One has to be drunk to not see that Dennison was putrid today in the 2nd half and tried desperately to give the game away. Thankfully Cutler out-sucked Dennison.
McDermott builds the culture, oversees D too. Needs a real OC to help him out.
Feel bad for Shady every time we get a lead. If you are going to hand off for a four yard loss, at least use Cadet.
Offense did look good, clicking today, that is why the turtling was so inexplicable, so bad, and so demoralizing for team and fans.
He ain't throwing his coach under the bus. Called a great game - until he didn't. Then he turtled and almost blew it.
He is horrible. Denver fans still hate him.
Not McD's first choice. Played not to lose in 2nd half, can't go far that way. Players deserved to feel better about today than Dennison allowed. He has GOT TO GO! Pathetic play calling, if I was Shady I would go on strike over some of those calls. This need not have been close, but we went into the Denishell. He gets a lead and turtles.
The year Peyton's arm went he was great up until he wasn't. Couple of Brady's balls reminded me of Peyton's post-crash passing. If I recall, what started Peyton's downfall was a leg injury. Brady has an achilles "irritation" - perhaps this is the beginning of the end. Has to be relatively soon, we have suffered 16 years of his crap, he can't go 16 more! Don't know if it is his achilles or the Miami D, but he threw a few Peyton ducks for sure.
Best the snot out of them for Tre White - with Tommy in their. Give Bruce some juice to let him play one more - hit Brady like he hit Esiason.
Er, beat the snot . . . .
According to the NY Times calculator, after running it several times, if we beat Fish 2x and lose to Pats we have a 65-70% chance of PLAYOFFS!
Would be good to get off schneid even if we lose first game.
He is a terrific cover linebacker.
He has played the run very well.
He can rush the passer - though they have not really called on him to do that.
He is a smart, instinctive, fast linebacker. Just what we need. There is no hype - but he is developing into a good player right now.
Ravens probs make it, but if they lose tonight it is an "any given Sunday" scenario even though they play weak teams. Titans, however, can be had. Losing to AZ was key!
Yeah, not sure what is meant by "even at 9-7" - that is not our best possible record. 9-7 is a bit of a longshot, but if we could beat the Pats one time I believe 10-6 gets us there. NO reason we can't beat Fish 2x (or lose 2X - hopefully Smoking' Jay plays)
Miami sucks, which is not to say we couldn't lose. We tossed our whole roster and are starting over. But we can definitely beat them 2x.
So tonight - all about the Steelers! Titans in real trouble. Can't see them winning against Rams and I think they will lose one of the other two.
