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand this simplest of concepts. So, if Trump loses in November and declares that for some reason the vote was illegitimate, and refuses to leave, what will happen? I'm not sure. One thing for sure, is that the resident loon on these boards will tell us that Trump is right to remain, and post tweets from other loons and Qanon as proof. The frothing loon will no doubt tell us of some unfounded theory he has gleaned from another frothing loon on Twitter. The crazed villagers, with their flaming torches proudly held high, will lap it up and make their usual pithy comments. I used to not understand how people could ever warmly embrace an incoming dictatorship. It's not that hard to understand, anymore. Fear of other + charlatans lying to them + blaming your own failures on another group of people are some of the primary ingredients. All of this for the man who is the ultimate poster boy for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. These are sad times. Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder Grandiose sense of self-importance Grandiosity is the defining characteristic of narcissism. More than just arrogance or vanity, grandiosity is an unrealistic sense of superiority. Narcissists believe they are unique or “special” and can only be understood by other special people. What’s more, they are too good for anything average or ordinary. They only want to associate and be associated with other high-status people, places, and things. Narcissists also believe that they’re better than everyone else and expect recognition as such—even when they’ve done nothing to earn it. They will often exaggerate or outright lie about their achievements and talents. And when they talk about work or relationships, all you’ll hear is how much they contribute, how great they are, and how lucky the people in their lives are to have them. They are the undisputed star and everyone else is at best a bit player. Lives in a fantasy world that supports their delusions of grandeur Since reality doesn’t support their grandiose view of themselves, narcissists live in a fantasy world propped up by distortion, self-deception, and magical thinking. They spin self-glorifying fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, attractiveness, and ideal love that make them feel special and in control. These fantasies protect them from feelings of inner emptiness and shame, so facts and opinions that contradict them are ignored or rationalized away. Anything that threatens to burst the fantasy bubble is met with extreme defensiveness and even rage, so those around the narcissist learn to tread carefully around their denial of reality. Needs constant praise and admiration A narcissist’s sense of superiority is like a balloon that gradually loses air without a steady stream of applause and recognition to keep it inflated. The occasional compliment is not enough. Narcissists need constant food for their ego, so they surround themselves with people who are willing to cater to their obsessive craving for affirmation. These relationships are very one-sided. It’s all about what the admirer can do for the narcissist, never the other way around. And if there is ever an interruption or diminishment in the admirer’s attention and praise, the narcissist treats it as a betrayal. Sense of entitlement Because they consider themselves special, narcissists expect favorable treatment as their due. They truly believe that whatever they want, they should get. They also expect the people around them to automatically comply with their every wish and whim. That is their only value. If you don’t anticipate and meet their every need, then you’re useless. And if you have the nerve to defy their will or “selfishly” ask for something in return, prepare yourself for aggression, outrage, or the cold shoulder. Exploits others without guilt or shame Narcissists never develop the ability to identify with the feelings of others—to put themselves in other people’s shoes. In other words, they lack empathy. In many ways, they view the people in their lives as objects—there to serve their needs. As a consequence, they don’t think twice about taking advantage of others to achieve their own ends. Sometimes this interpersonal exploitation is malicious, but often it is simply oblivious. Narcissists simply don’t think about how their behavior affects others. And if you point it out, they still won’t truly get it. The only thing they understand is their own needs. Frequently demeans, intimidates, bullies, or belittles others Narcissists feel threatened whenever they encounter someone who appears to have something they lack—especially those who are confident and popular. They’re also threatened by people who don’t kowtow to them or who challenge them in any way. Their defense mechanism is contempt. The only way to neutralize the threat and prop up their own sagging ego is to put those people down. They may do it in a patronizing or dismissive way as if to demonstrate how little the other person means to them. Or they may go on the attack with insults, name-calling, bullying, and threats to force the other person back into line.

