  1. I don’t believe Rosen has the “want to” to make it in the NFL but if he has a chance he can’t have walked into a better situation to get his head straight.
  2. Yeah, that’s apparently a “thing” now, to disparage Allen by calling him a RB. The next six days can’t go quickly enough.
  3. These moves allowed the Bills to keep an extra OL and Hodgins.
  4. This guy gets it: The Bills are going to blow us out next week imo. We suck, our roster still sucks, our Offense sucks, the HC sucks, no training camp sucks, etc. And Gase shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Parcells.
  5. Maye is good. Outside of him, I can’t answer your question.
  6. A “wink-wink” shoulder injury. Good job Bills. What a great culture the Bills have now. Cut two vets who are free to go wherever they want but there is mutual trust to wait a day for the benefit of the team and both come back.
  7. Ok so now their plan comes to light. They weren’t going to expose Hodgins to a waiver claim and worked out a deal with Roberts to return. Well done all around. Hodgins also doesn’t necessarily miss the season given the new IR rules.
  8. Is there a brick wall I can run through?
  9. I’ll tell you what it means. The Bills have seen enough, and these guys weren’t good enough to be one of seven WRs the Bills will have on their opening day roster (once Roberts is re-signed).
  10. Ok, now that only Taylor was claimed we should start seeing the PS filling up and the IR transactions to get Roberts and Marlowe back on the 53.
  11. I read a list of four or five guys who missed the last practice who could be IR candidates. The new IR rules for this season give them a ton of flexibility. I don’t think Hodgins is going anywhere.
  12. My understanding is that Marlowe wants to be here and understood the plan. He doesn’t have to clear waivers. He will be back on the roster this afternoon.
  13. It’s not “hate” — it’s looking at production in light of the cap hit, and what savings they could roll over into 2021 by releasing him. I understand why he was kept — he’s a “reliable” veteran and the Bills aren’t taking any chances this year — but I thought they’d go another direction. It’s all good.
  14. Biggest surprise to me was Murphy. Really thought they’d cut ties. 2nd biggest is Fromm — guy seemed to show nothing at camp by all reports. Roberts was an initial surprise but then I realized it is only temporary and he’ll be back tonight. Same for Marlowe.
  15. Yep, and they will IR someone else as well to bring back Roberts. Dane Jackson will be on the PS if he wasn’t claimed.
  16. I’m gonna go slightly conservative with my prediction since it is Week One of the most unusual season ever and a division game. Bills 38 Jets 3
  17. I really wouldn’t be surprised if this line gets to -8 by Thursday or Friday. Anyone who really analyzes this matchup can’t come away with anything other than a dominant Bills win. So of course we’ll turn it over six times and lose. Nah, just kidding, that’s the old BBFS thinking. It’s a new age of Bills football and they will put these Jets down like the dogs they are...”any given Sunday” notwithstanding.
  18. Those of you protesting the wearing of masks as an infringement upon “freedom” clearly don’t understand what freedom means, and more importantly, what it does not mean. Freedom does not mean a person may do or say anything he chooses. There has always been a need for laws that dictate what is and is not acceptable in any free society. There is a public health and safety interest in protecting people from harming themselves and others. Putting laws/requirements/mandates in place that serve a larger goal of protecting all people is not an infringement upon “free society.” If you choose to live in the wilderness, feeding yourself off the land and not coming into contact with other human beings, then yes, you are truly free and may essentially do whatever you please. But when you decide to live among others you knowingly and willingly accept that there will be things you may not do, as well as things you must do, that serve an interest greater than your own. To imply that a requirement to wear a face covering to protect others during a worldwide pandemic is an infringement upon freedom is perhaps the single most ridiculous thing I’ve heard in my 50+ years of walking this earth.
  19. It’s also overreach to require placing a strap across your body in a vehicle in a free society. Do you know how freaking uncomfortable those things are? How dare they demand that of me. You and those who think like you are idiots, plain and simple. Mods, if you want to suspend me for that comment go right ahead. I can take a few days off.
  20. Good point. In any event, unless something goes awry and Roberts is pissed off at the Bills (unlikely) I expect him to be back in the mix.
  21. Tre is a phenomenal citizen and outside of QB, the best possible face of this team. The national media are starting to realize he’s a gem. Seems like he and Josh genuinely like each other as well, so if Josh takes that next step we’re looking at a pretty great representation of our Bills for years to come.
  22. And don’t be disappointed if he’s back on the roster by this afternoon.
  23. Buffalo News is reporting this morning that the Bills expect to bring back Roberts and Marlowe. They’ll probably IR Sweeney and Feliciano.
  24. Interesting cuts. Didn’t see Roberts being cut and didn’t see Fromm sticking. We’ll see what happens this week. Let’s go get those Jets!!
