  1. Its under 2 minutes though, you aren't worried about gaping holes in the run game. Just trying to get a direct route to the QB, he was flying around the edge and tyrod was throwing 4 yard out routes. I noticed they've been lining up Miller on the Left a lot, does he usually line up on that side? Or is that just for the 4 pass rusher sub package they were running?
  2. All turnovers are booth reviewed.
  3. Been there. He bit on the back line in, and wouldve been burned on the double move. Everything looked fine contact wise til he turned him.
  4. He's cuttable for like no cap hit in 2024, thats not the issue. His base is 6.5M this year, so you would need to either send salary back or add a void year or something. I dunno, are kincaid shakir and harty really the problem? Or is it scheme? Or allen not looking their way?
  5. Its a good call, but if tyrod throws elsewhere they probably don't throw a flag.
  6. Yeah he'd only work if cut. Plus then you have to cut someone to accommodate.
  7. I'm sure he was targeted as the nearest defender a few times, but we played pretty soft in zone. I saw him in there making some tackles in run support. End of the day - he played every snap and we allowed 9 points so he couldn't have been that bad.
  8. Right... Thats what I'm saying though. If the run game is working then Tyrod can usually do enough to win.
  9. I'm talking about when opposing teams stopped the bills running attack, and buffalo would struggle on third downs and mostly lose games. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201709170car.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201711120buf.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201710080cin.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201609110rav.htm
  10. He's quicker than he looks like though.. if you step into that space you better have a plan because he'll sneak up behind you.
  11. He didn't have an amazing game at all, but he had what we remember as a frustrating Tyrod game. He threw a few really nice deep shots (the 4th down one while not caught was a great throw). He used his legs to avoid some sacks, and created a few positive plays out of nothing. Did a really nice job on their 3rd downs all game and kept the Bills offense from getting more possessions. What he couldn't do was overcome a mostly missing (except for one drive) rushing attack - which was what we probably remember most. He threw with more rhythm underneath than I remember. He can be so good between the 20s but once the field condenses he loses that rhythm and is unwilling to throw into tight windows, and the Bills were able to mostly sell out to stop the run.
  12. We took a QB who is short, athletic, and struggles with tight window throws and rhythm passing. And put him in a west coast outside zone offense, with a first time playcaller. The offense was better under Roman and Lynn than it was under Dennison - and a lot of this had to do with playing to his strengths (and Colin Kaepernicks before tyrod).
  13. I'd probably go with the team who's played in 3 of the last 4 Super bowls. And the team that he already won 2 rings with. With the same defensive coach that he's familiar with. The only way he doesn't end up in KC is if they just don't want him and think he's washed.
  14. Or does he just sign with the chiefs because he played there the last 4 years and he's a free agent?
  15. I'd toss a late pick for someone like Mike Purcell. End of roster 1T who might look better with better players around him and an upgrade over what we have on PS. Also cheap.
  16. The plan against Tyrod hasn't changed much since 2015. Make him play quarterback. Contain, muddy up the reads, and he will hold the ball. He's elusive when moving up field but he doesn't have the arm to make splash plays while eluding pressure behind the LOS. So you're either sacking him, or pressuring him into trouble. Put it this way - with normal to good offensive lines... he's sacked at an 8-10% clip. With the Giants offensive line you would expect more.
  17. I do find him to be a plus blocker, and he brings a physicality that our offense needs at times. Him, Kincaid, Murray, and Harris are really there to bring more of a physical element to our attack. The overall team softness was something that needed to be upgraded between offensive line, pass catchers, and backs. I think he also offers some of the red zone athleticism you want in a TE but I agree I probably wouldn't build my offense around him.
  18. They run them... they just aren't always thrown. On 19 targets... that's a bit of a small sample size.
  19. Very likely why the average target depth for knox and kincaid are so incredibly low. Chipping affects your route depth.
  20. I think a defensive lineman can come into the DT rotation and make an impact with DQ out. You have a couple weeks to see how ford and settle handle it, but thats a position where its usually pretty straight forward. There's stunts and twists but... your job is to go after the ball.
  21. Kids fast as hell and has shown some really good vision. Beyond just the breakaway speed though he is really difficult to tackle. Mostert is a good player, but i think achane has looked more decisive and explosive so far. Mostert also has 10 fumbles in about 600 touches, and has missed a lot of time. But Achane with a full head of steam has been lethal in those outside looks the last few weeks.
  22. Can he just make it to week 17? He's holding my fantasy team together at this point. Between the eagles, the 49ers, the chiefs... even the lions, bengals, bills, cowboys, and jags. It's clear that being strong on offense and defensive lines makes everything work easier on either side of the ball.
  23. I wouldn't offer a 2nd for both of them. Suttons overpaid, and Jeudy has never proven to be worth where he was drafted. Sutton is basically Gabe davis - so not sure what the appeal there is as they basically have the same function, he drops plenty of balls, and isn't as good of a deep threat. Jeudy is interesting, but he comes with a 5th year option at 13M in cap space - so you'd be choosing him over Gabe basically. With our cap situation, you almost have to extend him so its not even a win now trade.
  24. Teams traditionally in white have the disadvantage of the opposing team being able to wear white gloves and potentially get away with holds here and there. I doubt they'll have red gloves, so tactically it is... "an advantage" i guess?
  25. He looked good but he didn't seem like a first team all-pro type player til several years in. Elite level instincts, but you need time on the field and in the film room to really use them. I hope they use Williams more once he gets a full week of practice with the 1's, dodson just doesn't have it to play will.