The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump
Kemp replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm here. Your memory is like Trump's. I asked some questions before anyone asked me any. True or not? At least Rhino tries. Just to be a good sport and to further paint you in the corner, I will address your issue. Then, when you still don't answer my question, it will be obvious to the even more dimwitted here, not that you or anyone else will admit it. The reason all of this came out now is because Parnas's attorney offered it up, now. I have no doubt it's to help Parnas. That's the way it always works. The lower-level criminal, when caught, gives up the guy higher up in the criminal conspiracy. The Dems couldn't have gone after it before they had it. Wasn't that already obvious to you? Your turn to answer my question. I'm joking. Everyone knows you can't. -

So, you're not disputing anything I wrote. You don't like when it came out. Weak, even by Rhino standards. Did you have the same issue when Wikileaks was dumped? If you recall, I asked questions that remain unanswered. I'll address your questions after mine are answered. I've already written twice in this thread that your side deflects instead of answering. Thanks for the reinforcement. -

Rhino can't answer my questions, and you (part of the herd) are heading off on other tangents, as predicted. Rhino runs away while screaming, but note he answered none of my questions to him. I'll try again, in light of what Parnas said yesterday: Trump said he doesn't know who Parnas is. Parnas spoke in detail of his interactions with Trump, Trump's attorney, Pence, Pompeo, Nunes, etc,. As we all know, no one has a better memory than Trump, because he told us so. They have met one-on-one and in small groups on multiple occasions. This means that Trump's mind is jello or he's lying. There is no 3rd option. Perhaps the biggest question is why so many people continue to believe all of the lies, or at least pretend to. I can only conclude that some of you are stupid and some are evil. Some are clearly both. Maybe Rhino can call me an asshat for the umpteenth time (no creativity) or post a Twiitter comment from a nobody in response, because that is all he ever does. Yeah, I only drop by here once in a while because how much of this can you look at without becoming despondent about the future of America. Every once in a while I check in to see the idiocy out of curiosity. It's always the same. Rhino preaches and the stupid go "Yeah, what he said". At least Rhino tries by posting comments by morons on Twitter. The rest of you just stand behind him and yell nonsense. Rhino preaches. The congregation screams Amen. I know I should feel sorry for Rhino because a person who spends his entire life trying to gain respect on a political sub-topic of an NFL fan board is pitiful, but ignoring evil and stupidity is dangerous, because evil and stupidity has often won throughout history. I also know that I will change no one's mind here. Stupid and evil people don't magically become smart and good. In closing, here are two of my favorite quotes: “Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart —you know, if you're a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it's true!—but when you're a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that's why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we're a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it's not as important as these lives are nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?, but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it's four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven't figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it's gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us”. – President Donald J. The most accurately named poster here once again did not address my post because he can't do so. Look, I understand that your entire life is being a hero to the stupid in a chat room, so I can't blame you for the way you behave. 1. So, do you think that one of the major players in the Ukraine story (Parnas) should testify in the inquiry as to what happened in this whole story? 2. Do you deny he has been interacting with Rudy in regards to Ukraine on behalf of Trump? Rudy has already said he has operated solely as a personal representative for Trump, pro bono, which by the way is illegal because it's a donation violation. I wonder who is paying Rudy for all his trips and expenses. We know he isn't. 2. Why do you think the Republicans don't want witnesses? 3. If you were accused of a crime you did not commit, wouldn't you want someone who could prove your innocence to testify? I await your well thought out answers, but am aware that I'm more likely to get responses that evade the questions and instead bring in the usual side-steps. But why should you act differently when your lapdogs will cheer whatever you write? A side wager that Rudy never testifies? I would love to lose that bet. -

Parnas testifying about things he said and did would be hearsay? I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you're not a lawyer. -

Guess Pubs won't allow Parnas to testify because it would be bad for Chubby. Anyway, even if they all weren't afraid of being taken down, Trump couldn't claim Executive Privilege on Parnas, because Trump has already said he doesn't know who Parnas is. Since Trump has also told us that no one has a better memory than him, that would be a tough point to argue. Not that it would stop him from making that argument and his lapdogs agreeing. Good to hear that you would be in favor of Parnas testifying since it would no doubt exonerate the President. -

The deer-in-the headlights look on Allen's face seen often in the 2nd half told me that he unraveled big-time. We can say it's because it was his 1st playoff game but we won't know if that is true until he gets there again. -

Yeah, dropped balls was a big problem, yesterday, but not by the receivers..

Josh Allen gets one more season to prove he's a franchise QB. Panicking in the biggest moments is not encouraging. Getting zero TDs against a poor D is not encouraging. All will be forgotten if next season is much better. If not, dump him.
-
Allen looked like the proverbial deer in the headlights. His attempted lateral belongs in the Hall of Stupid and Panic. No TD throws against a poor D was not impressive, either. Singletary and the D kept them in the game.
